- 2026 Subaru Crosstrek: infotainment system lags (1 complaints) The infotainment system lags alot. It has gotten a bit better with this last update in july but it use to lag and sometimes would lag when playing music so bad that the songs would play 1 second stop and hum for 2 then play 1 more second. You would have to pull over turn the car off open the door wait 10 seconds get back in let it reboot. Since the July update I've only expirenced it once so it has gotten ... read more »

- 2015 Toyota Highlander: extremely uncomfortable seats (13 complaints) The other complaints on here are accurate. These seats get genuinely painful to sit in after about two hours in them. Long drives and daytrips can get miserable in them. I've had to make more rest stops in this car than I normally would. read more »

- 2022 Nissan Pathfinder: sunroof leaks horribly (1 complaints) The sunroof leaks so badly! Any time it rains, the car floods. I've had the drain cleaned 3 times. After the last time, I didn't open the sunroof again, hoping that would help. It did NOT! When I purchased this car, it had 58k miles; so I can't confirm when it may have actually started. But now there is a funky smell and I'm afraid the water is going to kill the electronics. Suggestions ... read more »

- 2015 Toyota Highlander: slipping in reverse (1 complaints) At approximately 215,000 miles, the reverse gear (and ONLY the reverse gear!) in my Highlander started slipping. I've never seen any other reports anywhere of anyone else having this same issue with the Highlander. First time I noticed it, I was reversing up a mild (3% or less) gravel grade with myself and roughly 150 pounds of equipment in the car. I assumed the noise was loose gravel giving way. I managed to back up, but it took more effort and momentum than it should have. The next time it happened, it was on ... read more »
- 2023 Hyundai Palisade: leaking radiator in a car less than 3 years old (1 complaints) Disappointed that my 2023 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy -less than 3 years old- has a leaking factory radiator. Hyundai has TSBs for this on earlier models, but it is still happening. If you look at the TSB from the earlier models and the picture I enclosed with this complaint it is exactly where it has happened with the earlier models. I spoke with dealer and Hyundai Complaint Deptartment and they refuse to cover it under power train 1000000-mile warranty even though it is a major system failure and known defect ... read more »

- 2006 Honda Civic: serpentine belt idler bolt failed (14 complaints) The belt tensioner broke 3 times on me. The first time I replaced it lasted around a year. Then I bought an AC Delco belt tensioner that lasted around 5 months. Then I decided to get a genuine Honda belt tensioner for $700; while trying to install it, I found the bolt broke inside. I managed to get the broken bolt stuck in the block, and found of the thread in the block had worn out. I decided to get a longer bolt so it could reach the remaining thread deep in the block and added some bolt fastener compound. It ... read more »
- 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid: sticking steering (1 complaints) This is the sticking steering problem involved in the NHTSA Campaign 24V-744. It is a safety issue. When the steering sticks, you need to pull it back, risking an overcorrection. My CRV model year is not covered by the recall, but this is clearly the problem. The dealer has diagnosed it as such. Honda corporate is offering a discount but will not cover the full cost of the ... read more »

- 2017 Chevrolet Malibu: shift to park (10 complaints) Shift to park problem occurs frequently. I have to restart the car and shift a few times before the light goes off. The light was on when I went for m inspection but went out when the mechanic went to get the car. I was told that was a safety issue and would run me about $1100. But they did not address the issue since the light went out for ... read more »
- 2017 Chevrolet Malibu: dashboard messages lit up then went out completely (1 complaints) I was driving the car when all of a sudden all the messages came on - TPS, air bag system, traction light, engine light stayed on. I had no gas gauge, no TPS, no speedometer, no turn signal, no flasher, nothing . All gauges went to zero. I came home, shut the car off with the usual shift to park message again. I waited a few minutes, then started the car up and drove around the block and all the messages were gone as if nothing was wrong. I could've been in a serious accident with no warning system to let other ... read more »
- 2018 Kia Soul: fuel injector failure (1 complaints) First owner of 2018 Kia soul 1.6l. Have taken excellent care of the vehicle by getting all required maintenance full synthetic oil changes every 4000 miles and using only top tier gas. Regardless of all the good care of the vehicle the fuel injectors failed. I was driving home from work and at a red light vehicle started running rough and dark smoke pouring out of the tailpipe. Barely made it off to the side of the road. Called and got it towed to the nearest dealership since the car only has 80,000 miles on it ... read more »

- 2016 Subaru Forester: fix engine light intermittent, stall, no freeway acceleration (1 complaints) The fix engine light started going on intermittently starting in 8/2025. The mechanic cleared it and said it was fine. This happened multiple times. 6/23/2026 the car started stalling at stop signs. Mechanic said to take it to the dealer as it was electrical. The Glendale Subaru dealer came back with over $17,000 worth of repairs recommended -- transmission, axle, fluid leaks etc. They did not even look at the electrical portion. The mechanic said they were over recommending -- take it to another dealer and have ... read more »
- 2018 Tesla Model 3: seat pan and cross over support - drivers side (1 complaints) Who would believe that the side-to-side steel springs that provide rigidity can suffer from weld shear or localized cracking near the bracket joints due to cyclic loading (the constant shifting of weight and torque forces transmitted through the cabin floor). This was a $65K vehicle identified as a luxury car. This is either a design flaw or defective material. We own a 60 year old Ford that has it's original seats intact without fail. I can not believe that a repair option is unavailable, if your seat fails this ... read more »
- 2020 Honda Pilot: infotainment system freezing up (2 complaints) The radio would crack and pop very loudly, resulting in the system going blank.
