The engine stopped in my car, and there was a knock as the car moved at a speed of 30 miles. I found information on the internet that my car is subject to nhttsa recall # 17V226000, campain 162, due to defective engines. Hyundai ukraine rejected my request to consider the complaint about the engine stop, as the engine is made in the usa, and Hyundai ukraine has nothing to do with cars produced and sold outside of ukraine. Hyundai ukraine stated that Hyundai does not cover cars worldwide with a guarantee. Speaking of responsibility for the quality of their products, I would like to say thank you to Jeep, they have a guarantee all over the world. If necessary, contact me via mail, I will give my phone number. To register a complaint, you needed a phone from the United States. I wrote the number of my friends, they do not know about my complaint. Don't disturb them about

My vehicle only has over 150,000 miles on it and I kept up my maintenance. My engine has seized more than once. My vehicle never let me know I was on empty, my dashboard showed me I had 3 lines of fuel but it would not start until I put gas. While I was driving my engine seized, I checked my oil and I had zero fuel, this was a month after my oil change. The second time my engine seized I was turning on a city street and I had to pull over because my engine seized again. For some reason, my fuel just disappears with no visible leaks.

Urgent. 1) defective engine per Hyundai's admission. I will not accept a software 'bandaid' approach to patch to my main ECM to resolve this problem. I did go in to sheppard motors to get this bandaid applied to my car. This is a bandaid, and shame on Hyundai. My engine is warrantied through July 2023. I've been around. 2) my car is brand new, with only 27,400 miles on her 3) the latest recall on both the low and high pressure fuel line/ hoses etc. Should I wait for a fire here? dear NHTSA: Please look up all of the recalls and extended warranties on my vehicle. Unacceptable to me. I believe that no quality control whatsoever was practiced and applied on the factory production lines. Hyundai Focus -- big money. Pressuring factory workers to put in any part they can find. I have some stories here about the audio system on my car that will absolutely blow your collective minds. I've been around. 4) Hyundai long since sent me extended warranties on a) the entire engine B) brake pedal stopper C) front coil springs D) seat belt tensioners (drivers tensioner was already replaced, and yet, it still does not retract completely when exiting the vehicle pray tell, what gives Hyundai" new car here. My greatest concerns about this new car that I paid for in cash -- and was defrauded in that process as well -- I could have bought a Honda for much less, and never have any problems. I am rather frustrated here and pray for government advocacy and intervention. Thank you so very much. #1 I need a brand new motor, the whole motor, which has been thoroughly quality control tested and proven, and which has been completely tested. My motor is very, very noisy. So, do I wait for the rod bearings to fail completely and stall out my car, causing a fatal crash" #2 I need both my low and high pressure fuel lines and hoses, etc. Replaced

This car has so many recalls its scary. I've had my car checked multiple times for recalls from the seatbelt to the engine bearings. My engine light came on a few months ago and I've noticed this car doesn't hold oil well and I have to constantly check it. I was leaving a store on a main highway and my car statred8to jerk. A few moments later, the warning lights on my dashboard were on. I pulled off the ride and tried to park and the car wouldn't stop! I had to put the car in park in order for the car to not keep rolling down the road. The car will run while in neutral but not while in drive. The scariest thing was I thought I was going to hit a building not far from where I parked. Thank god I thought quick. I'm disappointed in the Hyundai brand. Never had I had so many issues with a car. All the repairs are super expensive for the inconvenience customers have. I like my car but with so many different recalls and issues every 6-12 months shows poor quality and its unsafe to operate. I'm unhappy I purchased this car and found 4 open recalls after it was off the lot.

The contact owns a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 18V934000 (engine, fuel system, gasoline). The contact took the vehicle to sport durst Hyundai (4507 durham-chapel hill blvd, durham, nc 27707) where he had the engine replaced under the recall. Upon return of the vehicle, the contact stated that he could hear an abnormal knocking sound from engine with the low coolant warning light illuminated. The contact also stated that white smoke would also emit from the engine. The contact then took the vehicle back to the same dealer where he was informed that the knocking was due to the wrong type of fuel in the vehicle. The contact was informed to use 89 octane fuel in the vehicle instead of 87 octane fuel. The contact switched to 89 octane fuel however, the knocking with the white smoke became more pronounced. The contact stated that on several occasions the vehicle shutoff immediately after start-up. The contact called the dealer and was informed to bring the vehcile in to be inspected. Driving my car 2013 Hyundai Sonata from nyc to Ohio, car overheated and shut down on interstate 80 West bound police mandated a tow to nearby mechanic where they said my thermostat along with thermostat housing was fried up. It was replaced only to 3 months later car overheated again, along with gas smells in the air vents, and stalling as well as total engine power loss. However, couple months later, recall 189 was issued but didn't resolve overheating issue, in fact made the car reacted more negatively. One more month later I was notified of Hyundai theta engine class action law suit settlement and pursued nearby dealership who said they would diagnose it, which showed 7 coders showing misfire and one for battery faulty and one for the gas rail and pipes. My dealership didn't notify Hyundai that I mentioned my car had been stalling, shutting itself down a few times and Hyundai denied my claim for repairs under this settlement which is a lifetime warranty on the engine. There is extremely something faulty with the gas piping on this engine
