Two issues: Radio controls fail; usually when outside temps near/above 100F. Touching any control turns off radio, spits out cd. Causes me to Focus on radio instead of driving. Dealer no help. Seen the problem listed by others online Inc. Youtube video of the radio acting up. 2nd issue: Just had to replace water pump, approx. 150,000 miles. Appears there was some sort of recall but I did not receive any notice. Replaced 7/16/16

1. weather stripping will not stay on driver door 2. cd player of radio system was throwing out the 6 cd's as driving- replaced stereo. 3. under 70,000 miles- cv joint went out - replaced. Prior to replacement loud clunking sounds and steering difficult- other owners same issues I am reading. Needs recalled 4. appx 77.000 miles no warning alternator went out and was extremely hot and smelly-replaced. 5. appx 78,000 miles between 25-35 mph transmission keeps slipping. I was driving down a street and once on interstate it hit the other gear hard/clunked- Toyota dealer called Toyota and they said replace transmission. Currently in the shop. Called Toyota and filed a case- they respectively understand my concern, however, they did not seem concerned of the safety hazard of this issue and probability of this issue causing a death. I have friend same issue and I have read about this same issue on the internet. There needs to be a recall. Luckily it did not go out on me driving on the interstate going 70mpg. Scared of the vehicle and distrust competency of Toyota. Are they unwilling to admit the transmission problem is a safety issue? needs recalled or investigated please help the consumer. I am worried about others safety.

The car battery keeps dying on this vehicle even though the battery has been replaced and checked multiple times. The dealer claims a ground cable on the underside is corroded and "fixed" it- but the problem still occurs. My guess is this is a design defect. It's scary to drive a car that might leave you stranded every time you turn it off. This has been ongoing for the past 6 months.

When applying the brakes, my car will rev up. Especially when I'm going down hill. Another concern is that my car will make a 2-3 second rattling noise upon starting up. It only makes this noise once in a while and it is coming from the engine. Another issue I'm having is the car's check engine light, track light and vsc off light coming on simultaneously on any rainy day and staying on for several days after it has stopped raining. I avoid driving at fast speeds when its rainy because obviously the car is very unstable. My driver side window wont open or close and very cold days and other days it makes a weird noise. I just bought this car used and it has about 79K miles on it.

Horn failed to honk when needed. It did not work while vehicle was in motion on a highway, it did not work on a city street, it did not work parked in my driveway. The wire became separated and there was a void, the wire cover stayed intact until I removed the connector from the horn. I had to connect a new wire from the existing wire and reconnect to the horn. All is fine now.

I'm not 100% sure if the master switch window is part of the recall but my master switch was smoking and I felt like if I continued driving earlier it felt like my car was on fire. I could've lost control because my switch was literally smoking non stop. I was at the traffic light when it happened, luckily I was on the first line, I accidentally hit the window switch with my elbow and it started to smoke. I wasn't feeling safe so I called my insurance and I asked for a tow truck to bring my car to S nearest Toyota dealer, I kept asking Toyota dealer if this was part of the recall but they cannot answer me. I don't feel safe driving Toyota because of this. I might switch my car with some other brands of I keep getting this kind of incident.

My son received his car today that was shipped to him from maui to portsmouth, va. As he was driving back to base his passenger side mirror fell off. The inside was melted. I have pictures of the mirror. This is a fire hazard. I contacted Toyota via email about the incident. This car was purchased new and has only had routine maintenance. There is either a faulty connection or faulty part that caused this. I now worry that the car may catch fire.

The car seems to increase in speed even when applying the brakes. The electrical system is not functioning properly. The digital display radio seldom works, the anti skid control does not activate, the lights, both inside and out blink on and off, including headlights at night. The ac and heating unit cuts on and off. It seems as if the entire electrical system in the car is in need of repair.

I was driving my car down the highway going about 60mph and all of a sudden lost all engine power, with no warning, stutter, jolt or any sort of noise. I managed to coast to the shoulder but could not get my car to turn over and had to tow it away. Obd code reader would not connect with on board computer. When cranking the engine there was no spark to the coils.

About a week ago my passenger side window wouldn't roll up. Today, I stopped my car at a rest stop and my driver side door started smoking. The wafted up through the windows and the window controlled button. I had to turn the car off because it was getting out of control. I turned the car off. Waited. Turned it back on and the smoke came out instantly. Toyota has had a recall on their Camry with the same problem. Corollas need to be added to the list. I'm suck in another state with a car that can catch on fire at any minute it seems.
