- 2022 BMW X7 40I: transfer case (1 complaints) Every time I make a left or right turn the car shudders and it seems like the issue is worsening. After paying a substantial amount of money for a vehicle you have expectations that this would not happen read more »
- 2023 Rivian R1T: wheel bearing rf failed in 100k miles (1 complaints) I had to pay 700 dollars for something that normally lasts 300k miles. I should never of had to pay for that. They have still not made it right. More issues but I'll add in another complaint. read more »
- 2023 Rivian R1T: 12v dc battery multiple failures (1 complaints) I have had my 12 V battery fail twice now. First one was done under warranty. Now, I'm not sure what they will do but I will update. Basically, this battery is required to drive the car. If it fails you are stranded. It relies on this battery to power all the electronics, so no software starts up if it is dead. I think this is a serious issue and at minimum should have user diagnostics on the battery to give you some idea of the true shape of the battery. As it stands it only gives you a yellow warning light. ... read more »
- 2023 Rivian R1T: was told drivetrain limited to motors (1 complaints) I was told by a rep at the atlanta service center that the drivetrain warranty only covered the motors. A drivetrain is an entrainment of drive forces, so that is ridiculous. It should cover everything in that train: motors to wheels. I did indeed have to pay for wheel bearings in a separate incident I reported, but I should not have had to do ... read more »
- 2026 GMC Canyon: dashboard no longer shows fuel level (1 complaints) Filled up yesterday, when I went to reset the trip log in the truck, now the fuel gauge is gone. Now there is no way to know how much farther I can drive. I tried to reset the system, wiping out my gas monitoring, the gauge still doe not work. I took it to a local Chevy dealer, in NC. Being 750 mile from home this is a real issue. I mentioned a programming update error, only to be told I was mistaken. Still waiting on them to tell me what the issue is. Update from Jun 18, ... read more »
- 2026 GMC Canyon: dashboard shows "crash alert" upon starting (1 complaints) Started up my truck for work only to have the crash alert light pop on as I pulled onto the street. I stopped and restarted the truck, clearing the indicator. Found out on 6-9-26, after a pit stop, this alert also disables the cruise control on the vehicle. I had to pull off the highway to park and restart the truck. At this writing, 6-11-26, it has occurred eight times, including this morning waiting at the dealership, upon restarting my parked truck. I found there was supposed to be an over the air update, but ... read more »
- 2011 Chevrolet Cruze: when i let off the gas, it loses acceleration, hesitates (1 complaints) I just got this car in April of this year from Fink's Used Auto Sales in South Zanesville, Ohio. It was basically pushed on me from the salesman, who told me it would be a good car for me. I am 68, single, no kids, no one to really go to bat for me and help me with anything, so I trusted him. Right off the bat, the passenger window stopped working, so they did fix it, I didn't have the car for a week. Then, I took it for an oil change. The guy put the hood up, and found the oil cap was sitting on the engine, and ... read more »
- 2008 Chevrolet Express: paint bubbling and chipping (2 complaints) For so many years we had to drive around in a vehicle that wasn't that old, and didn't have high mileage, but looked terrible. The bubbling chipped paint first started on the hood and then started to show up eventually all over the vehicle. Throughout the past several years I see the same problem with Chevrolet Expresses everywhere. The manufacturer should've had to repaint all the vans correctly. We lost a lot of ... read more »
- 2026 Kia Carnival Hybrid: loss of propulsion (2 complaints) We were driving on highway, approximately 2 miles from home, when we suddenly lost power to the drive train. Eventually it started moving again but after a short distance we again lost power to the drive train. It appeared that whenever it transferred from gasoline to hybrid or electric, we would loose propulsion. We were in traffic and this was not a desirable situation. We applied hazard flashers and were able to limp home. We had no way to lock the hybrid into gasoline mode so every time it switch to electric ... read more »
- 2026 Kia Carnival Hybrid: loss of propulsion (2 complaints) On 6/3/2026, the Round Rock KIA service center had completed their diagnostic tests and test drives. I had picked up my vehicle and was driving it back home when the problem recurred so I turned around and went back to the dealership. The service manager, Wes, agreed to do a ride along. He insisted I drive so he could observe, and observe he did. We were about to conclude our drive when the problem recurred. Wes had observed a slight movement in the brake pedal as I was accelerating from a stop at a traffic light. ... read more »
- 2023 Volkswagen Taos: fuel tank pressure valve assembly (1 complaints) This is the second time my CEL has come on. The CEL resulted in a maintenance visit on 5/20 and then the CEL came on again less than 3 weeks later. Thankfully the repairs were covered under warranty. Repairs occurred on Wednesday 6/10/26. When I turned on my car Thursday 6/11/26 the CEL came back on and the car would not shift in to reverse or drive. I'm starting to think this vehicle is cursed. Turned it off, turned it back on again, and the CEL turned off and car behaved as expected like nothing was wrong. ... read more »
- 2023 Volkswagen Taos: misfire (2 complaints) Car was brought in for CEL - originally, I was going to be charged but the dealership checked again and apparently the issue was covered under warranty. Whatever they fixed was broken AGAIN by 6/9/26 resulting in the CEL coming on again. This car is barely 3 years old. To have this many issues is ... read more »
- 2023 Volkswagen Taos: brakes grind when applied (5 complaints) Car was brought in for 20k maintenance and brake issues were mentioned as the breaks had started squealing/grinding when used. Brake pads were replaced and dealership noted "more than usual" wear to the rear breaks. I had hoped this would fix the issue, but it did not. The next morning, brakes continued to grind/squeal - I did not have time to have it re-addressed until the next ... read more »
- 2023 Volkswagen Taos: brakes grind when applied (5 complaints) Car was brought in for a flat tire primarily - mentioned AGAIN that the breaks were grinding/squealing despite having been replaced 9 months ago. Brake pads replaced again, brake lines flushed. The next morning the breaks were still grinding/squealing. No real resolution despite spending hundreds of dollars on brake ... read more »
- 2023 Volkswagen Taos: brakes grind when applied (5 complaints) Car originally brought in for check engine light and, once again, complaints about the brakes squealing/grinding. Brake pads assessed and while the front brakes rated at 12, the rear brakes rated at 2 despite having been replaced 8 months prior. Brake lines flushed & brake pads replaced for the THIRD TIME in less than 2 years. Next morning - brakes still grinding/squealing. At this point, I don't see hope in a resolution and it appears whatever is wrong will not be fixed unless I flush & replace the brakes every ... read more »
- 2021 Honda CR-V: sticking steering (2 complaints) After driving for about 10 minutes and traveling at 45 mph or more, the steering starts to act strange. It seems to only occur after turning to the left for a curve in the road and then trying to turn back to the right when the road straightens out. The steering will stick and additional pressure is required to turn to the right. When the additional pressure is applied and the steering wheel moves to the right a dull clicking sound is heard. It seems to be a safety hazard but my local dealer says it's not a safety ... read more »

- 2017 Honda Pilot: transmission warning while interstate cruising (1 complaints) 2017 Honda Pilot with 3.5 l V6 (DI engine). We started having issues in 11/2024 around 78,000mi with the transmission warning light coming on while cruising on the interstate under light acceleration. Stopping the car and cycling the engine on and off would reset the sensors and allowed the car to drive normally for a period. This would happen often enough I could tell the transmission error would pop up because the vehicle would have sluggish performance and it would hold gears longer than usual. After some ... read more »
- 2015 Honda CR-V: paint is wearing off (1 complaints) This Honda is a great car and should last a long time but between last year when I noticed the paint wear at the door/window meeting point to now the car looks unacceptable. a full paint job will be necessary to correct it if I am to keep the car without looking like I am driving a junker vehicle. I expect more from Honda. I was told by my dealership some WHITE painted honda vehicles were subject to a recall by Honda national. There was also an issue with clearcoats I logged my complaint at Honda national as well ... read more »
- 2018 Honda HR-V: paint is peeling in sheets from the roof (1 complaints) Noticed a small chip on the roof and along the side and along the trim on the passenger side roof recently. This week, there was only the chip above the windshield. the next day, waking out of a client's office, I see what I thought was a shadow shaped like a pterodactyl. Much to my chagrin it was now caused by the shadows and the leaves from the nearby trees, it was the paint on my roof peeling ... read more »
