During my experience with the 2024 Honda Prologue, I have encountered several significant issues related to the vehicle's starter system. Notably, while reversing, the car intermittently engages the brakes as if it detects an obstacle behind it. Additionally, while driving, the vehicle occasionally applies the brakes unexpectedly, presuming that a collision is imminent. Furthermore, I observed a rapid decline in battery power, accompanied by error messages on the dashboard indicating "Service Soon" and "Service High Voltage System.-?? After consulting with a service center, I was informed that no issues were detected with the vehicle. However, I am presently receiving persistent error notifications stating "Service High Voltage System" and "Reduced Acceleration Drive with Care." In addition, the air conditioning system has ceased to function, and I have been unable to charge the vehicle effectively. Each attempt to charge concludes with the message indicating that charging is complete, yet the battery remains at a static level of 91%. These issues present serious concerns regarding vehicle safety. The unpredictability of the braking system could potentially lead to an accident, while a sudden failure of the battery during travel could leave me stranded, endangering myself and others. These examples represent just a portion of the various complications I have experienced, highlighting a significant safety risk associated with this vehicle.

Automatic braking is very sensitive, especially in the rain, and even more so when backing up in the rain. The unexpected braking happened to me at a rotary for no apparent reason, and numerous times in reverse. Service Vehicle Soon Light/(Propulsion System Failure) came on randomly at around 4000 miles. Within a day or so it turned off. Nothing with the car seemed to be effected. Then around 4500 symbol turned on again and has been on for a day or so. No notable issues.

GPS Navigation - The dashboard's Google GPS navigation has stopped functioning. OnStar System - The OnStar light remains red, indicating a potential issue with the system. CarPlay - offers to use Google Maps or Maps, however, when selecting Maps, the system returns the Google Maps. Safety Concerns - While the immediate safety risks may be minimal, the malfunctioning GPS can affect route planning, and the red OnStar light suggests potential issues with emergency communication services. I was utilizing the navigation system when it stopped working and I did get lost because the system stopped working and displayed where I had last charged my car. When I contacted Honda, I was given an appointment date/time. On the day of the appointment, Honda Service team was unsure why I was given a 5 PM appointment and did not provide assistance. I plan to go again this week to get assistance. There are numerous complaints on the forum with customers stating the same issue

I activate the right turn signal then turn right. When the turn is complete and the steering wheel straightens out, the right turn signal is automatically cancelled (as is normal). However, one out of about five times, after the right turn signal is automatically cancelled, the *left* turn signal activates for three blinks, as though it was momentarily pressed. The dealer was able to duplicate the problem, then "test drove another Prologue in stock, duplicated concern on known good Prologue." Then the dealer went on to conclude, "Characteristic of vehicle, no problem found." The service manager and the general manager at the dealer state that this is not a safety issue. I had let the dealer know, and it is in writing on the repair order, that a car coming in the opposite direction to me turned left in front of me thinking I was turning left (because my car's left blinker was on after I had just completed a right hand turn). I braked to avoid hitting this other car. I contacted American Honda and created a case number. A few days later the American Honda agent confirmed exactly what the dealer stated. First, that Honda does not consider this a safety issue and second, that it is characteristic of the vehicle and therefore no problem exists.

While sitting idle at a traffic light, my forward collision notification beeped in spite of my Honda Prologue and the vehicle in front of me being completely still. Otherwise, no movement was taking place in front of my car. I captured this on camera during an incident when this occurred briefly. I would be happy for Honda to inspect this. I haven-??t reported this to anyone else at this point. No other warning lights or messages indicated this could be a problem. This failure of my forward collision warning system has occurred about 50 times since purchasing this Prologue in late December of last year (over about 7,500 miles). At times, the beeping won-??t stop unless I put the car in park. I learned the locations of the sensors behind the rear-view mirror and on the bumper. I cleaned the outer surfaces off to no effect.

I turned my car on and it made an extremely loud, dangerously loud, loudest noise you have ever heard loud, static noise. I turned it off and waited and turned it back on and same thing. I tried shifting it to drive, and the noise stopped. However, every time I did anything where the vehicle would make a noise, it would make a full-volume static blasting noise instead. It was not safe to drive and I am afraid it has permanently damaged my eardrums. This is a known issue (see links below) and needs to be fixed immediately. We were assured the issues were fully resolved. We were told a Honda technician had been dispatched to support the repairs and ensure all work was handled thoroughly. 04/09/2025-?" Same error messages appeared - "High Voltage System" Car towed to dealership again for repair 5/6/2025 - Vehicle is still being repaired

The contact owns a 2024 Honda Prologue. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and turning the steering wheel, there was a clicking sound coming from the front end of the vehicle. The sound had become progressively worse. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the AC was inoperable, and the contact became aware that the radio remained on for an additional 1-2 minutes after turning off the vehicle. While locking the vehicle, the feature that illuminated on the instrument panel displaying a message that all doors were locked, failed to operate intermittently. The contact stated that while charging the vehicle, the charge exceeded 100 percent charge. The contact stated that the vehicle also experienced several electrical malfunctions intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed the vehicle; however, the contact was unable to recall the results of the diagnostic tests. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

Vehicle with purchase on April 15, 2025 pre own with only 5800 miles. Drove the car for less than 2 weeks on April 28,2025 a vehicle warning pop-up -?? high voltage service error-?? I took it back to Honda dealership. A code U3620 came up. The code indicated a high voltage battery replacement needed. Currently ETA for the parts is not available.

Back up Camera -- Honda Prologue Elite model does not have night vision back up camera. In the night when you reverse your car nothing is visible unless you press breaks. I realized this when I got loaner car and lower model has full visibility in the dark but my Elite back up camera does not have night vision. I complaint this issue with Honda Repair center and they asked me to complaint to Honda manufacturer as all Elite has same problem. I called many time to Honda but not response. Sensor - hands-free access does not work every time. it works only randomly. I complaint this to the repair center and they said all the car has the same issue so we cannot do anything about this. As my car is on lease, they are not cancelling my lease or replacing my car.

While traveling out of state, my 2024 Honda Prologue became nearly inoperable due to a system failure. The vehicle suddenly stopped accepting a charge at any public charging station and displayed multiple warning messages, including: -??Service High Voltage System, -?? -??Service Vehicle Soon, -?? and -??Charging System Problem.-?? There were no prior symptoms or warning lights before this occurred. The messages appeared abruptly during a multi-hour drive home from a trip. I was able to reach the nearest Honda dealership safely, but I was forced to leave the vehicle there, far from home, because it was no longer able to charge and could not be driven further with confidence. The issue was confirmed by the dealership-??s service department, who diagnosed the problem as a high-voltage battery failure requiring full battery replacement. The service team advised that repairs would take at least three weeks. I was not offered a loaner vehicle or transportation support, and I had to secure and pay for a rental vehicle just to return home. As a result, I currently have no reliable form of transportation, and Honda is not providing a rental or loaner vehicle during this extended warranty-covered repair. Furthermore, I was informed by Honda Financial Services that even if the vehicle remains out of service for over a month, I am still expected to continue making monthly lease payments on a car I cannot drive. This situation presents a serious safety and consumer protection concern, as the vehicle suffered a sudden loss of essential EV function without warning and left me stranded out of state.

SEVERAL LIGHTS BEGAN FLASHING, AND THE ACCELERATION stopped at 25 mph: 1. Service High voltage 2. Service Vehicle Soon 3. Reduced Acceleration - Drive With Care I brought the car in the next day. The service center at Honda Mahwah diagnosed the problem immediately. They said it is a valve for the AC system that cools the battery. They know this valve is bad on many Honda Prolouges and needs to be replaced. They said there is a "Service Bulletin" out for this problem. Then they said they do not have this valve and have no idea when it will be available. They did not want my car to sit on their lot, nor did they offer a loaner. I have not driven the car since, and it sits in my driveway, not the garage. I'm afraid of the high voltage problem, and I do not want the battery to explode in my garage. I think the NHTSA should issue a recall so this can be fixed. Pictures attached.

Was driving down highway 280 north last night (April 12, 2025) near Palo Alto and both screens went black. Safety issues: 1) I was not able to gauge what speed I was going since both the instrument cluster and the center screen were blank. 2) The maps and navigation informing me of my trip were no longer available. 3) I could not hear any indication that the left / right turn signals were active when I attempted to turn after the screens went blank. There were no warnings, lamps, symptoms prior to the issue. Regarding the car multiple times did not result in the screen coming back. The screens did come back after leaving the cars turned off for 2 1/2 hours. On Friday morning I did update the Honda Prologue to the latest manufacture's software version using the car's built in software update feature.

I leased this vehicle approximately three weeks ago, yesterday as I was adjusting the dashboard lighting, the service high voltage battery warning came on. Now the vehicle wont take a charge, the vehicle has changed the charge setting to 40%, and I cannot increase it. I 've reserved an appointment for 4/11/2025 for the vehicle to be serviced, and was told that I wont be given a loaner vehicle. This entire scenario is very inconvenient to say the least. This my first Honda and probably my last. I feel that my safety is at risk in this case, as I cant drive it now, since I cant recharge the battery, so the vehicle is totally unreliable at this time. There were no warning signs of this issue, and I'm grateful that the vehicle didnt die in the middle of rush hour traffic, or leave me stranded somewhere.
