- 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid: car lost gas power and quickly decelerated (1 complaints) Car lost gas power on the highway and quickly decelerated Others have reported this problem. I was driving at highway speed when suddenly the engine light went on and I lost gas power. The car quickly decelerated to about 40 mph and reverted to battery power. Luckily I was at an exit, got off, parked, and restarted the car. - 2024 Honda Civic: tires loose pressure daily (1 complaints) Tire pressure monitoring system alerts to tire pressure loss seek assistance. I go to tire place they say pressure is down. They refill air tire pressure. Next day same event occurs 2 days in a row. This type event occurred couple months prior and I took to dealership. - 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan: water pump belt (1 complaints) Temp gauge jumped in winter, water pump was not working. Have to take apart tons of stuff to access they water pump belt to even see if that was the problem. Nothing is an easy fix on this piece of junk. read more »

- 2016 Nissan Sentra: slipping on high speed and jerking (2 complaints) Transmission issues and losing speed on highways multiple times. Even though I was still on the gas, my speed would drop rapidly on the freeway before eventually abruptly jerking forward after several minutes. read more »
- 2021 Honda CR-V: cvt transmission failed (1 complaints) The transmission failed, and the vehicle was towed to a Honda dealer. The fix was to have the dealer install a remanufactured transmission for $6500. Honda will not cover any of the cost (out-of-warranty), which is odd given the known issue with the CVT and my previous experiences with Honda. Even a $100 contribution would have been a nice gesture. I was disappointed in Honda's transmission quality and a willingness to find a reasonable resolution. - 2009 Pontiac Vibe: no compression, engine failure (1 complaints) Engine ran like crap. Had random misfire. Changed all plugs, 2 ignition coils and went to a mechanic who did compression test which showed all four cylinders dead. Changed the engine. read more »
- 2026 Toyota Tacoma Hybrid: transmission (1 complaints) The transmission is clunky and gets better as it warms up. Today, and this has happened on other days, shifting into reverse from stop you get a loud clank and it’s as though you were moving, but you were not. Doing the exact same back up at the exact same place (my house) it might do it 2 times a week? Haven’t kept count. - 2012 Buick Enclave: engine died (1 complaints) This happened in April 2026. I had bought the car on Jan 2022 with 108k miles on it. While driving the car back home, I heard a sound which I thought was a muffler leak or something. As I got closer to home, it became a rattle sound. I was convinced it was the muffler. pickup was low at this point. But I got home and parked. When I attempt to start the next morning, it started with that rattle sound, but did not move. - 2012 Cadillac SRX: won't start (2 complaints) The car did not start. Checked the battery which was 1 year old. voltage looked good. Connected the code reader to see if there were any codes pending. Did not show any codes. Then when i started it, it started miraculously and ran fine. - 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz: speed dropped to 20 and would not go higher (1 complaints) Driving on I95 and truck would suddenly only go 20, no faster. Thought I'd get killed with all the cars. Pulled off, waited and then restarted. It ran normal. Shortly after engine light come on. At Dealer, # 16 trip. - 2024 Toyota Tundra: issue with back brake pads (1 complaints) Brought my 2024 Tundra with 25k miles in for an oil change and to look at the brakes because the truck was vibrating when braking. They found that the front rotors needed to be address and that the brake pads show 4 mm rear pads vs 10 mm front pads at 25,000 miles. This is an engineering anomaly, not standard wear. - 2024 Kia Seltos: drivers seat pealing off (1 complaints) It’s so poor because car is less than 2years with under 30k kilometer reading and Kia said they won’t do anything about it as it’s not covered. Driver is less than 75kg in weight so this must definitely manufacturer’s defect. read more »
