I have had a 2 similar situations as the others that complained about this problem. I was a full stop when the car suddenly jerked forward. It felt like we had been rear ended. But, there was no one behind me. Its a scary feeling. ;

When it happened I was sitting still at a light and I thought someone had hit me it lurched forward so hard, then I looked and no one was there. Made an appointment with my Dealer and took it to him. They looked at it and said they could not find anything.

I drove through Tampa at 60 mph and got off at Ybor City. I stopped at the bottom of the ramp, no problem. Drove about 6 blocks and stopped at a light. About 15 seconds after stopping the car lurched forward so hard I thought I had been hit from behind. Looked in the mirror and saw the Dodge Dakota was well behind me. I shut the car off and restarted it and drove through the intersection to the IKEA parking lot and checked just to make sure there was no damage to the rear end just in case. There was no damage. No problem all the way back home to Largo, but it really freaked me out.

I'm going to do more research. I did see that one other person reported the exact same thing, but his has done it 4 times. I hope I don't start having trouble with this car, I really like it!

Update from Feb 2, 2016: This has happened 2 more times. The car revs up really high and then BAM, this it was slammed into gear. It only seems to happen when I'm stopped at an intersection with the car in gear and my foot on the brake. I am being very conscious to make sure my foot is squarely on the brake and not on the accelerator and brake at the same time. I have big feet and that could be what's going on.
