Purchased vehicle March 6,2024. On the test drive I noticed some front end passenger issues and jerking of steering wheel while driving. I was assured it was a tire issue and alignment. I put new pads, rotors, calipers on front end and bought new tires. Car is still jerking from side to side while trying to steer no matter the speed but worse over 50 MPH.

I purchased a used 2018 CRV in January/February 2024. It came with a recall notice. I have been trying to get it fixed, but two different dealerships have told me that the part is not available and I need to wait for a second recall notice. This is concerning and I do not believe I am being told the truth regarding the availability of parts needed for them to comply with the recall repair.

My car was well maintained with less than 40k miles. One evening, when I was trying to get back home from my office, my car didn't start. I called a Honda dealer. They suspected battery issues and jump-start requirements. I called my AAA insurance for roadside assistance. They did jump-start the car and said my battery was completely DEAD. Charged me around 213$ for a battery replacement. I drove back home. The next day morning, my car didn't start again! I had to get the car towed to my dealership. The dealer was unable to figure out what went wrong. He kept the car under his observation for a night and it worked fine. When I went to collect the car after payment of about 120$ (diagnosis, cleaning, and testing charges by the dealership), the car turned on by itself with a blinking red light on the dashboard along with a battery and other lamp symbols turned on. The dealer said he found the root cause and said it could be a BCM Module issue. The BCM Module is supposed to coordinate and function many electronic safety components in the car. The car's electric components turn on by themselves and drain out the battery!! I was very shocked to see BCM's failure and it could have potential SAFETY HAZARDS for consumers!! Please look into this issue.

All of the warning lights came up on my dash and stayed on for almost 24 hours on this most recent occasion of this problem indicating that there was all of the following: emissions systems problem, brake system problem, power steering system problem, VSA problem, hill start assist problem, adaptive cruise control, problem, road departure mitigation, and hill start assist problem. This was approximately the 5th time that this has happened. The problem occurred when I turned the car back on and started to drive after it had been turned off for 10 minutes. This problem seems to be triggered by 2 different events: either idling (like in a drive thru line for a long time) the car, or, after starting the car after it has been turned off of a short period of time. The previous incidence of this problem was on January 7, 2024.

I was driving with my wife and 2 children on the highway in our 2018 Honda CRV and the sunroof randomly shattered, raining glass on us in the car. Luckily nobody was injured, but we could have been cut or crashed. Dealer and Honda deny any issue. It was inspected by insurance reps and body repair shop. I opened claim for this through all state claim# [XXX]. There were no symptoms of the problem prior to the incident. It looks like others have had issues with Honda HRV and CRV: [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

All electrical warnings spontaneously engaged on the panel; disabling cruise control and adaptive tools (emergency braking, lane warming, 3rd party vehicle encroachment, etc). The car drives fine. Has happened 6 times in the last 2 years. Either spontaneously resets when I turn the car off and then on, or I have to disengage the battery to reset everything.

Dashboard Display screen glitches. Becomes inoperable. I took the car to the dealer and they ignored it. Causes safety issues when reversing, navigating in an unknown area, makes beeping noises, and cannot be reset without turning the car off and then back on. This has been happening intermittently since 2019.

be honest, I'm unsure of what systems are failing, but there are multiple. The dash shows Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA problem), Hill Start Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control Problem, Collision Mitigation System Problem, Road Departure Mitigation System Problem, Power Steering (EPS) Problem, Electric Parking Brake Problem, Emissions System Problem, Brake System Problem. *These systems are integral to safe driving for me and my family, even though I can drive the vehicle. I cannot use cruise control, lane-keep assist, or brake hold, and the car is not handling like it was. It tends to be harder to control. * The warning lamps and messages are on and indicated in the first point. This happened on Monday while my wife was driving, and all those systems shut off. When she parked she did an online search of what the issue might be and found multiple YouTube videos of Honda owners for different models and years with the same problem. One remedy required a reboot of the electrical system in accessory mode. That worked for a day, but now the errors won't clear, and we're unable to use the vehicle's safety features.

My vehicle stalled out while driving on the highway, with all electrical components going haywire and the vehicle stopped accelerating or maintaining speed. After being towed 61 miles, my mechanic says that it is not making a loud noise when he tries to test-drive it, had no power, and returned MANY error codes, including one for the turbo. Mechanic believes that the turbo failed and triccered all electrical systems to go haywire. Honda dealership service tech confirms (without commitment, as they did not personally examine it) that the mechanics explanation makes sense and my experience describes what would happen if the turbo failed. In addition to putting me in an unsafe situation on the highway, this malfunction may end up costing me thousands between parts, labor, and towing costs. Research on the problem tells me this has happened to many other 2017-2017 CRV owners and Honday has simply failed to address the issue. UNACCEPTABLE.

the problem with my car is the air conditioning. It blows air but warm air and not cold air. This affects my work since I work on a marine base out in the desert, and the 3 hour drive always overheats everything in my car including my phone and things I try to bring home. I had to pick up another marines family at the airport and their baby kept crying because the car was so hot. At Valvoline I asked about getting my AC fixed, and they referred me to getting a recall. Over near the base an Autozone employee told me I needed AC refrigerant, so I got the $155 since the CRV is 2018. It didn-??t work even with the workers-?? help so they told me that it-??s my AC system that-??s over pressured and I needed to get it fixed immediately.

My 2018 CRV will intermittently have malfunctioning in which all warning indicators will go on flashing. The car seems to drive ok when this happens. Once in a while when this occurs, the car will not start, then eventually it will start again. I have taken to the Honda dealer several times regarding this issue. It was recommended to first fix the Power unit, which I have done around March 2023. In July 2023, the car started up again with all warning lights, once again the car seemed to run ok. I took it in again to Honda and was told that despite the issue, the car can been driven per usual and if I start to have any mechanical issues to bring it in. On September 9th 2023 the warning lights when on again and the car was not starting up. a few more attempts to start vehicle and it started and was running fine. Then the same day after the car was parked for about a half hr, the car would not start. There are numerous issues reported by other owners of the Honda CRVs with this issue. I believe this is a safety concern and Honda needs to create a recall like they did for the Honda pilots. Another issue I have is the AC takes a long time to cool and is not very cold. I live in a climate where the temperatures reach upper 90s and low 100s for 4 months out of the year. Repairs had been made soon after i purchased the vehicle, but the AC never really worked well.

This letter serves as a request for clarification regarding the rejection of my goodwill claim, as well as an appeal for reconsideration as I believe there has been an oversight in evaluating my vehicle situation. I would like to provide additional information that I believe would shed new light on my situation. I believe that a comprehensive review of my appeal will demonstrate that the decision does not accurately reflect the Honda Company-??s commitment to meeting the expectations of customers, nor does it reflect my own commitment to the Honda Company as a repeat customer for over a decade. About two weeks ago, my 2018 Honda CRV came to a full stop while driving on the highway. After spending the entire night stuck in the car with trucks and other vehicles driving past and almost hitting us, we were finally towed and brought to Lia Honda Brewster. If we weren-??t on the right side of the road and preparing to take the exit, we would have been killed by the trucks speeding past us. At Lia Honda Brewster we learned that the transmission had failed and would cost 7,800 dollars to repair. This came as a shock because per the recommendations stated on Honda-??s website, the transmission should be serviced every 50,000-100,000 miles and attached to this email is the paperwork proving that the car along with the transmission had been serviced according to Honda-??s recommendation. As I did not misuse nor operate the car incorrectly, I am led to believe that the transmission had been defective. In New York State, Product Liability Laws place strict liability on manufacturers and automakers for defects in their car. Under these laws, a car must perform or meet the standard for which they were intended, meaning that I, the customer, can reasonably expect that I will not have problems operating the vehicle and expect the vehicle to be safely drivable. I am surprised as well as upset at Honda-??s negligence and lack of accountability, but also because of the lack of support i

All the warning lights come on at random times for all these components: Adaptive Cruise Control Automatic Emergency Braking Blind Spot Warning Forward Collision Warning Lane Departure Warning Lane Keeping Assistance Parking Collision Warning Rear Cross Traffic Warning And the "ding, ding, ding" noise when the door is open also starts dinging. This has kept happening since we changed the battery last year. I have researched this issue on the internet and there are many CRV owners in the same situation. Some taken their vehicle into the dealerships and have paid thousands for "fixes" that don't work. Your agency really needs to look into this. This is an urgent safety issue since we can't have all these warnings going on at any time and when will we know there really is a problem?

The Honda dealer in Elk Grove, CA repaired my air condition once in 2020 when it was under warranty and then the air condition broke down again just after the warranty ended. I attempted to go to Honda and they said that they are unable to offer any service as it is outside of the warranty period. Each summer, it is impossible to drive this car where I live at and have also heard of others having the same issue.

2018 CR-V my air conditioner began to blow warm air after warranty expired. Research showed that many people are having same defect. Honda has put out service bulletin TSB APAS11162021901.
