I was at a stop sign then accelerated up to 40 km/h with the next stop sign about 200 feet away, being a T intersection where I would have to turn. As I depressed the brake pedal, I felt vibration similar to traction control and the vehicle kept accelerating. I pressed harder on the brake with no success, then shifted into neutral before I stopped in the middle of the intersection. Thankfully there were no other vehicles or pedestrians. My foot was not touching the gas also as the engire would have raced once in neutral, and I have no floor mats (lazyness after winter) to interfere with the brake pedal. Had it towed to the dealer and filed a vehicle defect complaint with Transport Canada immediately.
