On 10/19/2012, the windshield molding on the upper driver side was separating from the glass and was cracking in other areas. The molding was inspected by local Toyota dealerships and they questioned the installation of the windshield. It was explained the car has one owner and the windshield had not been damaged or replaced. I was told I could have it repaired for $400 or come back when I experience leaking. I was not satisfied with either answer especially since the Toyota plant, located in Kentucky, incorrectly installed the windshield and now I am being told I have to pay for the botched installation. After researching recent tsbs, I found the 09-12 Tacoma's were experiencing the same issues I have on my car. The tsb 0062-12 states the incorrect installation of the windshield/windshield molding was causing wind noise and the remedy was to replace the windshield/windshield molding. Although the tsb specifies wind noise as a minor nuisance, the defect has the potential to affect the integrity of the windshield as well as other electrical components due to the faulty molding. I am requesting the tsb be expanded to cover Camry exhibiting the same symptoms and make dealers responsible for correcting the defect.

I was involved in a wreck where I was traveling roughly 5 miles per hour. The airbags did not deploy. It was a front side impact and my car was totaled. Bent the frame, crunched the front part of the body (hood and side walls), blew the transmission, radiator, ac system, and much more. I still have pictures of the accident of my vehicle. Because of the impact on the car I got slammed into the steering wheel and dashboard. I have permanent knee damage that could not get repaired due to lack of insurance because I'm a student.

Air comes in thru the back, around the back seats. The dealership at Toyota irvine, in orange county, California, checked it out twice but couldn't find anything. This dealership didn't want to check it out again. So we're stuck with the air coming in when going above 60 mph.
