Seat belt: multiple instances where the seat belth latch does not fully engage causing the seat belt to unlatch while I'm driving. Engine/Fuel: Car bogs down specially with hotter weather. Stalled twice in the past month. when attempted to restart the car, it would crank but it would not be able to fully start. I had my mechanic check the battery, fuses, and even use a scan tool with no issues to be found. The car would eventually start 30-45 minutes after it has cooled down. There is suspicion it is the fuel pump and there is a recall out for this same year, make, and model car but apparently, my VIN was not included in the recall so my local dealer is not able to honor it. I am concerned that this will turn into a bigger problem or worse, that it will happen when I driving down the highway.

I was pulling out into the road when my car stalled out of no where. Multiple errors/lights started flashing. It scrolled through many warnings saying many things weren-??t working and to call the dealer. Car would not start or move. Had it towed to the dealer. They are saying it was the fuel pump and is no longer under warranty. They say they do not know when they can get one as it-??s on back order. They will not call me back and my car is at the dealer and cannot be driven.

On 6/14/22 and 3/29/23, my 2019 Honda Accord EX Hybrid had engine misfirings which lead to total loss of power on Rt 15 in NY and CT: 6/14/22: Upon entering highway, car bucked during acceleration and lost all propulsion coasting to a stop. Check again light was on and blinking. After reseating gas cap car driven directly to dealer for diagnostic. Car computer did NOT retain any error codes even though engine light was blinking. Dealer did not do any repairs. 3/29/23: Near end of 30 minutes in stop and go traffic, car began to hesitate when inching forward. When accelerating to travel speed, car bucked during acceleration and lost all propulsion coasting to a stop. Check again light was on and blinking. After reseating gas cap car driven directly to dealer for diagnostic. Car computer did NOT retain any error codes even though engine light was blinking. Dealer did not do any repairs. If check engine light indicates get service soon and a blinking light means get it immediately, then there appears to be an issue with Honda's computer diagnostic for not retaining codes. Also the propulsion system for failing which could possibly create safety issues for drivers of this vehicle. I traded the vehicle in for safety purposes and was forced to purchase a new vehicle much earlier than expected.

I had the recalled fuel pump replaced at Miller Honda in Winchester, VA on 6/17/21. Since hen, I have driven my car only 10,000 miles more. Yesterday, at Joe's Auto it was diagnosed my car needs the fuel pump replaced. Did Honda really fix the problem?

We own a Honda Accord with approximately 39,405 miles on it when we took it to the Bob Howard Honda Dealership located at 13201 North Kelley Oklahoma City, OK 73131 for repair/diagnosis on August 25, 2022. The failure of the Honda included every sensor displaying in the vehicle from emission to lane change, etc. The dealership stated that the only code they noticed was a low fuel pressure but there was no issue other than that and these new cars are sensitive to low gas in vehicles which they felt contributed to every emergency sensor warning displayed with safety issues. We picked vehicle back up and on August 27, 2022, my wife was stranded cause the vehicle just stopped and would not start again with the same codes as before. Just quit running while driving which was very unsafe for my wife. It took well over 3 hours waiting for vehicle to be towed cause HONDA doesn't have a shift release easily accessible on their ACCORD models when vehicle is unable to start and to be put in neutral cause it won't start. We had vehicle towed back to Bob Howard Honda and on Monday, August 29, 2022 they stated it needed a fuel pump which would cost around $1007. However, the fuel pumps are on back order with no timeframe for delivery and the warranty for this vehicle expired apparently at 36,000 miles. First off fuel pump should not have failed this soon for a brand new Honda Accord or any vehicle for that matter. This is a failure in manufacturing.

My car has stranded me 3 times by not cranking. I have taken it to Gerald JONES Honda 3 times and they claim they can-€™t find nothing in the codes. They told me sounds like a fuel pump but mind wasn-€™t covered under recall. I have on 25255 miles on car and shouldn-€™t be having these issues. I made a video to show them how it will not crank. I am trying to share video but it will not take.

[XXX] vehicle has stalled in the middle of the highway 2 times, and would shut off mid drive. both times the car would shut off, start loosing speed and go into limp mode, and then stop. when trying to turn the car on, the whole dash board would light up with different errors, RDM problem, TPMS, CMBS, engine system error, electric power steering, Adaptive cruise etc. I have taken the vehicle 3 weeks prior to the latest incident to a local dealer, DEAN HONDA (911 Clairton Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236), and they said they couldn't find the issue or cause. i have video and picture evidence of problem. looking at the vehicle model, 2019 Honda accord, there are 3 recalls which describe my issue, but when entering the vin number says that my specific vehicle does not have any recalls. this is very dangerous, not only for the occupants of the vehicle, but also other vehicles driving on the road, as i was in a close call 2 times already while driving the vehicle, and the dealer, and HONDA are not doing anything to prevent the issue from reoccurring. thank you email address for contact is [XXX] Sincerely, [XXX] files included, also a quick link for the files, with larger video quality https://photos.app.goo.gl/TeAVX54tLrPJcT1p7 INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Driving on the highway at speed. Started to accelerate to pass. After a very brief moment of acceleration, it stopped accelerating. Engine light started flashing on the dashboard. Due to loss of propulsion, myself and one passenger were almost rear ended. I then engaged emergency flashers. Had to navigate multiple semi trucks on my right to coast to the shoulder. Once stopped on the shoulder of the highway, I turned off power to the vehicle, waited a couple minutes and re-started the vehicle. Vehicle started, engine light was no longer on. Drove away. Took vehicle to a Honda dealership the next morning. They kept the vehicle for a week and could not replicate the issue or find anything wrong upon inspection.

Vehicle repeatedly experiences a "cylinder misfire error" when driving above 45 mph. The check engine light will flash and the car surges like it is stalling. Loss of the ability to accelerate when it occurs. Also, the car shakes violently when the vehicle comes to a stop before turning off the engine. Many times, after restarting problem temporarily stops. I have taken it to the dealership multiple times, but problem is unsolved. Happens at least once a week. Started at 58,000 miles. More recently, the vehicle experiences a safety system failure when driving above 45 mph. 10 system warning lights were activated and will continually appear on instrument panel. Warning lights activated: 1. Hill Start Assist Problem 2. Adaptive Cruise Control System Problem 3. Collision Mitigation Braking System Problem 4. Road Departure Mitigation System Problem 5. Emission System Problem 6. Tire Pressure Monitor System Problem 7.Brake System Problem 8. Electric Power Steering System Problem 9.Vehicle Stability Assist System Problem 10. I had the fuel pump recall done at my local Honda service center in Gardena, CA. They replace the potential bad fuel pump with a fuel pump kit. After the fuel pump replacement, the car has problem start up. Normally it takes 2 to 3 crank to start the engine. But now it take more than 10 cranks. And the problem is intermittent. It's very random. It does not matter if it's in the morning or night. Or does not matter if the car is being first started or had been driven. Seem the new pump is defective as well. Wrote to American Honda on several occasions, but never got a response.

My 2019 Accord was due for a fuel pump recall (NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V215000), so I took it in to First Texas Honda and they completed a -€œremedy-€ by replacing it. 2 weeks later, I drove my car for the first slightly longer trip of 100 miles at night, and the car lost its power on the highway. Pretty much all the malfunction indicator lights were on, the dashboard LCD displayed failure of all major systems, and the car would not start again. I had it towed to Allen Honda, another Honda dealership, who told me that the new fuel pump First Texas Honda installed for the recall was probably not done properly and that some o-ring had worn out. They had to replace the fuel pump again. It appears that First Texas Honda made an awful mistake on the recall that could have resulted in an accident.

I purchased my Honda Accord sport last month and had no issues 5,000 miles on it. But as I've been driving it the brakes are not operating as they should way too sensitive and is not a smooth process as it should be the slightest pressure makes it jolt forward. On idle my rpms start to lower then go up I don't believe this should be happening. I don't know if it's a vacuum leak, fuel pump or spark plugs but there is an issue.

Shortly after starting the car, car shudders when accellerating over 40 mph. Do not matter which mode it is in. All lead to engine shuddering and the flashing check engine light. When not engaged in eco mode, I received a notice say canceling econ mode when the mode was not egaged, the typical process is start car and within a few minutes, accelerate above 40 mph and within seconds get a blinking check engine light, a shuddering engine that is slowing down below 60 mpg and getting more violent, this began after picking up the car from having routine maintenance performed. I know there is out for the general 2019 Accord model, just not my model, but the fuel pump issue sounds very similar to what I am experiencing with my Honda Accord. The "solution" so far is pull over and turn the vehicle over and restart it and hope for the before, but it only gives a temporary fix.

On 3 different dates my 2019 Honda Accord sport had a power failure. I was going about 65 to 70 mph when each incident occurred. First time was around 12/12/2021.the engine or power shut off, RPM dropped all at once for about a minute then came back to life. The second time was 12/28/2020 on the same interstate 81fgoing about the same speed. This time I pulled off the interstate the car was still shut off. I restarted the car it drove ok and no more trouble that day. On 01/12/2020 it happened again on I 81 interstate and again it shut off or lost all power for about a minute then it recovered itself.this was a very bad situation as I was in 3 lanes of traffic with tractor trailers all around going 70 mph.I have reported this to miller Honda, three times. They took it in and tried to see if it would shut off on them.it did not at that time. Service manager could find nothing at that time. I have called Honda and registered a claim as I feel this new car with only 5,500 miles on it is not safe to drive.

I noticed on a cold starts my car would misfire for a second then go away once warming up, my fuel pump relay also went out leaving me stranded at 2am because the car would not start just kept rolling over.. had to leave the car and went to get a engine control/fuel pump relay the next day and the car turned on once I put that in. With this happening I know something is going on with the fuel pump and I've put premium gas in the car since I bought it brand new. I went online to read up on it and found out there was a recall for 2018-2019 model Accord, so I went to the dealer thinking yes they can fix it but when they searched my VIN the only thing that came up was the BCM update. But knowing there is a recall for the exact problem I'm having and I can't get it fixed until I save up a little bit. Is there a way this recall can be done to my vehicle. This is the only way I can successfully get to school and work.

07/06/20 was involved in an accident due to the plastic gas pedal snapping off and becoming lodged behind the brake pedal preventing adequate stopping that resulted in me rear ending another vehicle. Max speed reached on the freeway before collision was 65 mph. Trying to brake was not smooth and I had to press down extremely hard in order for the braking system to respond and still ended up colliding with the other vehicle at a higher rate of speed than there should have been when paying attention to surrounding traffic, even with a car length distance infront of me at the start of breaking. It is typical of the braking system to engage when "detecting" close proximity to another object or vehicle but, on many occasions there was no one there; however, in the case of todays accident collision mitigation was not responsive. Tire rotation performed at Honda on 6/29/20 with reports that brake lines, fluids, and pads were up to par however this is most certainly not the case. There is currently a recall that has not made its way to consumers for the fuel pump in this car that took me so digging to find. Initiated 5,28,2020 but, will not go in effect until 7,22,2020. I could have lost my life today! such a scary situation to be in.
