The contact owns a 2017 Lincoln Mkc. The contact stated while driving at 40 mph on a main road, a vehicle on the passenger side cut her off turning into her lane. As a result, the vehicle rear ended another vehicle on the main road. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed.the contact sustained bone bruises in her sternum and displaced ribs. The vehicle was not drivable and was towed to the contacts home. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer had been informed of failure and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 63,000.
