Actually my 2020 Forester has never steered correctly from the day we picked it up. We have had the car from new & it only has 4050 miles after 2.5 years.
The problem is this: when driving on a straight road, the car will go in whatever direction it is going when you let the steering wheel go. The car should straighten out & follow the road. I should not need to keep correcting it to bring it back straight.
Maybe the problem is alignment or the fact that it has all wheel drive or electronic power steering. Even when the car is set to steer itself between the lines on the road, it is continuously correcting to stay straight.
I like the Forester but really hate the way it steers. I am hoping when I take it for my second oil change and have it aligned the problem will be better or fixed! If not, a Mazda CX-5 looks like a good replacement!
