I have been on Toyota recall list for two years and every time I get another card about recall, I call dealership and they put me on a wait list. As part is not available or supply and demand. Unacceptable and now it seems there is also a loud squealing noise and the gas pedal will rev and accelerate and jerk forward on its on while I just barely got foot of brake. And then it will accelerate until I put foot on gas and it will jerk forward trying to accerlelerate and then I get control

I ran into a light pole in a parking lot on January 13, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri. I was driving approximately 15 mph, making a turn into pharmacy pickup lane behind the cvs store. The driver airbag deployed. I suffered 8 fractured ribs and numerous lacerations. I spent 4 days in the hospital, and @ 3 weeks in rehab. I lost approximately 4 weeks of work. I still have scars and necrotic bumps on my chest wall. Vehicle was a total loss. As far as I know it's in the landfill. I am begging only for no more recall notices to be sent to me.

"takata recall" we received our recall notice letter and immediately contacted our local authorised Toyota in rhinelander wi and were told it would take a few weeks for the replacement parts to arrive. After not hearing from them in that time we phoned again, and after once again giving our VIN and information, we were told who ever took the call had not submitted the order. So once again we are told it's on backorder and they will contact us when it comes in so they can set up a appointment time to fix it. The recall notice recommended not having a occupant in the front passenger seat. We should be provided with a safe vehicle by Toyota to use with the length of time this is taking until this is fixed.

Takata recall. I have received multiple letters from Toyota re: Air bag recall over months and months time. I have called two dealers in the indianapolis area and the parts are still not available. As this is a safety issue, it seems that there should be more urgency by the car manufacturer in getting the problem fixed. I have been advised not to have a front seat passenger, but this advice after such a long time of knowing there is a problem, is unsatisfactory.

Takata recall the NHTSA is aware of this recall but may not appreciate the full impact on the owner of the car. I feel unsafe driving it due to this recall but there is no remedy. I can't get it fixed. When I went to the dealer and asked when remedy is available no one knows. So I said fine let me trade it in and buy a new car. However, since there is a recall the dealer said he couldn't offer full trade in price because he would be unable to sell it until the remedy is made. So I don't feel safe driving it and I can't sell it without a loss in value. Neither are my fault. Takata has me stuck in a very poor position and I am disappointed with Toyota's response

Takata recall nothing has happened yet, but there is a recall going on with my airbags (shrapnel from airbags), that has not been addressed in over 1 year. I still own this car and use it everyday, and I and my passengers are put at risk every time, specifically if the airbags were to deploy. Toyota has not done anything about it except to send a letter that it will be remedied soon which was sent 1 year ago. Additionally, I received a auto airbag settlement notice, but am not eligible because I still own the car! this is ridiculous. Toyota needs to prioritize by owners of vehicles that can currently still receive injury or death first over those that had previously owned/leased the car and were therefore only potentially at risk. Toyota is putting my life, and my passengers' lives at risk, every day, and they do nothing about it. Nothing has happened yet, but why am I being put at risk for something that is not my fault, and should be remedied by the seller as I am the consumer" why should this even be about something that has happened, why isn't it about prevention and not having to be fearful that every time I drive my car, that if I get into an accident that I and any of my passengers may die because shrapnel will deploy from the very same airbags that were meant to keep us safe"

"takata recall" I'm not making a complaint because they exploded, yet...although, I have been notified that they could explode, so essentially, this makes my vehicle inoperable since notification and makes me ineligible to work using my vehicle. Furthermore, according to the manufacturers notes: It is suggested that I file a complaint with the NHTSA. Per : if the manufacturer has failed or is unable to remedy this safety recall for your vehicle in a timely manner, please contact the NHTSA vehicle safety hotline at: 1-888-327-4236 or tty: 1-800-424-9153 or file an online complaint with NHTSA.

Takata recall. Toyota sent me arecall letter at the beginning of the year 2017 saying they had no fix and I shouldn't use passenger front seat. When I didn't hear from them again for several months I called their customer service and was told there was no fix for my car until December 2017. Any Toyota dealer would give me a free rental car. When I called the dealer I was told I would have to leave my car at the dealership and it would be parked outside with no shelter. I live in phoenix AZ and I know what the sun does to paint, tires, and even interior of cars. So that is an unacceptable offer. Since I really need full use of my car I called customer service again today, August 16, 2017. They still do not offer an acceptable solution. The recall letter stated that I could file a complaint with the htsa if I felt Toyota is unable to remedy the defect within a resonable time.

Takata recall--I received a front passenger airbag inflator notice back in August 2016 and called immediately to have this repaired. Beaman Pontiac said they would call when the part was in. I called back in January of 2017 and they said the part was still not in. Today 8/16/17 the part is still not in. This is unacceptable. In January they gave me a rental and I still have it. I would like my car back. But I don't want the liability of someone riding in my car or me in it with my husband driving being killed and Toyota not responsible since I received this notice.

Takata recall. Toyota has repeatedly assured us that the new airbag parts will be ready in "one month". Toyota has been saying this for the past 5 months leaving us with a car that is unsafe to drive and we are unable to sell. Toyota's best advice was to not drive the car and come in for a rental while we wait, they have been out of rentals for the entire time we've been waiting. I understand most of this is takata's fault but Toyota has done a terrible job keeping us informed and is allowing my family to drive a potential death trap covered in their badges.
