While driving to a doctors appointment on a city street, the straps that hold the fuel tank on failed due to corrosion and the fuel tank fell to the ground, dragging for a short distance before the tank failed, spilling about 18 gallons of gasoline onto the roadway.

Hello, our Jeep often or always had the airbag light warning on the dashboard. This was a concern of ours, and we had heard awhile back that there was a recall on Jeep Liberty airbag. When attempting to take it in for the recall fix, the company wanted an amount of money that we couldn't afford. Recently my mom was in a car wreck, destroying the vehicles entire front and making it unusable. She told me she only received burns and that she probably wouldv'E been ok if the damaged airbags were fixed. She mentioned to me she received burns on her arms that were the fault of the bad airbags that werent any good. She would be willing to explain this better than I can since I only know that much. Her hand this morning is now swollen from the injury. The vehicle was in a head on car collision with another person set to enter the freeway on a city street

My 2003 Jeep Liberty was recalled in 2015 because of an exploding gas tank problem. I took it to a dealership but they refused to fix the problem, saying that rust on the threads of the frame mounting holes prevented them from mounting a hitch to fix the problem. I asked them if they could thread a bigger hole, use a bolt and nut, or just weld the needed repair part on - they refused. I just this day took my Jeep to a different dealership to have a different recall repaired so I asked them to check Chrysler - Jeep records on my Jeep and they have it listed as satisfied for the exploding problem. This is not true, they refused to fix it even after several E-mails to them. Now I see that there are still problems with the Jeep exploding even after repairs have been made. How do I go about making this company do a proper repair on my Jeep?

After safety recall N46 &R06 Jeep didn't inspect the tank and there's gas leak, as it on the video https://youtu.be/U-67O4tnsjw. When they give me back my vehicle I had a lot of electrical issues like windows doesn't work and vehicle stopped on the road. This is very dangerous and they don't care. Vehicle is stationery because I'm afraid to fire like more than 50 people in my Jeep Liberty

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2003 Jeep Liberty. The dealer indicated that the vehicle was repaired according to NHTSA campaign number: 06V288000 (suspension) on August 1, 2016; however, the remedy did not prevent the failure. Years later, while turning right into a parking lot, the lower ball joint fractured on the driver side. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure. The contact was informed by the manufacturer to take the vehicle to the dealer for repairs where it was diagnosed that the driver side ball joint fractured and damaged the axle and the front driver side tire. The manufacturer refused to cover the repair. The contact was also unable to determine when the parts would become available to receive the repairs for NHTSA campaign numbers: 15V673000 (air bags and 13V252000 (fuel system, gasoline, structure). The vehicle was still at the dealer. The approximate failure mileage was 180,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

This is a complaint about fca's recall implementation. Fca simply does not get parts out to dealers to get the repairs done. I have been wanting to get the recall work completed on the car but the dealers do not have any parts to do the repairs. All the notices do not matter if the manufacturers do not get parts out to complete repairs. Fine them if they don't get parts out to do the repairs!!!!

I have attempted to submit my 2003 Jeep Liberty for recall repairs relating to recall N46 and R06 beginning more than a year ago to my two nearest Jeep dealerships; tate Jeep in frederick and century Jeep in mt. Airy, Maryland. When I inquire that I have received notices by mail instructing for recall repairs I am being ignored for service. Century Jeep placed me on a call-back list, but I was never contacted. When I called after 4-5 months I was told I am still on the waiting list. A year has gone by with no further contact. When I inquired of tate Jeep about recall repairs they will not respond back to me. I fought with century Jeep for about a year to have my airbag recall addressed. Frankly, I am tired of begging and pleading with my local Jeep dealerships to have recall work performed. I have been afraid every day I drive my Liberty of having the air bag explode in my face or my gas tank exploding from a rear end collision. Can you help prompt my dealerships to address these outstanding recalls. I continue to receive recall notices on a periodic basis informing me that my recalls have not been repaired, but the dealerships refuse to do anything. Century Jeep tells me that they do not have the recall repair parts in stock. They tell me that they only get a couple each month from Chrysler. How much longer do I have to drive this death trap? I appreciate any help you can provide me. Thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Took Jeep to al serra grand blanc mi to install trailer hitch per recall - said they could not install due to rust - yet Jeep has listed recall repair as completed even though no installation was done. Despite numerous calls to Jeep it is still listed as completed. I would like the recall to be shown as incomplete in their records. I believe this is a falsification of records.
