I bought this brand new 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid from ROCK HONDA of Fontana, and it was delivered to my place... this was my mistake!!! Never buy from a broker, and NEVER HAVE A CAR DELIVERED TO YOU.. buy from the dealership and inspect everything there...I trusted the broker too much!
The smell was faint and tolerable the first time the car was delivered. I thought it was from the driver who delivered it who was perspiring from the drive.. but thought it weird because the a/c was on.
2 days later, I called to complain about the smell but the broker said they would not accept a return.. I asked for the dealesdhip to call me, they didn't. Broker offered to cover the cost of cleaning
I had it immediately cleaned in a local car wash place.. The smell persisted, and made a complaint again the next day. There were water spots too that the car wash shop were unable to clean.
I tried to put baking soda, and it seemed to work for a day. But when the a/c is off, the STINK has gotten worse... and now smells like a pigsty!!! It appears to emanate from the faux leather.
I am still trying to get the ROCK HONDA to call me to address the problem..
