When starting vehicle, lights for Propulsion Power is Limited lights and service vehicle soon lights came on. I tried to shift into reverse, but got a warning message that the conditions for shifting error, I also could not shift to drive. I only have had the car for 2 weeks. I called the honda warranty, they arranged to have it towed to dealership. 2 different service people tried troubleshooting the problem on site with no success. It was towed and dropped off after hours at a Honda service center. The tech called the next day stating that the problem could not be recreated and all diagnostic tests came out good. Waiting and wondering when this car is going to leave me stranded again.

I-??ve had a couple of issues with this vehicle along with others I know with the same car. 1. When charging it has said a couple of times -??not sending power-?? when public charger seems to be in good condition & there being funds on the card. 2. When closing the panoramic sunroof right when it-??s about to close it opens back up. It takes me multiple tries pressing and holding down the button to get it to close. 3. Both screen displays have gone completely black out of nowhere and will not turn back on until a couple of hours later. 4. Sometimes in perfect Sunny condition with nothing blocking the windshield the Forward collision Safety feature will appear on the dashboard saying -??forward collision system unavailable.-?? 5. The battery seems to not last long and even going at speed limit or slower the battery will still drain fast.

Component/System Failure: The high-voltage battery system in my 2024 Honda Prologue failed. According to the Honda service center, the battery needs to be replaced. The vehicle is currently at the dealership, not ETA when the part will arrive or when will I get my car back. Safety Risks: The failure prevented the vehicle from charging, which could have left me stranded. Additionally, the system displayed multiple warnings, and since this is an EV, a malfunctioning high-voltage battery poses a potential fire or electrical hazard. The car was not drivable due to the severity of the issue. Problem Confirmation: The issue has been confirmed by the Honda dealership, which diagnosed the high-voltage battery as the cause of failure. They recommended a full battery replacement. Inspection by Others: The vehicle has only been inspected by Honda service technicians at my local dealership. It has not been reviewed by the manufacturer directly, law enforcement, or an insurance representative. Warnings and Symptoms: The failure first occurred two days ago when I attempted to charge the vehicle at home, but it would not charge. Multiple warning messages appeared on the dashboard, including: "Service High Voltage System" "Service Engine Soon" A red car icon with an exclamation mark I attempted multiple times to charge, but the vehicle continued displaying the same warnings. The next day, I brought it to the Honda dealership, where they confirmed the high-voltage battery issue.

Service High Voltage System warning. Have had this come up on my car and I have seen that this issue has happened to many Prologue owners. The issue is with the battery cooling system. I am glad that the car did not just shut off while I was driving. Honda/GM need to make this right.

On February 25, 2025 my car decided to throw the code that said service high voltage system. I was on my way to drive my son to school. I have been driving for about two minutes and then the code showed up I called my dealership at 10 AM that morning and told them what was going on. They told me to come down there and they will take a look at the car. I bought this car on February 14, 2025. It has 370 miles on it at the time when I got to the dealership the first person turned me back and said that they couldn-??t do anything because on the way to the dealership, the code went away. I left the dealership went to charge my car. It charged for 3% at the public charger and then it shut off. I went back to the dealership and this time they kept my car because the code was on when I arrived and the other guy apparently made a mistake and sent me home when he wasn-??t supposed to. I got a loaner. I finally got my car back on March 8, 2025. I drove it a little bit yesterday and then I drove it a little bit more today which is march 9, 2025 my day was winding down so I figured I would go to target and get what I needed and charge my car while I was there. I went to the public charger. The car charge for about three or 4% and then it shut off I got the alert on my phone so now I must go back to the dealership when they open because today is Sunday and take my car back there. The code is now back on the car. apparently, while at the dealership, they couldn-??t see anything while they had the car the code wasn-??t showing up and then the dealership said that they had the Honda engineers look at the car and talk to him about it, and they couldn-??t find anything wrong and they told me to bring it back in if it happens so I guess that-??s what I-??ll do currently the car has about 430 miles on it. I got it back and it had 390 something miles on it.

These warnings occurred at low speed driving between 30 and 35 mph.

The battery failed at 2k miles and needed to be replaced. Both axles need to be replaced due to failed CV joint. There is clicking with turns. When backing up, emergency braking engages and leads us to stop in the middle of busy roads. This is a safety issue.

Leased the 2024 Honda Prologue EX AWD on [XXX] and attempted to get the HondaLink app setup so I could see the charge level and other vehicle features. Also wanted to select my charging option and access EVGO credits. Received the text link but would not activate. I waited a week before stopping by the dealership to see if it would correct itself. Contact Honda Support and they resent the text link and told me it would take up to 24 hours to activate. I waited 48 hours and called Honda support, I proceeded to tell them that in addition to the app not working the integrated Google Maps was not functioning as it indicated the car was in Mexico, when in fact I was in Virginia. The Honda support person elevated my case to 2nd tier support and they indicated it would be 24 to 48 hours before I would get a response. I talked to tier 2 support person the next day and after some basic troubleshooting they transferred me to OnStar support as none of the OnStar buttons functioned either. After troubleshooting with OnStar they told me that 5he telematics module was probably bad and that I needed to take it to dealership, so 11 days and less 400 miles later I took my vehicle to the dealership. That was late on [XXX]. The dealership contacted me on the following Monday to tell me they need the car a little longer so their technician that was most familiar with the Prologue could look at it on Tuesday. The dealership called me back on Tuesday and said the telematics module needed to be replaced, but it was on a nationwide backorder until the middle or end of March. They did tell me the vehicle was drivable, but my concern is that without OnStar if I was in an accident and incapacitated it wouldn-??t be able to contact emergency services. I did receive an update that the part is now expected to arrive April 6th, so my vehicle sits at the dealership still and I have now made 3 payments on it even though I have only driven it for 11 days. I have had my prologue for about two months now and have noticed that I receive a warning about reduced acceleration "randomly." I say -??randomly-?? because I-??ve observed that it appears during two specific situations. I get that warning whenever I-??m low (less than 20%), so this is not random as it seems consistent. The other time this occurs is when I am driving or just starting my car (the battery percentage doesn-??t matter, as it happens when it-??s between 30% and 80%. Also, it happens when the temperature is below and above freezing). However, the latter situation occurs randomly and seems to happen more frequently while driving, though it also occurs when I am just starting the car. On top of that, the Forward Collision Warning system is extremely sensitive and has caused the car to brake hard unnecessarily on me with and without Adaptive Cruise Control enabled. Sometimes it even warns me of something that isn't even there.

The Hybrid/Electric vehicle powertrain controller requested malfunction indicator lamp illumination, please refer to codes from VICM The Lithium-Ion battery is not performing as expected. An issue has been detected in the battery conditioning system which provides heating and cooling for the battery pack on your electric vehicle to ensure efficient operating conditions.
