I bought my car in mid-December and twice in the space of driving it less than 300 miles I got warning lights regarding a "high voltage" problem and to go to the dealer immediately. I did both times. The first time they said it was due to the robot installing some valves backward and also the refrigerant was low. They put me back on the road and it happened again after a few short drives. My car has been in the shop ever since. It is now Feb. 10. They now say that there is a badly designed hose that leaks refrigerant, and they are waiting for it to be redesigned and sent out and it is on national backorder. They estimate it should become available by end of February. I want this complaint logged into the system in case it happens again and because I am sure many people have this problem, having read all the complaints on the Honda Prologue forum online.

I was driving on the freeway when a few error lights came on-?"the Reduced Acceleration, Propulsion System Icon, and a turtle icon on the dashboard and I had to floor the accelerator pedal to maintain my speed. I then pulled over, and the vehicle wouldn-??t shift into drive or reverse. It gave an error message saying -??conditions not meet.-?? Eventually, the car started working again. This is an ongoing issue with the car and Honda doesn-??t want to do a buyback, this car is a lemon. I keep taking it to the dealer and all they do is clear the codes and state they can-??t -??duplicate-?? any of my concerns.

I purchased Honda Prologue Elite Model in May 2024. In around December, a warning sign "Service High Voltage System" message showed up. We left the EV for service twice since then and the first time the honda dealer mentioned that the A/C and Battery Sensors were in swapped positions and they fixed the issue by swapping positions and was set right. The warning came back again around two weeks later and the 2nd time around, they said the DTC P0534 A/C Charge was low and that this error must have happened at assembly. The warning disappeared for less than 2 weeks and reappeared again the 3rd time. Its about 4 weeks now since we have left it for service and when we called them couple of times, they mentioned they are waiting for the parts from Honda and dont have an ETA. Its 4 weeks and we do not have the vehicle after investing 60K. We made several calls and emails to American Honda Motor Co., Inc asking for update on the Issue and the inconvenience we are facing without having the car and the response is to wait until they can fix it. This is not expected from Honda whom we trusted and bought such an expensive car. It seems like they don'w know what the real issue is and each time we get some random response as a fix and the issue comes back. What's more concerning is that its an issue with the Electrical High Voltage system and we don't feel safe driving in it. I would have not chosen to by this EV if i knew they had these issues and not tested well enough before releasing for public. I have lost faith in Honda and 60K isn't small money Hoping the concerned office will Look into these reported issues and address this soon. Best

Twice in the total 750 mileage on the Prologue, warnings have come on that state -??Service High Voltage System" and "Reduced Acceleration Drive with Care.-?? This occurred on 01/03/2025 at ~300 miles and again on 02/02/2025 ~750 miles. This error seems to be widespread with low-mileage Prologues, but Honda does not appear to be recalling to correct.

I purchased the vehicle on January 27, 2025. The morning of Jan 29th, I had three error messages pop up. 1- Service High Voltage System 2- Service Vehicle Soon 3- Reduced Acceleration Drive With Cate The vehicle would not allow me to connect via Bluetooth. My phone was no longer paired. I took immediately to the service dept at the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. Was told it was an issue with the AC, an A/C pressure valve would need to be ordered. 7-10 days for part to come in. Vehicle is in service dept waiting to be repaired. Only 79 miles on the odometer.

show a "Service High Voltage System" message. The Honda Prologue we purchased in May 2024. We have left it with the dealership for the 3rd time now and problem kept coming back. As a first time EV user we are concerned of safety and ofcourse not knowing what is happening. The 2nd time around, I was told the DTC P0534 A/C Charge was low. This condition was not detected the first time this alert showed up. I was told that the A/C and Battery Sensors were in swapped position (ie wrongly swapped positions) and that this error must have happened at assembly. I have dropped off my EV at Dealership on Jan-9th and today is 31st and still haven't got any updates on it and i am without my car. No one seems to know what the issue is really and randomly suggest somethings and problem comes back again.

Propulsion System Failure light came on and vehicle lost all cabin heat. This occurred in winter (January) and since there is no heat all vehicle windows fog over, obscuring the view of the road and other drivers. All vehicle occupants are also at risk of exposure due to complete lack of heating in sub-freezing January temperatures.

After using the turn signal, instead of self-cancelling it will operate turn signals in the opposite direction for several flashes and then cancel. Since the turn signal over cancels it causes an increased risk of collision with other drivers who could easily misinterpret intended action.

I purchased a Honda Prologue from my local dealer with just 8 miles on it. At 97 miles, multiple warning lights appeared, including "Service High Voltage System" and "Service Vehicle Soon." Additionally, the vehicle would not allow me to charge the battery once these warnings were displayed and acceleration was reduced. I took it to the dealer, where they diagnosed an overcharged AC system causing battery cooling issues. They removed 1.270 kg from the system, cleared the codes, and tested to ensure proper levels before returning the vehicle to me. After driving for another week, the same warning lights reappeared, and now, with only 360 miles on it, the vehicle is back at the dealer for further diagnosis for the same warning lights. It does not appear an overcharged AC system was the cause. For a brand-new car with less than 500 miles, this is completely unacceptable from Honda.

This vehicle has remote features to lock, unlock and remote start the vehicle. However the app is not able to connect with the car often and the commands "'fail" which is a safety issue because it is an electric vehicle. So if the electrical or technological parts of the vehicle are failing, what else is going on.

Unable to charge the vehicle or heat the cabin of the car when running. When turning the heat up a burning odor was observed. Dashboard warning messages state -??service high voltage system-??, -??service vehicle soon-??, and reduced acceleration, drive with care. The dealership has been in contact with the manufacturer to try and address the issue but recommended parts are on back order with no ETA. Vehicle was purchased new with 127 miles on odometer and problem occurred at about 700 miles, 3 weeks after taking possession of the vehicle.

Within two weeks of purchase from dealer, the car began having warning lights -??service high voltage system-??,-??acceleration reduced-??, -??service vehicle soon-??. Additionally this electric car would not allow me to charge the battery once these warning lights were displayed. Car has been towed to dealer for repair. Several attempts have been made to get update on repair time and my inquiries have not been responded to. I-??m now stuck paying for a car that is less than two weeks old with less than 1,000 miles on it. All I have been told is that a call was made to the OEM based on the error codes that were read by the dealers system on intake. They aren-??t telling me anything in terms of what the issue is, what the OEM fix is or a time of repair. The US govt NEEDS to be investigating Honda for consumer fraud related to this vehicle as I-??ve now learned that I-??m not alone and there are now numerous online forums describing the same situation I-??m in presently. It-??s immoral to sell a $60,000 car with a known fault and not disclose these faults prior to purchase. I would have never purchased this car had I known ahead of time that there were significant known issues that could render the vehicle inoperable within weeks of purchase.

I got the high voltage battery warning error on my dashboard after one random night of charging. The error doesn-??t go away after 3 days and at times, the vehicle could not charge. I contacted my salesman and he suggested a hard reset which involved turning off the car and keeping the car fobs at least 20ft away, which worked. However I-??m still concerned there is an issue with the battery. The memory seat setting doesn-??t connect to the profiles. It randomly picks between 1 and 2 whenever the car turns on. Guest profiles can-??t have their name saved unless their Google account is connected. The speaker rattles when volume is higher than 20%. There-??s a knocking/clicking sound whenever I steer left or right. I called the dealership on 1/22/25 but was told it is not an issue. The vehicle has about 800mi on it. Front and rear collision warning sensors are too sensitive. The default settings for both are -??alert and brake-?? which had led to random braking when backing out of a parking spot AND random braking when I was driving on the road. Luckily no accidents occurred and I have turned both to alerts only.

All car screens stopped working while I was driving. Nothing seemed to precipitate their going blank; however, because the car depends on those screens for basic information (speed, for example, turning on lights, setting one-pedal driving, etc.), the car lost some basic functionality when the screens went blank. I couldn't see how fast I was going. Luckily, because it was night and the lights had been out, they didn't go out. However, I was unable to change any of the basic features of the car that depend on these screens for access. We have a video of the screens when they went blank that we can share; however, were were unable to upload the video on this website. Upon arriving home with the car, we tried shutting off and restarting the car. It took about an hour for the screens to turn back on. We are not sure why they suddenly came on, but while they were out, the car was also unable to charge. We have brought it to be serviced, but the car dealership can find nothing wrong. We worry it could happen again. There were no warning lamps, messages, etc. before the screens went blank. The car dealership could not reproduce the problem.

The Propulsion System Error warning light (a red car icon with an exclamation point) has appeared multiple times since I purchased the vehicle. This has occurred while driving, charging, or turning on the vehicle, with no apparent cause or trigger that I can identify. I have made several attempts to have the issue resolved by Honda, but they repeatedly provide excuses, such as the unavailability of an EV technician or the lack of proper equipment to update the car's computer software. During the most recent occurrence, I was driving when the error light came on, and I experienced reduced acceleration-?"something I don-??t recall happening before. This presents a significant safety concern for me and others on the road. A sudden reduction in speed increases the risk of being rear-ended by an inattentive driver, or worse, becoming stranded in the middle of a travel lane. Honda has inspected the vehicle previously and documented the error codes and they have just cleared the codes or updated the software on the car. No additional symptoms were present leading up to the issue. This ongoing problem needs urgent attention to ensure the safety and reliability of the vehicle.
