The audio suddenly stopped working (no warnings). This happened 3 times within the last few weeks. Dealer have fixed it each time (i.e. audio is back). Without audio important safety audio warning is not working. Dealer told us Hyundai won't fix it because it will cost over $3000 to replace the amplifier.

Since I received my car, within a few couple of months I have noticed that the car would jump forward when changing the RPMs/gears. When I had brought it in for an oil change, I had mentioned it to the service tech and they told me they would run a diagnostic to see if anything would pop up but the likelihood hood it wouldn't show anything. The second time I mentioned it again while I was driving, the car would accelerate faster than normal as though it was on Sports Mode even though it wasn't, and then the car/engine would jump or make the car lunge forward as it was slowing down. They said they would look into it again but nothing was found. a few months later I was driving home on the freeway when my car jumped again, the engine turned off and I was in the middle of the freeway not being able to accelerate but take the speed I was going to move over to the emergency side in order not to get hit by another car. I got it towed into the dealership, they said they would get back to me after a few days and once they found out what happened, they had my car for about 2 weeks. They also wanted me to pay for a fuel system flush and returned the car to me on empty gas which was full when I brought it in. The back passenger window wasn't working either and I had brought that up to their attention saying if I were to bring it back in I would need to pay for a diagnostic to get it fixed. I was upset and brought it into another dealership to get fixed and mentioned again about the car jumping and afraid that I would be left on the side of the road or the engine would turn off again. They couldn't do anything without an engine light to be turned on. I'm afraid of driving my car but why am I paying for something that the dealership cannot fix or know that whatever they did wasn't fixing the problem? I have brought in my car time and time again to get seen or fixed before the major issue happened and now electrical parts of the car are faulty with things turning off randomly.

When I-??m at a dead stop, and start to drive off, there is a jerking at around 13 miles per hour. I believe it is when it is shifting from first into second gear. It happens often, but not all the time. This happened when I first bought my car, and I was told that the car has to get to know me. I thought this was true, because it seemed to have stopped at some point for a while. Now it is doing it again, but more dramatically. The jerking is very obvious. Also there have been about 5 times when the car revs by itself when I am in the 40-??s. I am not pressing heaving on the gas, I am just driving, and it sounds like it slipped out of gear for a second and the car is revving, and then it just goes back to normal.

I have noticed this only happens on very cold days and it has Happened 7 times now. The car will be driving along and suddenly lose all power to the point you cannot accelerate above 15 MPH even if you floor the gas pedal. While this happens the Battery indicator will drop to 0 and then a Message Check Hybrid System pops up. Once the car comes to a complete stop the parking brake will automatically engage and will not release. If you shut the car off and turn it back on, A message please wait while battery charges is on the display and will not disengage the parking brake until the battery charges up to about 35-40%. The dealer has looked at the car 4 times and found nothing as no codes ever registered. I even opened a case direct with Hyundai Consumer affairs and they can not seem to find anything wrong with the car nor do they think it is an Issue. I find this to be extremely unsafe for a vehicle to randomly lose power and refuse to come out of park regardless of where on the road you happen to be when this occurs. It has not happened since the temperatures have been above freezing, but with winter a few months away. I completely fear for my safety.

All electrical systems proceeded to malfunction with the check engine and driver safety system warnings blaring. Vehicle proceeded to accelerate from 10-40 mph on its own for approximately 400 meters on the freeway. Vehicle brake and acceleration system did not respond to any driver input for approximately the entire length. Vehicle then proceeded to respond normally temporarily allowing us to pull over to a nearby parking lot and engage the emergency parking brake and out the gear into park. Transmission gear indicator then proceeded to switch randomly from Drive to neutral to park and repeating with infotainment system glitching. After engine was shut off and given time it was restarted and vehicle operated normally. Vehicle is currently under diagnosis with service center (Huffines Hyundai McKinney).

I drive 2022 Hyundai Tucson hyrbrid limited. I have noticed a plastic cluttering noise coming from outside hood area on driver side. This noise is always there at highway speed only. Have already complained to dealership but they act like they are confused and can-??t figure out where exactly noise is coming from. Like me many people have complained about this same cluttering problem which nobody has figured out where exactly it-??s coming from. But the noise is loud and always there at highway speed. Only way to hide this noise is by playing loud music.

The trailer towing guidance in the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid owner-??s manual is incorrect and would put the driver in a dangerous situation if followed. There are at least two key errors: - Page 6-68 states, -??The trailer tongue should weigh a maximum of 10% of the total loaded trailer weight...-?? This is incorrect. For stability, the trailer tongue weight should be a minimum of 10% of the total loaded trailer weight. - The table on page 6-69 lists the maximum trailer weight when equipped with a braking system as 3,500 pounds. However, the table also gives that the maximum tongue weight as 220 pounds. That equates to a 6.3% tongue weight. I contacted Hyundai to ask for clarification (see attached email). They told me that -??Towing capacity is based on engine power and other such concerns. Tongue weight is determined by the material strength of the hitch, anchor points, etc. and therefore the two will not necessarily coincide.-?? I then asked them what the tongue weight limitation was based on and they said they did not know. The owner-??s manual is over 11 Mb, so I have only to two pages of concern.

Three incidents of shifting from park to drive or reverse and car does not move in the drive or reverse. Turning PHEV car off seems to reset it. Third time car had a high pitch whine and trying to move in reverse caused a strong shudder and check engine light to come on. Diagnostic code for power train P072200. Turned car off and drove a few hours later and seemed to be back to normal. DTC cleared after a few days. Dealer unable to check for a month. Have dashcam footage of last incident.

Driving the car acceleration will go to zero. You can floor it and it will only go to 20mph. The car asked you to pull over safely. They hybrid battery is at zero and warning signs keep flashing. Has happened over three times on a new car. Dealership can-??t figure it out. When I look up -??HEV warning Tucson hybrid-?? there are many with same issue. Very, very dangerous issue.

The vehicle lost acceleration just as I was getting on the freeway ramp. It would move but slowly. I put emergency lights on, drive on the side and crept off the next exit and pulled into parking lot. Shut the vehicle off and checked tires, gas pedal, under hood. All seemed ok. I started the car and it started moving and then went back to hardly moving. I was near the dealership when this happened so took it to dealership/ service. It has had a few episodes we-??re it seemed something was wrong with the car prior to this. A dragging or not shifting into gear as it should were I have pulled over to see if my tire had gone flat or something. Then it goes away. Also clock kept running slow loosing a minute every few days. Hyundai service could not get the car to repeat the incident. They ran a scan and codes were ok.

Initial incident happened in June 2022; car under 5k miles. When slowing down at a light, car suddenly started to shake and engine would shut off. Dashboard warning indicated place in neutral and start car again. After restart, car would still turn off, unable to move or shift gears without shutting down. After keeping engine off for a few minutes, car was driveable again but a sound coming from engine when in D while at a light. Brought to dealership in Woodbridge, VA but was told they were unable to replicate incident. 2nd incident occurred in October 29, 2022. At a light, car was going to auto shut off while at light but then lurched, shook violently and engine shut off. The dashboard said place in neutral and turn engine on. Was able to move car after a few attempts and move to safe area. Let car rest for a few hours. When driving, and slowing down at a light, car would shake; i would place in Neutral and car will settle. Any time at a light, it has to be in neutral or else engine will die. Brought to dealership, added 15miles but unable to replicate. Nov 3rd, car began to lurch when at speed of 40 - 45. after stopping at a light, car would not accelarate, engine revving but little movement. had to pull over and turn engine off. Nov 5th, while on highway vehicle began to lurch at 55-60mph, engine was at 4rpm, engine struggling but speed not increasing. since on a downhill, car was moving but engine revving; speed not accelerating. Had to merge to shoulder; shut car off 2x and restart before car drove without incident. Videos of dashboard were taken during incidents in October and November.

I bought this car less than 30 days ago, and it has 1,500 miles. I tried to start my car in the morning and when I put it in reverse, it just rolled forward. I braked and put it back in park and the engine shut off. I tried this a few more times before I gave up. A tow came and first suggested it was the alternator, before another tow came and suggested it was a sensor. It has been at the dealer for 48 hours without a diagnosis, -??maybe the injectors.-?? I am fortunate this happened in a parking lot and not while I was on the road. I am now terrified to drive this car.

It-??s not even an year I bought a 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL (Convenience Package). I started getting couple of issues. 1. I noticed that Gears aren-??t shifting smoothly and always ends whining between gear shifts. 2. Soundsystem started giving trouble since a week with unclear/distortion noises while playing music. I tried connecting via cable/bluetooth and changed to FM/USB but still the same. Worst experience for me. I hope Hyundai will help me by fixing the car.
