A warning light appears and anti-lock brakes do not function. this is the second time for this same defect. The first time was as approximatley 40000 miles and now jusd past 80000 miles. The parts for repair are unavailable thru dealer and they said it probably be December before they got parts in. I now have no anit-lock brakes and no cruise control. It seems the cruise control circuit is with the anti-lock brakes circuit. This seems to me to be a real safety issure with all of these Ram 2500 trucks. The dealer knows all about it but cannot help.

The ABS (anti-lock braking system) and EBS (electronic braking system) failed in the fall of 2023. I was told by the dealer that a new part could be ordered on 21-FEB-24. On 21-FEB-24, a new bulletin was released that indicated a new part could be ordered in JUN-24. This is ridiculous. When are you guys going to do something" How many near accidents, near accidents, etc. is required for you guys to rain on the Stellantis parade? These trucks are dangerous and they have been out of reliable service going on a year. Are you going to force Stellantis to compensate owners for the loss of their truck for close to a year or do you view this as BAU" I have to say I am completely disgusted by the apparent inability of Stellantis to properly resolve this issue. I am also disgusted that you guys have done nothing.

My truck had warning lights come on in December 2023 saying to service the anti-lock braking system and the electronic brakes. I took it to a mechanic and I was told that the part would take at least 45 days to get. Now we're being told it will take 3 months to get because it is impossible to find. After researching this online, it is a nationwide problem for many Dodge Ram owners. These vehicles are out on the road needing this part to keep their brake systems from failing and it is impossible to get.

The ABS service light keeps coming on and beeping. It will go off after a little while but then returns intermittantly while driving. Apparently this is a known problem and should be a recall. Many owners are wasting thousands of dollars for repairs that should be covered by a recall.

The component or system that is failing or malfunction is the ABS Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) and ABS module. The malfunction is turning off my ABS and TCS system, making the vehicle unsafe to drive. Also the ABS and TCS dash lights are constantly dinging and going off and on distracting me while I'm driving. This issue is well know with the dealer. Here is a TBS from 2020: RAM TSB S2005000004 The vehicle has been inspected and and the ABS module was already replaced, but didn't fix the issue. This has been happening since I bought the truck.

My ABS light has started to flash off and on and states that I need to ring it in for service. my truck has just under 38k miles and when I first bought my truck I had to have the master cylinder replaced. The dealer quoted 1200 dollars to fix the ABS issue by replacing the HCU, and stated they are the only ones that can complete the repair. I see there there is a service bulletin related to this issue and when looking online this appears to be a large widespread issue.

My truck has right at 80,000 miles. Every so often I get two dash lights. One is ABS service and anti skid warning. They randomly show up. They pop up very quickly then go away. But it happens non stop. I have done some research and it seems that there is thousands of people with the same truck and year model with this same issue. I went to the dealer in Seguin, Tx and they told me that there was really nothing I could do to fix the issue, unless I wanted to wait eight months. But the new part rarely last. They flat out told me to not follow any one too close because hard braking could fail without anti skid working properly. RAM needs to make this right. I can-??t believe that there has been this many people complain about a serious safety concern and nothing has been done.

For over a year and a half I have been without my ABS system due to FCA installing faulty ABS modules and hydraulic units in the 2017-2018 Ram 2500's and 3500's. The same units were installed in the 2019-2021 Ram 2500, 3500 but FCA recalled those models. I am also without cruise control as well. FCA has even put out a technical service bulletin about this and still has not resolved this issue.

My 2018 RAM 2500 pickup displays these messages "Service Electronic Braking System" and "Service ABS Braking System". The cruise control and the Electronic stabilization system stop working when the messages displays. I am afraid to drive the truck as no ABS or electronic braking makes the truck unsafe to dive. The dealer says the HCU needs to be replaced but the replacement is being redesigned and is not ready. The truck has been parked for over a year. Why hasn't there been a recall on this issue? The truck is unsafe to drive.

I keep getting an Electronic Brake Service message and ABS message that randomly starts dinging and popping up on my display that also disables my cruise control. This obviously is a known issue and I would like to know what is being done to correct this. I have read several and seen over 3000 reports of this problem so why is it not being addressed to make our vehicles safer when it is a known fault. We travel with our camper and travel baseball all summer long and this is not acceptable when it comes to my family or the safety of others on the road around me.

The ABS module and Hydraulic control unit are faulty causing an intermittent activation of the ABS warning light and Electronic Braking warning lights. When the lights come on the cruise control will disengage, if set, and cannot be reset until the light goes out. The length of time the lights stay on vary from a few seconds to a few hours, to always on. When in park the light can be made to go off if the brake pedal is pressed excessively hard. There is an ABS error code stored which is C0020-01 This is a known problem with Chrysler as they have produced TSB #[XXX] for this issue. This is a known faulty part that could cause an accident due to ABS malfunction. I feel Chrysler should be forced to remedy this issue for all 2017 and 2018 Ram owners since it is a safety issue. My vehicle is a 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman with less than 33000 miles. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

2018 Ram 2500 has ABS and traction control light always on. Will sometimes go off and then come back on. I contacted the dealer yesterday [XXX] at Mcpeek in Anaheim, Ca and they told me opart is on back order. No recall. This is dangerous and I do not know if it will affect brakes and traction when I haul different trailers. Ram manufacturer should take care of this issue. Dealer also advised me they have been getting many complaints regarding this dangerous problem. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

ABS and traction control systems are inoperable. Dealer diagnosis in December of 2022, says ABS control module and Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU), are bad. Ram has failed to supply functional parts to affect the repair. It has been 14 months awaiting parts and Ram/Stellantis has no proposed date for when the parts will be available. I'm scared to death to tow anything (especially on wet pavement) without properly operating brake controls. This is dangerous condition and NHTSA should do something about it.

Over the last several months my 2018 Ram 2500 is experiencing intermittent service abs traction control system issue. The lights on the dashboard will go on and off and it will "ding" when it does. I am very concerned from a safety stand point as I know this system is supposed to help with braking in an emergency and assist with keeping the vehicle under control in adverse road conditions. The truck only has 35,700 miles on it now. I have taken it to the dealership and they are not able to read any trouble codes. Thank you for any assistance with getting this corrected. Ram needs to recall this issue as I have done some research and have found this to be a very common problem with this year make and model vehicle.
