- 2018 Honda Civic: steering sticking (5 complaints) Steering very sticky especially in hotter weather. It will actually keep going itself at times around a curb at times without trying to back in memory because it sticks. Contacted carmax warranty that I purchased and they denied because the shop I took it to and the adjuster couldn’t get it to do it. Carmax care never contacted me only the shop I took it took. The shop said that carmax didn’t think it was bad enough. What’s bad enough locks up around a curb posssibly and kills me or someone else. Already ... read more »

- 2020 Audi Q8: defective water pump (1 complaints) I am the owner of a 2020 Audi Q8 premium plus vehicle that has experienced a series of significant mechanical failures despite regular maintenance and prior dealership involvement. My issues began with a faulty starter, which was replaced under warranty, followed by an alternator recall that was addressed by an authorized Audi dealership. He came out and looked it it, pulled back the plastic shroud and tried to cover it. It popped back out. He informed he has seen this on Lincolns and wasn't sure anything could be done. I asked him if that would be an acceptable response if this were his car with 1250 miles on it. He agreed he wouldn't and said he would reach out to Ford. After over a week I called and left a message on 5/19/2026. Again, no response. I emailed on May ... read more »
- 2020 Ford Transit Connect: cool error warning light (1 complaints) Note to 2019-2023 Transit Connect owners. You have already been expecting this issue, where you would get a coolant warning light or message on your dash. This issue is cause by having to much coolant in your reservoir. If a small amount of coolant is not removed from the reservoir, you will continue to get this warning message and some stalling type issue could occur. The best way to correct this is to use a turkey baster and extract a small amount of coolant from the reservoir opening. One must do this when the ... read more »

- 2020 Ford Transit Connect: factory and aftermarket m10 end links fail (1 complaints) 2019-2023 Transit Owners need to upgrade their M10 end links to the larger Transit Van M12 links. The reason for this is because the M10 links are not durable enough to service the lifetime of the van. Over the last 4 years we've had to replace the failing m10 end links 11 times. Until we realize there's a better option to cure the failing links. One will need the end links from the larger 250 transit van which have M12 ball joints. This means having to drill out the link mounting holes on the strut as well as the ... read more »

- 2021 Jeep Wrangler: bad lifters and rockers, leads to camshaft damage (2 complaints) Check engine light came on, had the codes diagnosed and brought it to a mechanic, timing chain stretched and all associated with it needs to be replaced. Just hoping it doesn't happen again, at all, but in the next 50-70 thousand miles. It's absolutely horrible that an engine with that little mileage on it has this big of an issue. I can only speak for the time I've owned it, but in that time oil changes and all other regular maintenance has been done on time. Very ... read more »
- 2013 Honda Civic: clear coat is coming off (5 complaints) There was a recall before any of the paint fading would have began showing. The recall was 2013-2020. Honda will not help at all to repaint the Honda Civic 2013 and estimates just for the roof and trunk have been up to $3,000. I want to drive this car another 10 years but by then it would be all rusted. Honda should have given a graduated allowance to cover this ongoing problem that they KNEW about. That's what is frustrating! They knew it was going to be a problem for the owners but let the recall time out. ... read more »

- 2018 Ford Escape: coolant getting into the #3 cylinder (11 complaints) This appears to be an issue with the Ford Escape. The car had its 50,000 service & 3 weeks later the car would idle very hard; it did that several times before I took it to Robert Horn Ford in Apache Junction, AZ. After 2 days in the shop, I received a quote for $9305.81 to replace the long block assembly. The car is only 9 years old. The quote is very expensive & should be investigated for flaws in the engine. The car is hardly worth that much ... read more »
