- 2023 Dodge Charger: coolant level dropping (1 complaints) purchased a 2023 Dodge Charger GT expecting a reliable new vehicle, but since almost the beginning, the car has had repeated mechanical and cooling system problems that the dealer has not been able to permanently fix. The first check engine issue happened at around only 390 miles. Since then, the vehicle has been in and out of the dealership multiple times for different problems including delayed starting, transmission jolts, coolant loss, overheating concerns, vibration issues, and strong coolant/antifreeze ... read more »
- 2021 Nissan Versa: cvt failure (1 complaints) I have never owned a CVT so after I bought the car, I thought the delay in power and very harsh engagement from low to high gear was normal. However, after some research I figured the CVT was on its way out for sure. Luckily the transmission was covered under an extended warranty, and I ended up paying nothing for it despite the high mileage. Change your CVT fluid and filters, ... read more »
- 2014 Toyota Highlander: back spoiler has melted (1 complaints) I was washing my 2014 Highlander in the driveway the other day and noticed that the back spoiler was all melted. As I got online this is known problem that Toyota basically has told everybody to basically fuck off and it's caused by the sun. I hope there is a class action suit against these douche bags because that's such bullshit to put a product on that melts in the sun. I've seen estimates up to $2700 to fix out-of-pocket. My Highlander sits in a garage with no windows and it only has 65,000 miles on it. I'm ... read more »
- 2019 GMC Terrain: rear hatch window exploded (1 complaints) Car was parked at home. Went to head to store, closed drivers door and heard a muffled sounding pop. I looked around and saw in rear view window the window looked “funny”. I got out and walked to the back and found it had exploded. The entire thing is just gone. Even all along the edges it’s cracked or missing glass. My husband came over to see and we looked for anything that could have caused it. There’s no rock inside, no BB gun hole or anything that could explain this. Funny thing is we just were out in ... read more »
- 2025 Lexus TX 350: tire failed only 20000 miles (1 complaints) Tire should not have failed at 20,000. I was extremely lucky it did not cause a crash. Lexus should have covered the cost of the tire. read more »
- 2025 Nissan Frontier: battery completely dead (1 complaints) I had a 2024 Nissan Frontier Pro-X with the same battery issue. Go out to start it in the morning and the battery was dead. Now remember, this is a new truck. I am having same issue with my 2025 with 7,000 miles on it. I drove it on the weekend and come Monday morning, no electrical at all. Thankfully, I bought myself a jump start pack. That did the trick. But, it is annoying to know that at any given time, the battery could be dead. ' I like the truck very much so is it worth it to hassle? I am not sure yet. I ... read more »
- 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid: vehicle went into limp home mode on highway (1 complaints) Driving on highway, brief hesitation as the vehicle switched from battery to gas operation followed by warning to stop the vehicle safely because the engine would shut off shortly. After pulling over and turning it all the way off and waiting a couple minutes, turned it back on and was able to drive, but with check engine light on. Took to dealership, who found that the transmission had failed. Strikingly, this was after only 31000 miles of normal use and consistent maintenance with the dealership. My personal ... read more »
- 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: catastrophic engine failure (1 complaints) While driving on the freeway, the truck suddenly displayed a flashing check engine light along with multiple warning/error messages. I was able to limp the vehicle to the nearest mechanic, where they inspected it and confirmed catastrophic internal engine failure ($13,XXX). Upon removing the oil pan, they found large copper-colored metal chunks and metallic glitter throughout the engine oil, indicating severe internal bearing/component failure. The vehicle is no longer safe to operate and now requires major engine ... read more »

- 2026 Ford Maverick: usb ports front and back are dead (1 complaints) After having the vehicle for a week and 2 days, I have to give a review that is not on the property of the dealership. They wanted to see me give a 5 star review before I left. UPON delivering a brand new vehicle, ALL amenities and options PAID for should work. My USB ports DO NOT WORK! After driving a few miles, I received a LOW WASHER FLUID light on the dash. I wonder what else was left unchecked. This ... read more »
- 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid: 12vt battery discharge leaving me unable to open the hatch (1 complaints) Bought the Santa Fe Hybrid shortly before the 0% financing went out. Not long after getting it home, it refused to start and everything, dashboard included, was dead. Called the dealer and they suggested charging the battery which was located in the rear. No power to open the hatch and had to crawl through the cargo space to access the battery compartment. Charged the battery for several hours before being able to restart it and drive again. Real pain in the butt but was fortunate that it happened at home. Now I ... read more »
- 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid: jerky starts and at low speeds (1 complaints) Driving this week, I noticed hesitation and jerking at slow speeds right after accelerating. Concerning but seemed to smooth out shortly after. This happened several times this week and should have been taken as a foreshadowing of something bigger coming down the pike. Didn’t think a lot about it at the time but should have. Will give details in next ... read more »
- 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid: sudden loss of power (3 complaints) Driving home from church today, car seemed sluggish and jerky. Driving through our small town after church on a Sunday is bumper to bumper until you reach the other side of town. Trying to get the vehicle up to 45 seemed to take forever no matter how much I stepped on the pedal. Engine rev was high and the car suddenly started going slower until everyone was moving around me. Turned on the flashers and the dash board gave a message to pull over and leave the engine running to charge the battery… the ev ... read more »
- 2020 Chevrolet Bolt: propulsion power reduced (1 complaints) Woke up one morning after leaving my bolt EV at around 15% overnight at home. Previously that evening had used a Tesla DC fast charger. There seems to be a bulletin/recall going around about a false DTC being set on these cars and the Hybrid Power Control Module/HPCM needs to be reprogrammed. I will update with the fix from the dealer as my car had the affected codes U3626 but also P3013 and P1E00 hybrid power control module 2 requested malfunction indicator ... read more »
- 2022 Honda HR-V: five cluster warning lights stay on (1 complaints) 97,525 basically 8 years old mileage wise [12,000/avg/yr] - So things do break at year 8, BUT, this was diagnosed today at my respected Mechanic - Klingemann Car Care, Cedar Park, TX (an Austin Franchise) as a complete failure of the ABS Module, estimated replacement $5,000 part, $300 labor, $300 reprogramming. And I just got the $28k, loan paid off last year!!!!!! VERY UNHAPPY WITH HONDA ON THIS. Will update when I decide to replace or rebuild the ABS ... read more »
- 2015 Mazda CX-9: water pump failure (3 complaints) It's just a really annoying situation cause I keep the vehicle in fairly tip top shape, treat it really nice don't spare anything mechanically for it and having to rip out the engine for a water pump issue costing over $3,000 Canadian just hurts for a really unnecessary reason. For the 2015 it seems the only solution is to completely rip out the engine and transmission to get at the water pump and timing chain. Wouldn't need to do the timing chain at this time but if there yanking the engine anyway. May as well ... read more »
- 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid: cel flashes and shaking in front end. lost accel (3 complaints) This is terrible and unlike Honda. I'm sure there are complaints but Honda doesn't want to do anything about it. Please find a fix or recall to get this ... read more »
