- 2013 Honda Civic: vsa, power steering, airbag, check engine lights (1 complaints) I got the car from okcarz August 6. Not even a week later, the airbag detection light came on. My warranty is under Pep Boys and they don’t touch airbags. Kind of upset about that because I have three kids and God forbid an accident happens. Who’s to say if the airbags would go off or not.? - 2019 Subaru Ascent: transmission making horrible noises (4 complaints) SOA has made it difficult for dealerships to replace a faulty CVT unless the dealership's service department can document specific criteria. - 2011 Chevrolet Cruze: when let up on the gas, the car pulls back (1 complaints) When I am driving, and let up on the gas, the car pulls back. I have had this car since the beginning of June. From the get go, it's had issues. I took it for an oil change soon after I got it, and as soon as the guy looked under the hood, he said, do you know your oil cap is sitting on the engine, and there is oil all over it? - 2013 Nissan Altima: CVT shuttering, vibration, hesitation, running roughly (180 complaints) My 2013 Nissan Altima had approximately 72,861 kilometers on the odometer when I had the CVT fluid serviced. The shop used a machine connected from the engine compartment and did not remove the transmission oil pan. They used approximately four liters of Nissan NS-3 CVT fluid during the cleaning process and another four liters for the final refill. - 2025 Hyundai Tucson: electrical (3 complaints) When driving home from work at 7 am, a bump in the road causes all the dash symbols to come on, has happened several times. I park the car and shut off and all lights stay on. When I return later and restart, all symbols are not lite. I am sick of this vehicle. It has so many problems. The manufacture never hooked up all the components. My seat never worked, the dealer said it was never hooked up. - 2020 Porsche Cayenne: piston slap as well as rocker arms common failure (1 complaints) It’s my understanding that Audi has the same engine and same problems, however the have elected to extended the warranty to cover the cost of the new engines. - 2012 Ram 1500: engine stalls/shuts down while driving (10 complaints) Ram 1500 2012 model truck shuts down as if shut off with key fob. Happens randomly seems to be when slowing down to turn shuts down in the turning process. Can restart immediately when put in neutral. Steering becomes very hard and so far able to coast into turn while starting vehicle back up to get out of road way. - 2017 Ford Escape: paint loss/chips (16 complaints) I bought the 2017 Ford Escape as a retirement gift for my wife and me. We figured it would be the last car we would have to buy so we wanted a new one with leather seats, sunroof....you know...a small, gas saving luxury SUV. - 2019 GMC Yukon: catalytic converter failure after engine replaced (1 complaints) I suddenly noticed a noise coming from the engine that sounded like a noisy lifter and stopped using the car after hearing it. - 2019 Toyota Highlander: rough idle, check engine light (2 complaints) My 2019 Highlander never had an issue, I kept up with all maintenance. It started sputtering when its idle at a stop light. After a few times of this happening, my check engine light came on. Took it to the dealer and was told that the entire engine needed to be replaced. It was a cylinder misfire. - 2021 Chevrolet Colorado: frozen calipers (1 complaints) Both rear calipers have seized up at 53,000 miles. There was a burning, rubber smell, the truck was shaking trying to slowly drive home and the brake/tire temperature was 5 times the normal. This created a severe driving hazard. read more »

- 2014 Ford C-Max Energi: transmission failure (1 complaints) I bought this as my first car in 2021 with 92,000 miles for roughly $12,000 after all the fees/taxes/etc. 2 years later the transmission completely failed on the side of the road in a sketchy part of Tuscaloosa, AL. It was such an amazing day (not). I had it towed all the way back to Birmingham, AL (where I lived, 50min away) and was told it would cost close to what I paid for the car to replace the transmission (~$12,000), which I could not afford, so I ended up selling the car to a junker for $1200. - 2025 Honda Ridgeline: leaking water inside evertime rains or wash car (2 complaints) Less than a year old and I started to see water on the driver’s kick panel and brake pedal after driving in the rain or car wash. Very happy I had the fitted floor mats, or I would not have seen the extent of the water infiltration. - 2026 Toyota Corolla Hybrid: passenger side lower mirror cover can fall off while driving (1 complaints) Part came off while driving. Upon research this is a small issue in newer Toyota models (2020+ corolla, rav4, Tacoma etc), at least what I saw on Toyota forums and Reddit. Fix was covered under warranty. read more »
