- 2017 Nissan Murano: steering wheel heater too hot to use (1 complaints) Everything was fine with my car until it wasn't. It was winter and I turned on my steering wheel heater. It was so hot I could hardly touch the steering wheel. I called Nissan about it. They claimed they've never heard this before. I pushed and pushed and finally had to have the steering wheel replaced. It was so long ago I cannot remember the details. But talk about unsafe!!! That and the melted seat heater/cooler. Isn't ok. Buying the top tier of this model I expected better. MELTED ELECTRICAL? Burning hands? ... read more »

- 2025 Honda Ridgeline: auto high low beam work so poorley can't use them (3 complaints) Auto headlamps are useless. Only thing they do right is come on at dusk. If you want anything else you’re wasting your time. My new truck’s lights will flip high beams on and off constantly. Everything affects them. They also refuse to dim occasionally when I meet other cars at night. As of today during 3 months of ownership the lights have failed to dim on 5 different occasions when meeting cars. - 2014 Buick LaCrosse: the electronic power steering stopped working (1 complaints) The power steering completely went out while we were on vacation and I had to drive it all the way home with no power steering. The entire steering system had to be replaced at a cost of around $5,000. The mechanic shop had to order the part which took several days, then it took them almost a week to replace it. They had to remove the entire subframe to get to the part. Who would invent such a system like this? What happened to the good old days where you had a rack and pinion and a power steering pump that ran ... read more »
- 2011 Nissan Altima: transmission failure (19 complaints) When I purchased this vehicle, it had just crossed over 90,000 miles. It was in very good condition, anything that was done to it was recorded in the manual, and I only paid $5,000 for it...which I thought was a good price. Never had a single problem with the vehicle, until it literally hit 100k miles and my transmission decided that it was going to quit working while I was driving back from getting my kids at school. Hell, I barely made it across the intersection at a main road. The next day, my mechanic told ... read more »
- 2020 Mazda MAZDA3: torque converter failed (1 complaints) I purchased this car new in 2020, put very few miles on it per year, drove like a normal person, and maintained it as per the manual. Still, in fall of 2025 with only 37,000 miles on the car, the torque converter went bad and needed to be replaced. Torque converter life should be measured in the hundreds of thousands of miles, not the tens of thousands. Nonetheless, Mazda cited the fact the car was out of warranty by a few months, and refused any type of warranty repair or even goodwill assistance towards the cost ... read more »
- 2022 GMC Yukon: driver side mirror resets itself pointing down (1 complaints) Many times but not always the drivers side mirror will reset itself pointing downwards so you can’t see anything coming up on the left of the vehicle. This can lead to an accident if you don’t remember to check before you leave and adjust the mirror appropriately. I have reset the preset many times but it still does it later. Not sure if this is specific to my vehicle or if others are experiencing this? I paid previously for “software coding” to clear module error codes and reset but the problem came back ... read more »

- 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: shakes and shimmys when accelerating (1 complaints) I purchased this vehicle on November 23, 2023, with 138,122 miles on it. I’ve added only about 50,000 miles, and in that short time, I’ve had one major component after another fail — well beyond what any reasonable owner should experience. Here’s the timeline: 2024: The engine failed and had to be replaced. While the part was covered, I still paid $7,000 in labor costs out of pocket. 2025 (current): The transmission is near failure — slipping, jerking, and shifting erratically. Multiple technicians ... read more »
- 2023 Buick Enclave: sunroof or moonroof leak (1 complaints) Just bought the vehicle and it is still under manufacturer warranty, so hoping it gets fixed under the warranty. I have found a service bullentin but I can't find the results of the service bullentin, like what they found the solution to be. It states Engineering is asking for technicians to send pics when a customer is commenting on water leaking from the sunroof area. I have an appointment at the GM dealer on Monday. Just like to investigate to have more information should I be told they can't duplicate the ... read more »

- 2013 Ford F-150: c116a, hill descent ctrl fault, service adv trac, ABS fail (1 complaints) Very costly, expense not covered by Ford. These 3 messages popped up every time started vehicle. It sounded really dire, especially "ABS Failure Service Immediately". After getting it fixed I did search around and saw Ford had recalls on other vehicles for HCU replacement but not for the 2013 F-150. The module itself was over $1700, I certainly did not feel I should have had to pay for it. I often wonder if I wouldn't have had it fixed if it would have made a difference as the month it took to get the F-150 in for ... read more »
