problem #2

Cherokee Lattitude 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 23,320 miles

Bought Car brand new Aug 2015. Had tires rotated 3 times during this span, nitrogen air, and one tire was repaired for a leak a year in. Brought it in today for a typical oil change tire rotation and he tells me they can see exposed cords!!!!! on 2 of them. This is unacceptable!!!! I did notice the vibration you get with an unbalanced tire at about 60mph but now I wonder if this was caused by the severe wear. Mind you, this is a 2015 with 23,000 miles so you know we don't put many miles on per year. I will pursue Mopar on this issue to get some prorated money back but had to buy 4 new tires, and get wheel alignment . Have not got car back but will update this if I find this was more then just a bad set of tires.

Tires should not have worn out with only 38000 klm. Spent $40000 on new vehicle do not feel we should have been replacing tires this soon. Most of that driving was freeway driving.
