- 2025 Toyota Camry: weather stripping separating at the top (1 complaints) Slight gap discovered at the top of the windshield dead center. Can't tell if it's the weather stripping separating, or an issue with the windshield or an issue with the roof that's the problem. read more »
- 2018 Toyota Camry: transmission failure (8 complaints) Started hearing whining noise most noticeably at lower speed coming from the engine bay and frequent hard shifting and jerking. - 2017 Hyundai Sonata: engine failure (5 complaints) Add another engine failure to the list. Engine failed at only 167,000 km (104,000 miles) despite extremely meticulous oil change intervals (6-7k km) and religiously-followed overall maintenance. The car never gave me a problem and drove very well until I had noticed low oil levels/dark oil in between oil changes starting around 130,000 km. - 2024 Mazda CX-30: battery died (1 complaints) 2 year 7 month old original battery dead. 2024 Mazda CX-30 with original battery had to be replaced at 2 years 7 months of ownership. Engine was barely turning over, iactivesense disabled high beam control disabled, camera malfunction. read more »

- 2022 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid: car was overheating and white smoke was coming from exhaust (1 complaints) I purchased the car used from a reputable car dealer with many years in the business. We had the car less than a month when I noticed smoke coming from the exhaust. At first, I thought I was seeing things but after we took the car on a long trip it overheated on the highway. We let it cool down then drove it to a parts place so we could check out what was happening. - 2022 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid: unknown exhaust leak (1 complaints) The exhaust leak started to be noticeable when we started the car from cold. We thought we heard a rumbling sound but after the car ran briefly it disappeared. It has slowly gotten louder to the point where we need it checked out. I priced out some of the exhaust pipes and online it was showing prices of $1000 - $1500 per part which is outrageous. - 2025 Hyundai Sonata: battery (1 complaints) I bought a new 2025 Hyundai Sonata expecting a reliable car. Instead, I’ve had repeated battery problems, a tow, a battery replacement, and weeks without my vehicle. I still don’t have a clear explanation for what is causing the battery to discharge. - 2025 Toyota Tundra: brakes vibrating when braking at high speeds (1 complaints) On 8/26/26 was taken to the Toyota dealer to check out the problem of front brakes and steering wheel vibrating badly. The vehicle only had 11000miles on it. The replaced the front pads and turned the rotors but has not fixed the problem. On 9/08/26 took the vehicle back to the dealer and they inspected it and could not see a problem. We test drove it and it would not show the problem. - 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid: uconnect screen and module outage (1 complaints) Well known and documented issue with 2022 Chrysler Pacificas and many other Stellantis vehicles. Screen went out which eliminates our rear-view camera. Brought to dealer and after a $300 diagnosis they charged 1500 for screen replacement. After replacing screen they call to say the whole module needs to be replaced and want another $400. Screen was likely never an issue. Always a software failure with the module. - 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan: excesive oil consumption (5 complaints) My 2022 Tiguan has been more frequently showing the low oil light, and the inspection note even though I recently had it at the dealer for maintenance (oil change and filter, cabin filter, transmission oil change). Last week, the low oil light came on and then flashed the light that it would not go over 3,000 RPMs followed by the EPC light with the car then going into limp mode. - 2023 Nissan Rogue: right rear caliper hanging (1 complaints) Took car into tire shop to have the rear brakes fixed... 3 times... The first time they were sent core calipers, second time they where sent the wrong calipers, and the third time they just replaced the pads and turned the rotors since they were unable to attain through their normal supply chain. - 2018 Ford Edge: antifreeze leaking into engine (9 complaints) In August 2026, at approximately 82,000 miles, the vehicle’s Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminated. A diagnostic scan revealed a Cylinder 4 misfire code. In an effort to mitigate the issue using standard maintenance, I replaced all spark plugs and ignition coils. - 2012 Nissan Sentra: shifter stuck in park (2 complaints) One day after work my car refused to move out of being stuck in Park. It was very annoying and inconvenient being stuck at work. - 2020 Kia Forte: metal shavings (1 complaints) Had this car through one oil change at the dealership. While there was metal shavings throughout the engine and turbo, NO notations during the oil change. The judge who heard the original”Kia lawsuit”, needs evaluated. Kia and Hyundai continue to sell death traps to people, because they were given a slap on the wrist. - 2024 Ford Ranger: drive mode changes automatically (1 complaints) While driving, the drive mode changes without input from the driver. I will start in "normal" drive mode and it will switch by itself to another drive mode OR will perpetually rotate through the drive modes. This has happened at highway speeds and switched to 4x4 Low, which could cause an accident, injury and severely damage the drivetrain.
