problem #2

Sep 062013

Patriot

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

The right side outer tie rod wore out. Not sure how this can be with this low miles on it and the vehicle never leaves the highway. I could understand this if this was used as an off road vehicle some. Again the local dealer didn't seem to really care!

Patriot Sport

  • CVT transmission
  • 38,000 miles

Took jeep into dealer for oil change, told them engine was making loud high pitched noise, they said transmission was covered under manufacture warranty, and had a broken tie rod. Took jeep back to dealer twice after repair with concern of jerking and pulling in the steering, they said I needed new tires? 2 months later my tire falls off!
