There has been an open airbag recall, where the airbag could deploy without cause, since November 2015. Chrysler has yet to come out with a fix for it. We feel unsafe having our family in the vehicle until there is a fix. Six months should be more than enough time for them to have found a solution to the problem.

Takata recall. I received a November 25, 2015 recall notice. I have contacted my dealer multiple times and each time I am told the part is not available. We are now almost 5 months later and I called again today and still no part. I have two children that ride in this car daily and I am very uncomfortable knowing the airbag could deploy at anytime and endanger our lives. I do not understand why it is taking 5 plus months to have parts available and when I ask when to expect this to be resolved I am told they have no idea. This is unacceptable.
