After filling the vehicle with gas it will hesitate and stall out while driving. It tells you to put the car in park and then you have to re crank it to shift back to drive. After the tank is about 3/4 full it stops stalling.

While driving Jeep Cherokee latitude I have noticed that within first 10 minutes of driving Jeep start getting flickering lights and then after 5-10 seconds completely shuts off. Absolutely out, I cannot even put an emergency lights on when it stops to indicate that I have problem. At first I thought it might be an old battery but I have replaced the battery few days ago and the problem started again. The worst is that while it happens, power steering and everything else completely shuts. This is very dangerous as I cannot pull on the site or as I said put emergency lights on.. one day I have disconnected the battery while the car stopped, for a minute or two. I guess that cut power from the Jeep's computer as well. After two minutes or so when I reconnected the battery again, I wanted to start the car. After a few cranks I could start the car. The situation I have just described is major safety issue. Yet, when I run recalls using the VIN # of my car I see no recalls. I have already contacted the Jeep dealer asking what could be the problem. They just told me that no recall is available. I would like to document this for others to be aware of the problem as well as document if there is going major incidents.

There is a noise when the wheels are turning, not when at a stop. Dealer said it is the bearings in the drive shaft. The whole drive shaft has to be replaced, not just the bearings.

Vehicle has intermittent issue while traveling 70+ miles an hour on the freeway tachometer jumps up and down and vehicle displays "shift to P then desired gear" vehicle has no ability to drive, you must pull off highway without any ability to use gas and put car into park. Also does this at intersections. I have a video of it doing it at the intersection (can not video going down highway as it is not safe). Opened two cases with Chrysler #[xxx] and #[xxx]. vehicle has been to two different Jeep service dealers for over 15 days and not repaired. Vehicle is going to kill someone when is does not have the ability to use the gas when it displays this on the screen. Chrysler needs to have service dealer start replacing parts to fix this issue. Both Jeep service dealers stated that no code came up on their computer, therefore they can not fix. Dealers in question: Autonation in roseville, ca 916 781 8100 and folsom Jeep 916 520 1135. Autonation in roseville along with Chrysler were provided the video. Autonation in roseville was specially told to contact Chrysler to work with a Chrysler technician to further troubleshoot the issue, they simply sent the video and told me that there is nothing more they can do. Filing this issue as a vehicle safety complaint to find resolve before it kills the driver and/or others on the highway. Issue happens as I have stated going down the highway at 70mph and at stops as well. I have video of it while at an intersection, but you will not allow video uploads. The service shifter light keeps coming on. I have had the shifter bezel and jumper harness replaced and 5 months later it is on again. Also, the car randomly dies while driving, seems to be a transmission issue. These are of great concern and unsafe. There is not a recall for either issue but I have read many many complaints regarding the same issues.

I was driving when the service shifter light started turning on. I would turn off the car and restart and it would go away. Then it started coming on more frequently and then it cut off while driving. The first time I was on the freeway, the second two times it cut off, I was on the street 35mph. It started back up about 5 minutes later. I took it to the dealership they said it cut off due to low oil and that they did not find any other codes. Guess what the car cut off again on my way home. This is so dangerous since it is cutting off while driving at full speed. I have seen so many complaints so there must be some type of fix. I am desperate for help at this time. I just need to know what to tell Jeep to fix. Please help, I am afraid I am going to get into a deadly accident.

I was driving on the freeway going 70 mph my car started beeping and said service transmission. Restart in park with vehicle speed at zero. Once is gave me that message it was as if my car went into neutral and it wouldn't let me speed up or anything no matter how much I pushed on the gas. I was in the middle lane and my speed kept decreasing and I almost got hit 3 times trying to get over to restart my car. Once I finally got over I had to turn my car off and restart it. I have had this happen more than once and I'm terrified I'm going to be in a horrible accident.

I was in an accident severe enough to total the vehicle but none of the many air bags deployed. I rear ended a vehicle on the freeway. I was just concerned since I am unaware what speed I was going at the point of impact. The front of my vehicle was pushed back toward the windsheild pretty far. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures. I just wanted to express my concerns. We did test the car and there aparently no failure of the air bag system, so maybe no problem.

I purchased my car on 10/1/19 with 98,000 miles. A few short days later my car started driving horrible. Shaking, bucking, jerking, hesitating to accelerate and shift and my engine light came on while driving, scanned it and was showing P0520 oil pressure sensor. That was replaced. Car was still driving the same and 3 days later while driving my engine light came on again, this time code P06dd. Brought my car to the mechanic where he had it 3 week. My oil pump was replaced with a new oem pump. The very next day while driving my engine light went on again, throwing the same code P06dd. Brought back to the dealer where my car was low 2 quarts of oil. Was told to bring it to Jeep for recall and diagnosis. Jeep has my car for 4 days, completed the recall but was unable to diagnose my car. Upon leaving the Jeep dealer my engine light came back on and now my car was stuck in safe mode and would not go over 60mph. I brought my car back to the dealer where I purchased it. They had my car for two weeks and replaced my engine. I picked my car up on 12/6/19 from the dealer I purchased from, who just replaced my engine. With a new engine, the car is still not driving right. It is still shaking, bucking, jerking, hesitating to accelerate, hesitating to shift out of all gears. I had my tires balanced 2 times.on 1/13/2020 my car while driving on the highway went into safe mode again. Not going over 60mph. This time no engine lights are on. I brought it back to the dealer I purchased from, they hooked up the computer..which showed no codes. It took my car out of safe mode but did not fix any of the problems I'm having. Today, 1/21/20 my car went back into safe mode while driving. Will not go over 60mph and there are no lights on the dash showing there is a problem. This car is not safe. I am a single mom with 2 kids and I will not jeopardize mine or their lives in this vehicle.

The radio reception has waxed and waned since I purchased the vehicle. I have another vehicle and the parallel reception between the 2 is not comparable....the 2014 Jeep is very poor in its ability to provide adequate radio information from even nearby stations. I'm not sure this is a safety issue...more of a quality issue for the manufacturer..also, a blatant misrepresentation by the sales people. I have not found a single person out of the approximately 100 people with Cherokee or Grand Cherokee who tell me their radios perform well. Help!

One month after purchasing this vehicle from a used dealership 'platinum pre-owned' on the carlisle pike in Pennsylvania. The gear shift needed to be serviced it shifted on its own almost causing an accident. Almost a year and a few months later I'm running into the same issue with the gear shifter. My vehicle notified me to service the gear shifter while I was driving once in park it wouldn't shift out of its position. I'm a very upset as I have children and this was just replaced with a brand new piece of equipment so I'm not understanding why this is happening. I've checked for recalls with my VIN and nothing has come up but, so I'm assuming it is a mistake.

My car starts and will drive then randomly turn off while I'm slowing down or waiting to turn. It shuts off the engine and battery light come on. I wait a few seconds and it starts right back up. It does it at least once a day but when I take it to the auto shop they can't identify any codes or anything that's wrong.
