I bought a 2021 Jeep Gladiator in May 2021. Drove for 2 weeks, then it showed a Check Engine Light. Took to the Renfrew Chrysler Dealership and left there on June 17, 2021 for a 10-14 day wait for replacement “melted wiring harnessâ€.
I received it back on Friday, August 6th at 3/4PM MST. Promptly hooked up my trailer and drive off at 7 pm.
I have driven it every day, and pulled the Trailer about 700KM (2 trips).
Today on August 23, 2021 at 1:15 pm as the odometer read 7777km, the Gladiator caught on fire at 80KM hour while southbound on Stoney Trail in Calgary, Alberta.
Complete write off of a vehicle, Do Not BUY Deathtraps from JEEP/FCA/Stellantis.
