Had to replace driver's side window regulator in December 2021 at a cost of approx. $700 including diagnostic fee. Now was told the other three need replaced in October 2023 at a cost of approx. $2,100. Suggested to Hyundai that a recall should probably be done because it's clearly a known issue. First regulator - put driver's window down and it wouldn't go back up. Other three regulators - the windows are unresponsive and slip down slightly on their own. The vehicle doesn't even have to be moving and can be parked in the driveway. This is totally unacceptable and has caused me to rethink ever purchasing another Hyundai.

This is the same problem as everyone else is having, all four of my windows have failed because of the plastic gear that disintegrates once out of warranty period. Hyundai continue to bury their heads in the sand and won't admit fault and take responsibility. Everyone on here that has this problem and reads this should also put pressure on Hyundai and demand a recall. Here are some email addresses that I found and sent complaints to. service@hyundai-gs.com, sales@hyundai-gs.com, sales.us@hyundai-gs.com, ipinfo@hyundai.com, digitalcomm@hyundai.com, ConsumerAffairsTEST@hmausa.com to.

Let's not accept this as it is bullshit, I have four widows held up with rubber wedges let's all make some noise!

Power windows in rear of vehicle both crapped out at same time, had both front windows fixed before. Drivers side two times and front passenger side one time. Hyundai say it is not a recall item and want 700 dollars each to fix them. All maintenance has been at the Hyundai dealer I bought the suv from. Would like to buy another Tucson but doesn't seem likely. Had to put clothes pin in windows to keep from sliding open.

All four power windows clunked out within about a two-month span. The driver window was the first to go - it got stuck all the way down, no way to lift it back up. Repair was nearly $500 because apparently the whole contraption has to be replaced. Next was the passenger front window, stuck in the up position. Lastly, the two rear windows went out. Rather than shelling out an additional $1,500 to get these fixed, I secured them in place using a command strip and binder clip.

Right rear window was lowered and would not go back up. Rain, security, etc. Needed another quick fix. NOTE: I had previously repaired the same exact problem on both the left front and right front windows of this vehicle. This made three out of four windows defective in a lightly used vehicle with mileage under 68525.

Left rear window would not go up or down. Replaced "D 3001 Panel Assy-Rear Door Module LH". This was the same exact problem that I had previously repaired on all three other windows in this vehicle. Cannot be a coincidence when ALL FOUR POWER WINDOWS ARE DEFECTIVE IN THE SAME CAR.

I believe this has to be a manufacture defect. All four windows failed within days of each other. I have complained to Hyundai but they said there was not defect or recall for this problem. At this point, the cost is roughly $1000 per door because the parts can only be obtained from the dealer. I hesitate to buy from a pick a part place because I may find the same issue after the install. This is very aggravating and embarrassing because you cannot roll the window down and have to open the door for anything like drive thrus. I have had to tape the windows up because otherwise they fall into the door.

The automatic windows for the passenger front and the rear driver failed, A total of 3 windows on the vehicle are now broken and Hyundai claims its not a manufacturer problem.

There have been 2 other problems with the vehicle and it took 2 years for Hyundai to take responsibility and recall the vehicle to make the repairs. Currently they are failing to accept responsibility for the windows and fix the windows.

3 of the 4 windows have failed. I own my vehicles for more than 10 years each and never had the windows fail on any other vehicle I've owned.

Power Window on Passenger Side stopped working. It is exactly the same problem that I had with the Driver Side Window. I made an appointment at Wesley Chapel Fl Hyundai Dealer. They said this would not be Covered. My appointment is not until May 10. It is obvious that the 2016 Hyundai Tucson has a problem with the doors.

I have seen others have the same problem with this vehicle and I imagine many didn't report it and just got it fixed. Needs to be a recall if there already has not been one. I've already going to the dealer on 16th to get the right door handle fixed that was recalled. What the hell is the matter with this model? Good grief, what will be next? Last week the left window and this week the right window and fuses are ok.

All four of my windows have stopped working. The motor part works B/C I can hear it... the window just doesn't go up or down. It's likely off the tracks. I can understand one but all four... seriously - all four windows do not work. I did get the driver side fixed but need some kind of explanation of how the other 3 windows stop working when they are NOT used. I am the only rider in the car. If there is a recall needed it's for the windows!

When I bought the car used the Karfax stated the window regulator in the passenger side had been replace. I just had the window regulator in the back window replaced about three months after I bought it. And now the drivers side window is stuck open. OMG, why is there not a recall on these faulty regulators. I am so over this car.
