several weeks After I took my vehicle into the local dealership for the PWMS assembly window panel control switch problem, I realized my door panel and the switch area was loose. I mentioned this after a couple weeks when I really noticed the Window Master Switch mechanism was dropping downward under the panel cover. The dealership did not take me seriously, so it continued to get worse. I should have taken the car back and insisted they fix it. As of today, I cannot use my Key for power entry, i must manually use the key in the door. The power on the windows still works, but the whole master switch assembly is precariously hanging there in the door and the panel that went on top was damaged when they replaced it so now its broken off in pieces and cannot even be used. I am SO unhappy with this dealership, for the many times I have taken my car in for service. I do not want to go back to them at all after the horribly shoddy job they did with the Master Switch and their lack of concern when I told them they put my door back together poorly. Is the work guaranteed, particularly when it's been this long since I took my car in for this recall fix" I take care of my car which at its age only has 38,000 miles on it. I do not want to take it to the same dealership and unfortunately there's not another one close by. Can you help me by demanding a dealership fix my problem before I actually have a fire due to the unprofessional manner in which the dealership handled my recall fix" I wish I had ignored the recall because my car was better off before I took it in.

my car had issues completely shutting down on me while I was driving which was very dangerous my abs light and steering light would come on each time it shuts down and I wasn-??t able to use my power locks lights I couldn-??t move it out of park or nothing those were the only two lights the was still able to start up just couldn-??t move or use any buttons my keypad wasn-??t working so that indicated that it was an electrical issue so I thought it was my battery even though the light wasn-??t on for the battery I had my battery tested and the code came back and said I needed an alternator so I had my alternator tested and it works perfectly fine so then I checked the fuse box and it was burned up so that was my whole issue

The contact owns a 2010 Toyota Corolla. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the steering wheel was making abnormal sounds and also vibrating. The contact stated that upon depressing the brake pedal gradually, the steering wheel and brake pedal would vibrate. Additionally, the contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring while driving. The contact stated that the traction control warning light would illuminate intermittently and would cause the vehicle to shut off inadvertently. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where all four ignition coils were replaced. Airbags icon on passengers side appear as off as well as driver side on panel appears as not working, I have to shut off and on the vehicle for it to go away or reset, from time to time it occurs - it just started happening about a month or so ago it was working fine - now every now and then the airbags malfunction and appear as off on the panels and vehicle has to be turned off and on for the off button/ function to be reset. Also lock button on driver side does not lock with the remote control... it has to be manually locked for the vehicle to be closed and alarm to be activated.

When I am driving my 2010 Toyota Corolla S on the highway at speeds of over 50 mph it does not stay straight. It requires alot of strength to keep it straight. It feels like the car is being moved to the right or left by winds. Feels very unsafe to drive. The steering wheel is so stiff to turn sometimes. I have done the wheel alignment several times and put on new tires recently but the problem still remains. Very unsafe to drive and I get very tired after driving at highway speeds just maintaining in my own lane. The dealer's are not much helpful at all with this. I've read online alot of people having problems with this make and model with the steering. There needs to be an investigation on this soon because it's very dangerous to drive.

Since obtaining the vehicle in 2009 brand new, upon breaking gradually, it surges forward slightly when it feels like it should slow down. I have brought this issue up to my local Toyota dealership who denied any such inconsistencies. Also, there have been electrical issues for the past few years when turning on the radio; after pushing any button at any time, it will randomly change the display to nonsense characters or become blank.

Car would start then driving at 10mph the car stalls and the dash lights illuminate the dashboard. Put the car in park and restart with no problem but if somebody was behind me it would've caused an accident. Last week car did the same thing except I the car was in motion towards an intersection from idle and had to quickly put it in park and restart it and move it before I would've been involved in a deadly accident.

Nothing yet but these recalls, one for the electric window master switch, well over a year old, and the other for the passenger side airbag, where I'm cautioned to not have passengers in that front seat, which is really inconvenient and means I don't have full use of my own automobile, has been out long enough that a fix is long overdue. Why the delay and why does the government do nothing for consumers who paid for these cars but with some not insignificant defects. I would like my car fixed, both the master switch for the windows and the passenger side airbag that could fail to deploy.

Takata recall for almost eight months my car horn has not been working. I cannot inspect it without the car horn working! no one will touch it! it's like my car has a disease and no one wants to be corrupted or something. I saw on a tv program called fraud squad about how when a airbag is deployed some components in and around the airbag are affected to the point of failure. I've only had the car two years and the most important thing, the inspection/registration sticker cannot be had! I feel very much let down by the dealership I acquired this car from. I got it from fort bend Toyota in rosenberg. It's gonna take me many years to pay this car paid off and already I may have to jury rig it and void every warranty ever. My warranty went out, they asked me to re-up it, I didn't, and boom, I'm screwed! where can I go to get help with this? I am lucky I have not been ticketed yet. Updated 01/25/2017
