Our 2019 Ascent had been great, no issues, and it's fun to drive until the battery started to act up. It started two days ago, so I got a jump and drove around. It was fine for a couple of days until again it needed to get a jump. I don't understand why, if Subaru has known the issue since 2014, they still have underpowered batteries running the car. With so many electrical components, you'd think it would be almost obvious it would need a more powerful and capable battery and electrical system. We were wowed by Subaru at first, since this is our first Subaru, but the honeymoon phase is starting to end as issues like these come up. My other non-Subaru car has been around since 2014 and has gone through only 1 battery change and no other major issues with 120,000 miles under the hood. Might stick with them instead.
