I just had the coolant flushed in my 2020 rav4 hybrid this morning during a standard service appointment. On the way back to work my engine acceleration was lagging badly when my speed was around 35 mph. I went back to the dealership-the issue didn’t reoccur on the way there and subsequent diagnostic tests showed no issues. While driving home later in the day, the engine was hesitating when I was driving around 75 mph. I have almost 66,000 miles on the vehicle. I experienced some slight hesitations last summer in the late afternoon on the way home from work but thought maybe it was because I was running the air conditioner on high (I live in the South). That happened 3 or 4 times and wasn’t nearly as bad as what happened today. Anyone else had this happen and know what’s causing it? I’m not sure I trust the dealership’s service department and don’t want to spend a ton of money for them to tell me they have no idea why it’s happening.
