In May 2019 I purchased a new 2019 Mercedes thinking that I would have many years of worry-free auto maintenance. Purchasing a Mercedes has been just the contrary whereby I regret purchasing such an expensive car.

Within two months of purchasing a new vehicle I had to return to the service department since the tires were constantly losing pressure. Upon servicing there was a hole in one of the tires which Mercedes repaired (did not replace). Thereafter for several months I had to refill the tires. Running a small business makes it impossible to travel 2 hours (roundtrip) and wait 4 or 5 hours for service.

However, I had no other choice but to return to the repair shop on January 16, 2020 in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, since the front two tires were losing its thread and new tires needed. This was noticed while rotating the tires.

Yesterday, after waiting 5 hours I was told that the car needed an alignment. Mercedes was charging me $125 for the service. Since I had brought the car previously and after spending so many hours at Mercedes, the least the company could have done was the alignment on the car providing and keeping a satisfied customer and/or offering the tires at a discounted price. It is unheard that a new car, less than 8 months old, approximately 11,000 miles should need new tires.

After speaking with the customer service and thereafter the manager, and expressing our dissatisfaction and our concern that an expensive vehicle with less than 8 months should not need new tires and not reaching a mutual agreement, we left dissatisfied and unhappy not only with the vehicle, but also with the service.

If we could return the vehicle without any consequences on our credit, we would. The car is not worth its value.
