Takata recall, I received a letter on July 2016 from Ford about a recall on my vehicle for the airbag. I have been waiting patiently to be notify that the parts are available. Also back in 2011, the summers were very hot. When I walked to my car after work.. I noticed the dashboard on the passenger side was bubbled up, down by the bottom half of where the airbag is. I took it to the dealership where I get my oil changes and other up keeps on the vehicle and they told me to contact Ford. Ford said to me that my car was no longer under warranty and there is nothing they can do. I took it to the dealership and they said, they could try to fix it but they couldn't guarantee that it would work. They said it would cost about $300 because they would have to take the glove box out and deactivate the airbag and cross are fingers that it holds once they basically glue it. Well, when I got this recall, it put me to thinking if this recall had anything to do with this bubbling up like it did. I take very good care of my vehicles and get pretty good trade-ins for them, now because of this manufacture defect or possibility having to do with the recall. The trade-in will be docked because of this defect that I had nothing to do with. People that ride on the passenger side ask me if the airbag will erupt while they are sitting there. I tell them, that I was informed that it probably wouldn't. (encouraging words, right). I'm sending you the letter I received about the recall back on July 2016, that I'm still waiting on and also pictures of my dashboard where the airbag is, . I know you will be surprised like me, when I walked to my car after work to see my dashboard bubbled up by the heat and airbag.

Takata recall nothing bad has happened yet, thank god! recall was June 2016 and they said they would notify me when parts are available to fix the issue. However it is now nearly a year later and I still have not heard anything, and on owner.Ford.com/tanaka it still says "status: 12 - recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available." I've been driving in fear any time I have a passenger in the front seat - knowing that if I get in an accident the airbag may explode sending metal fragments shooting into me and my passenger. How is it ok that this is left "remedy not yet available"" how is it ok to put customers in danger without fixing the issue for over a year? are there not rental cars that they can give me in the mean time? I'm tired of waiting, I'm about to move out of the state, and will be unable to receive the letter saying it is fixed. Who knows if I will ever receive a letter anyway" this is disgraceful and horrible and frightening. I will be seeking legal action unless this is fixed now.

Takata recall - received my notice from Ford in June of 2016 that my 2006 Mercury Milan has a defective air bag - recall # 16S26. To date I have not heard from Ford that replacement airbags are available for this recall. My local dealer tells me air bags are available for purchase, but Ford has not released any for the recall. At what point will nhsta do something to force Ford to complete this recall. If they have parts for sale - why aren't they being used for this recall? takata airbags can be lethal.

"takata recall" - received recall notice dated July 2016... but it stated that a 2nd notice/letter will be sent when parts become available and then can contact a dealer for repair... meanwhile, now whenever I turn the car on, the airbag light comes on that I have to turn the ignition off and on again, hoping the airbag light doesn't show... and the fear that this airbag will explode and can actually kill you is so stressful.. please please expedite these airbag replacement/repairs so they can be done sooner. It is now January 2017 and this is a daily occurrence.

Takata recall: I received a safety recall notice in July from Ford Motor Company informing me of seatbelt issue affecting my vehicle. According to local Lincoln//Mercury/Ford dealer, parts not yet available six months after receiving notice. Since this is a safety concern of grave consequences, I am reluctant to use the vehicle. Since it is an older vehicle located in the southern region, when might I expect the part(s) to be available?

Throttle defect -loss of power/acceleration - and - takata airbag recall. Vehicle had not been driven more than 1-2 miles, and has been parked since may due to previous airbag warning and subsequent recall. Upon starting the vehicle on 10/23/16 to move it to wash it, the vehicle exhibited extremely limited acceleration and loss of power regarding acceleration, & then sudden acceleration. Car was parked along the curb, and when started, the orange wrench light came on. Upon attempting to drive it, the vehicle experienced extremely limited power/acceleration. It took a considerable distance to reach 30 mph. Upon reaching this speed on the highway, the vehicle accelerated very rapidly. Returned vehicle home and parked it immediately. Additionally, we received the takata airbag recall letter nearly 5 months ago, and there are still no parts available. Vehicle has less than 91, 000 miles.
