The contact owns a 2010 Honda Fit. The contact stated that he was using aftermarket floor mats for the driver's side floor board. The hooks that held the floor mat down became broken and the floor mat became lodged under the accelerator pedal. The floor mats were taken back to the dealer who advised that there were no recalls and offered no assistance. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 16,000.
