The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The contact stated that the lug nuts swole while driving. The failure prevented the tires from being changed, if needed. Jeff wyler eastgate auto mall (1117 oh-32, batavia, oh 45103, (513) 752-3447) replaced all of the lug nuts that were not swollen from driving use. The manufacturer stated that they were redesigning the lug nuts from one year to the next. The contact stated that there was currently no recall for the failure. The failure mileage was 57,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The contact was informed by the walmart tire center that the lug nuts were defective. The contact was informed that a 19 millimeter socket was used on a normal lug nut, but it did not grasp it properly. The next size up was too big due to the dust on the lug nuts. The contact called hillview motors (located at 5309 us-30 E, greensburg, pa 15601, (724) 858-4809) and notified them of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 85,000.
