Prius Prime

  • miles
Manufacture has been unable to repair the Toyota safety sense P (tss-P) on my new vehicle. Windshield was cracked by rock on freeway so took car to local dealership, manhattan beach Toyota on July 28, 2017 to be replaced. Due to new windshield, the tss-P system had to be recalibrate (Toyota's active safety system that is on all Prius primes') received call on Aug. 10, 2017 that dealership couldn't repair system and we needed to pick car up. Call the Toyota corporate office to get assistance and they have been working with manhattan beach Toyota to get them to fix car. As of today, Sept. 2, 2017 still no car. I have had one call from the local dealership to discuss problem and they reported they have had limited training on how to reset the tss-P system. Manufacture is selling cars to the public with a safety system that dealers don't know how to repair" I am very concerned that Toyota has had our car for 35 days and still cannot reprogram the system. What does that say about their safety system and their commitment to make sure it is reliable to the public"
