I've recently bought this car and the brake lights keep illuminating when not pressed and has destroyed two brand new sets of rotors in less than 3 months due to hot spots and stress fractures. I have noticed it happens all the time whether I'm doing city or country driving. Also the third brake light will fail to light up some of the times whenever I'm only pressing the accelerator but it will refuse to light up when the brake pedal is pressed when this is happening.

Since the car was repurchased from another buy the car has had electrical issues with it. It blows a fuse constantly causing the rear taillights not to work when the fuse is then replaced it last a day or so then blows again. This C not in nuesbto happen even after replace the taillights with new ones. We replaced the entire thing not just the bulbs. The headlights even though we have had attempted to replace them the driver side headlight continues to come on and go off as if it's got a short in it some where. The battery has a short some where I think. At times after driving it we go to shut it off and we'll go in the store and come and the car won't start. We have had to wait 2-3 hours before it would start up again. So since we live in the desert it being hot we started checking things. When the battery is lifted up on or my bed around the car will then attempt to start but it just makes the noise like it is trying to crank over and there's been multiple times that the ignition has attempted to start itself while messing with the battery. And the ignition gets stuck. Soon as we let go of the battery it stops trying to do anything. We have replaced the starter the battery and other things and nothing's works to fix it. Also the door locks like to engage and disengage randomly on their own as if the car is haunted. Causing us to disconnect them all together.

Service ESC warning light will come on randomly causing the brake lights to illuminate without pushing the brakes. Brake lights will sometimes turn off when the brake pedal is depressed. This has been the subject of a recall and has been in for the recall twice but still having issues. The transmission can be moved from park without depressing the brake pedal. The lights will malfunction while driving.

The Saturn Aura has repeatedly had door lock switches go out, each time the front head light is replaced, it blows out again, the lights inside the car dim randomly. The traction control/ABS lights are disabled on the car constantly despite replacing the ECM, upper and lower intake gaskets, coolant flushing, and other cleared codes. The car jerks and jolts when slowing down, parking, starting, and changing gears. It violently pushes the car. The engine light and tire pressure lights also remain constant despite consistent work on the car. Four different dealerships (including a Chevrolet dealership) have been unable to fix the issues with the car. The car also engaged low power mode and almost caused numerous accidents because the car stopped being able to accelerate while on the road.

Also when I first get in my vehicle when I press my brake pedal it gets stuck and it makes it hard to put my car in gear. I need this checked almost immediately. This is my second time filing a claim. The first one was not looked at.

Takata recall- I have a 2007 Saturn Aura and I am having problems with my brake lights. They are constantly on. I have had the brake sensors replaced and same outcome. I even had the brake switch replaced. While I am driving my brake lights are on and when I use the brakes the brake light goes off. Have almost been rear ended quite a few times.

While driving approximately 45 mph and turning into a parking lot, the contact was informed by another motorist that the brake lights were illuminated for approximately three miles. However, when the vehicle was stopped and the brake pedal was depressed, the brake lights were not illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to the dealer and they could not duplicate the failure. The vehicle was repaired per an unknown recall for the same failure in September of 2014. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The VIN was invalid. The approximate failure mileage was 77,054. Updated 08/30/16 the consumer went to another dealer, where the problem was fixed. Updated 10/26/16.

Takata recall the ECM light was on the brake lights stay on when car is on and when applying the brakes the brake lights go out. It his difficult to move the shifter from park to another gear. I have this car for 2 years and every time I check there is no recall on my car. The air bag light on passenger side comes and goes all the time.

Vehicle power door locks do not operate unless the car is being shifted in or out of park nor does the key fob work. Vehicle was taken to GM dealer and I was told they could not find a verifiable issue with the door locks. I have been locked out of the vehicle several time because there have been moments that the doors lock on their own. The dash lights also dim on their own and the chime no longer sounds when the doors are opened.
