Power lift gate will open and close by its self. I have had it looked at and the dealer said to report it as it-??s a known issue and no recalls have been issued yet for this year. Have not had a fire yet on this vehicle. But was told it was leaking around the power liftgate control module.

This vehicle has a nonstop history of unresolved electrical issues cause numerous warnings of failed systems, failure to start and randomly going into "Limp mode". It has been to the Jeep service shop 7 times so far. Recently, the vehicle completely shut down and lost all power while driving at speeds higher than 50 mph on 2 separate occasions. On February 2nd 2025 the vehicle lost power on the freeway at 80 mph. I swerved into the left shoulder to prevent an accident. vehicle was towed to Jeep service center, a software upgrade was performed and returned to me as presumed "fixed" by Jeep. On February 25, 2025 the vehicle again lost all power while driving down a highway at 50 mph. Again, forcing me to swerve off the road onto the right shoulder to avoid an accident. Vehicle again was towed to a Jeep service center where it remains.

While driving on the freeway, the vehicle turned off. No engine, no electric, no headlights. I had to coast to the side during traffic. The mechanic is replacing the OCR module, stating the car thought it was in a collision and turned off. Though obviously it wasn-??t. Before which, the screen flashes off from time to time. The car has had loss of power for a moment in the past but never all the way off. This was extremely dangerous and I-??m concerned the OCR will not fix the issue. It is with the dealership now.

I started getting random "service hybrid electrical system" warnings. The warning would come up and go away after approximately 5 seconds. On 2/5/25 I was on the highway going about 65mph when this warning light came on and I lost power. I still had power steering and brakes, but no acceleration. I was in the middle lane during rush hour, trying to coast over to the shoulder. Luckily I was able to make it without causing an accident. I put the vehicle in park and was able to restart. This happened a second time, but luckily I had just parked and was idling. Obviously, this is a very scary, dangerous situation for a vehicle to suddenly lose power anytime let alone when on a very busy highway. The vehicle is currently at the Jeep dealer, but I have read that this is a very common problem with the Jeep hybrids and does not sound like Jeep has figured out the root cause.

On 12/28/24 we dropped the vehicle off for a check engine light issue + the 95B recall fix. It was discharged on 12/31/24. On 1/9/25 the vehicle lost all power while flashing the red wrech lightning bolt symbol. I had to coast to a stop (I had been exiting the interstate) and had to drive into a pile of recently plowed snow to avoid being rear ended. The vehicle put on the parking brake and the engine had shut off. I turned on the engine after a few moments and it worked fine and I was able to drive it straight to the dealership (2 miles away.) They kept the vehicle for 2 days and could not get the issue to happen again, however they said they re-did the 95B recall and seemed confused about it having been done a few weeks prior. Today on 1/15/25 while driving on the interstate at about 65mph the issue happened again and I had to quickly pull off on the shoulder. The dealership told me to record the issue, but that's impossible while trying to steer it with zero power on the interstate. The same lights flashed (red wrench lightning bolt) and it shut down. Upon restarting it worked as expected. I do not feel safe driving it anymore. The dealership cannot find the issue and I don't want my kids in the vehicle on the off chance I cannot get over, or someone is driving offensivly around me. I am in fear of my life for driving this vehicle so much so that I am considering buying a different car today and letting this one sit until my lease is up. There are no other warning lights at this time on my panel. I will be taking the vehicle back to the service department this afternoon.

This recall has been active since September of this year. Every time I call the dealer they say they do not know when or if they will get parts in to fix this. This is a very serious safety recall especially with children. This also has prohibited me from plugging my car up to charge as this could increase the risk of it catching on fire. I would like to get a time frame of when this may be fixed or get a replacement car until then if possible. I understand it is the manufacturer and not the dealerships fault but its a serious matter that should have been fixed already.

My Jeep, when using adaptive cruise control, will occasionally apply emergency breaking when a vehicle passes alongside me in an adjacent lane in the same direction of travel. I-??ve had other cars directly behind me when this happens and it appears to other drivers like I-??m -??break checking-?? them. Usually it-??s triggered when the passing adjacent vehicle is a tractor trailer or a truck pulling a trailer. Furthermore, the actual early warning forward crash detection does not work at all. I have no warning lights alerting me of a malfunction.

Chrysler issued recall impacting PHEV. Vehicle is unsafe to drive, battery pack is prone to fire, risk is reduced if battery is not fully charged, but not eliminated. Contacted Jeep, no expected repair until Q1 of 2025. Jeep will not offer rental or loaner vehicle, leaving owners at risk for fire to personal and home. Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures, and not to recharge their vehicles until they are repaired. Dealers will update the high voltage battery pack software and replace the battery pack assembly, if necessary, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed October 11, 2024. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 95B. Vehicles in this recall that were previously recalled for the same issue under NHTSA Recall 23V-787 will need to have the new remedy performed.
