On two occasions, immediately after startup, the vehicle has experienced vastly diminished power. Once in November 2023 and once on [XXX]. Both instances were identical. Vehicle could barely move from a stop, even at full throttle. Speed above 25 mph could not be achieved. RPMs exceeded 4500. Vehicle did not stall. No dash lights, warnings or chimes were triggered. Upon shutdown and restart, problem disappeared. Source of failure is unknown. Upon notification, dealer (Gossett, Memphis TN) offered a diagnostic service for $100 with a two month wait for available appointment. Vehicle has had no other issues. Vehicle is accident-free. On a clear day in December 2023 the sunroof on my 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 4d 4wd exploded. There was an incredibly loud bang while driving along Hwy [XXX] outside Wausau, Wisconsin. I had the inside of the sunshade closed. I pulled over at the next exit. It was a beautiful clear day. I drove back to town to the dealer I purchased the vehicle from. They said they had never heard of this happening. Our insurance agent told my husband she had dealt with the same issue 3 weeks earlier. The collision avoidance system has been going off randomly when there are no cars around, and also in the middle of traffic when I am more than two car lengths away from other cars; when I am on the highway driving fast and when I am on side streets driving slow, and even in my driveway. Additionally, some of the times that the warning system flashes and sounds off the car brakes and stops in the middle of the road. There is no pattern for when the incidents occur not are there any adverse road conditions. Roads here are flat and this has occurred during periods of no rain. Safety of myself my passengers and other driver is at risk due to the vehicle stopping for no reason. I took the car to the dealer, and they could not duplicate the problem and did not find any issues when checking the diagnostics.

The audio suddenly stopped working (no warnings). This happened 3 times within the last few weeks. Dealer have fixed it each time (i.e. audio is back). Without audio important safety audio warning is not working. Dealer told us Hyundai won't fix it because it will cost over $3000 to replace the amplifier.

Since I received my car, within a few couple of months I have noticed that the car would jump forward when changing the RPMs/gears. When I had brought it in for an oil change, I had mentioned it to the service tech and they told me they would run a diagnostic to see if anything would pop up but the likelihood hood it wouldn't show anything. The second time I mentioned it again while I was driving, the car would accelerate faster than normal as though it was on Sports Mode even though it wasn't, and then the car/engine would jump or make the car lunge forward as it was slowing down. They said they would look into it again but nothing was found. a few months later I was driving home on the freeway when my car jumped again, the engine turned off and I was in the middle of the freeway not being able to accelerate but take the speed I was going to move over to the emergency side in order not to get hit by another car. I got it towed into the dealership, they said they would get back to me after a few days and once they found out what happened, they had my car for about 2 weeks. They also wanted me to pay for a fuel system flush and returned the car to me on empty gas which was full when I brought it in. The back passenger window wasn't working either and I had brought that up to their attention saying if I were to bring it back in I would need to pay for a diagnostic to get it fixed. I was upset and brought it into another dealership to get fixed and mentioned again about the car jumping and afraid that I would be left on the side of the road or the engine would turn off again. They couldn't do anything without an engine light to be turned on. I'm afraid of driving my car but why am I paying for something that the dealership cannot fix or know that whatever they did wasn't fixing the problem? I have brought in my car time and time again to get seen or fixed before the major issue happened and now electrical parts of the car are faulty with things turning off randomly.

When I-??m at a dead stop, and start to drive off, there is a jerking at around 13 miles per hour. I believe it is when it is shifting from first into second gear. It happens often, but not all the time. This happened when I first bought my car, and I was told that the car has to get to know me. I thought this was true, because it seemed to have stopped at some point for a while. Now it is doing it again, but more dramatically. The jerking is very obvious. Also there have been about 5 times when the car revs by itself when I am in the 40-??s. I am not pressing heaving on the gas, I am just driving, and it sounds like it slipped out of gear for a second and the car is revving, and then it just goes back to normal.

I have noticed this only happens on very cold days and it has Happened 7 times now. The car will be driving along and suddenly lose all power to the point you cannot accelerate above 15 MPH even if you floor the gas pedal. While this happens the Battery indicator will drop to 0 and then a Message Check Hybrid System pops up. Once the car comes to a complete stop the parking brake will automatically engage and will not release. If you shut the car off and turn it back on, A message please wait while battery charges is on the display and will not disengage the parking brake until the battery charges up to about 35-40%. The dealer has looked at the car 4 times and found nothing as no codes ever registered. I even opened a case direct with Hyundai Consumer affairs and they can not seem to find anything wrong with the car nor do they think it is an Issue. I find this to be extremely unsafe for a vehicle to randomly lose power and refuse to come out of park regardless of where on the road you happen to be when this occurs. It has not happened since the temperatures have been above freezing, but with winter a few months away. I completely fear for my safety.

All electrical systems proceeded to malfunction with the check engine and driver safety system warnings blaring. Vehicle proceeded to accelerate from 10-40 mph on its own for approximately 400 meters on the freeway. Vehicle brake and acceleration system did not respond to any driver input for approximately the entire length. Vehicle then proceeded to respond normally temporarily allowing us to pull over to a nearby parking lot and engage the emergency parking brake and out the gear into park. Transmission gear indicator then proceeded to switch randomly from Drive to neutral to park and repeating with infotainment system glitching. After engine was shut off and given time it was restarted and vehicle operated normally. Vehicle is currently under diagnosis with service center (Huffines Hyundai McKinney).

I drive 2022 Hyundai Tucson hyrbrid limited. I have noticed a plastic cluttering noise coming from outside hood area on driver side. This noise is always there at highway speed only. Have already complained to dealership but they act like they are confused and can-??t figure out where exactly noise is coming from. Like me many people have complained about this same cluttering problem which nobody has figured out where exactly it-??s coming from. But the noise is loud and always there at highway speed. Only way to hide this noise is by playing loud music.
