Service transmission light and service parking brake came on vehicle gets stuck in neutral will not shift to park or drive when in drive will not shift into overdrive will run at 4,000 to 4,500 RPM at 60 MPH

The car goes into neutral while driving and loses power. Has happened more than 10 times. This has resulted in twice on the freeway and almost caused an accident. I have taken it in to be repaired and they stated it was a software issue.

The "Shift to Park" notification comes on and I have to pull over, shift to park and shift back into drive. This happens a few times and then goes away until the next time I fill gas.

While driving my car suddenly seems to lose power and stop and on my dash it says must placed for on break to shift into park. As I am driving down the highway or through an intersection I am not trying to put it in park and it has caused me to almost getting rex a few times. I find it very hard to believe when I enter my VIN on your site it shows no recalls for this vehicle but when I enter my VIN on mopar.com it shows about 4 recalls and three campaigns. My vehicle stalls while driving and it's unsafe for my kids. I got the issue 'repaired' and the car stalls even more, there is a huge thump in the engine when I switch gears from park to revers or park to drive. Yesterday when I went to turn my car on the start button got stuck and the car did not turn on, my husband replaced the battery and got the car on but now the car won't turn off.

The oil filter adapter module that has a cooling feature that has a 75,000 part shortage currently is faulty in my vehicle. Again, no one can get this part and it's currently at 75,000.

I have an oil leak and need to replace mopar part number 688105583af. However, this part is on back order without an in stock date (some websites are saying it's discontinued). Looking on ebay I see this part being sold for $200 above msrp with over 170 sold recently. No one can help me fix this issue since the part is back ordered without an in stock date. Furthermore, doing research on this part, the issue I have is extremely wide spread with 2014 - 2016 Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler and Ram models (that all use this part). A mechanic I called stated this was a widespread issue. Since the Jeep dealerships are not carrying this part and no mechanic can order it, I am stuck with a car leaking a good amount of oil.

There is a warning saying service shifter that stays lit up on my display at all times. I have had all of my recalls done but this warning light stays on and is a neusance. You can not see the digital speedometer nor anything digital for that matter. First noticed it a few weeks after I bought the car. As soon as you turn the car on the light just stays on. The recalls should have fixed this but it did not. Very beautiful car but having several issues with it that a lot of people are having same issues when researching the internet. Need this fixed asap. Cost too much money to have this many issues. Very disappointed and will issue a class action suite if no response. Also lift gate won't lock. But that's on another claim that I issued to you.

On two different occasions I have been in the process of driving the car down a city street when it has for no known reason shut off and become immediately inoperable. The first incident of this was in June 2020. I had the car towed to a mechanic where they could find nothing wrong. They changed the oil and replaced the battery but got no indication from the diagnostic report that anything was wrong. They suggested I take the vehicle to a mechanic that specializes in electronic issues. They found an issue in the steering column that they said may have been the problem. I had it repaired and thought it was fixed. This past Saturday (1/16/21) I was in the process of driving the vehicle down a city street when again, with no warning, the engine shut off. I had the car towed to a mechanic again and again, they can find nothing diagnostically wrong with the vehicle. I have documentation for these issues but it is in the glove compartment of the vehicle and it is at the mechanics. I can provide if needed.

I went to get my oil changed and was told and showed (in pictures taken by the attendant) that my vehicle has several oil leaks. The attendant also told me that it was a possibility that the vehicle could catch on fire because of the oil leaks. I was then asked if I had had any mechanical work done on my vehicle and I replied no since I hadn't had any work done other than maintenance. The manager then told me that I should be very angry and take my vehicle back to the dealership because it seemed like the engine and transmission were not put together properly which is why I have several oil leaks.

While either slowing to a stop or accelerating from a stop, the vehicle "jerks", or "lunges". though I apply the pedals smoothly (gradually), the car moves as if I were pumping the brake at ~1 second intervals. Because the car is in drive and my foot is not on the brake, this causes drivers behind me to get awfully close (as my brake lights do not signal that I am stopping). This happens chronically (>1X /week).

There is something wrong with the shifter. When I'm driving I get alerted that the vehicle is unable to shift gears unless in park and I'm unable to continue to drive. I have to stop the vehicle, turn it off and restart. A few minutes after driving the same thing happens all over again. Before this happened, a few months back the service shifter light came on but then went away.

Vehicle in motion after fueling. Every time I fill my tank, my Jeep starts bucking and sometimes none responsive, it also shuts off when I come to a standstill. With the engine running, I can floor the accelerator and the RPM stays the same. The behavior is only on a full tank, after 50 miles it stops. Dangerous as when I am in motion the Jeep stalls regardless of the speed I am going at.

This is my second complaint. I have had no feedback from my first complaint which bothers me since it a safety risk to me and my family. Recently I replaced the battery. I always let the car warm up before driving at the start of the day and have observed the car stall suddenly without warning. Fortunately I have avoided an accident from being rear ended by another vehicle. This happens every time and throughout the day. My service at the dealer is upto date and they have not indicated any issues. Please address this safety risk immediately.
