- 2023 Toyota Camry: engine light on (1 complaints) Engine light ON at 22960 miles on July-2026 and it just pass 3 years or 36K miles warranty on Mar-2026. Brought to the dealer in Dallas, said error code P0420 and had to replace catalytic converter (crack on the honeycomb) and I had to pay almost 2500 for out of warranty. Called Toyota North America about the problem and this is Federal require 8 yrs or 80K mile warranty on emission (with help from Google information). - 2023 Kia Sorento: fuel door stuck at 50,000km (1 complaints) The Issue ?Upon reaching 50,000 km, the fuel door (outer gas lid) failed to open. The lock mechanism remained engaged, making it impossible to refuel. ?The Complication ?This vehicle does not have a manual emergency release mechanism or cable to open the fuel door from the inside. - 2021 Nissan Rogue: wont turn on reverse camera (2 complaints) I'm not sure what happened but I was washing my hatch window cleaning my car and I went to get in it the next day and my back up camera didn't work. Not sure if I hit wires or if something came unplugged. I tried unhooking the battery, reset infotainment center, checking fuses and nothing worked. I am not comfortable with messing with the wires so I will not be doing that. I don't want to take it to the dealer because I know it will cost me an arm and a leg. - 2017 Ford Escape: coolant in cylinder #2 (3 complaints) Let's start by saying that the engine only has a 109,000 Miles. No way should this engine be failing or anything serious? Be going wrong in such an early stage. In my case my twenty seventeen ford escape number two cylinder( blew) due to the antifreeze mixing in the piston , a known problem coming from the factory. - 2018 Honda Accord: transmission failure (4 complaints) We leased a Honda Accord EX in 2018. In 2021 we purchased the car instead of turning in the lease. It was a fantastic car, just like my past accord 2014 and Honda CRV in 2002. We assumed it would last for over 200,000 miles. In July 2026 I heard a shimmy in the car. I wasn't sure what it was. - 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV: car won't accelerate despite gas pedal pressed (1 complaints) The first time this happened, I was driving on the freeway up a slight incline. When I pressed the gas pedal, my speed decreased by ~5 mph regardless of how hard I pressed. It lasted about 15 seconds before acceleration returned. A couple of weeks later, the exact same issue occurred in the same spot. I took my vehicle in for a recall and mentioned that my EV battery range was unusually low (~12 miles). - 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E: receiving electrical drain service required error (1 complaints) I had to research and tell the service advisor what was wrong and how it needed fixed. After finally listening to me after a week of the dealership having my car he passed the info to the EV tech who had finally got in touch with Ford. I'm obviously a dumb girl and have no idea what I'm talking about but wouldn't you know IT WAS the gateway module that needed replaced just like my two texts and two verbal communications said it was. - 2017 Lincoln Continental: exterior door handle and sunroof (1 complaints) Back passenger door exterior handle stopped working after going over a pot hole. Sunroof stopped retracting after going over a pothole Driver back rest pulling away from form Have owned mostly foreign cars and never a "luxury" car for this kind of money. Cannot believe a plastic part (really) door handle assembly would cost between $800 and $1300 PLUS bunches to put on. NEVER had a car that sunroof stopped working. - 2025 Volkswagen ID.4: sudden acceleration while using brakes (2 complaints) On 6/29/2026, the ID.4 started braking, then vehicle started slowing down, and then while still on the brake vehicle surged forward rapidly. Then brake re-engaged. On 7/1/2026, I was stopped at a stoplight in heavy traffic when the ID.4 surged forward and struck the pickup in front of me causing a chain reaction four car accident. - 2017 Subaru Forester: steering wheel locks, key will not turn in ignition (2 complaints) For about 1-2 weeks now, I've notice that I could not take the key out of the steering wheel, normally this only happens if the steering wheel locks, the steering wheel was never locked, so after a few frustrating moments, I decided to look to see why the key was not coming out, low and behold the ignition lock cylinder was actually coming out of the steering wheel, WOW!!!!! - 2018 Mazda CX-5: engine head defective (5 complaints) 2018 Mazda CX5 cracked cylinder head on my wife's car. Cost $6,600 to have fixed at a Mazda Dealership, no one else locally would touch it. My wife is the proverbially "Little Old Lady" drives below the posted speed limit (which drives me crazy) so I'm not sure how this would occur, other than a vehicle defect. - 2002 Toyota Highlander: engine failure (9 complaints) Bought 2002 Toyota Highlander, Camry and RAV4 within 2 months. Great dealership experience. With in a few years the head separated to allow coolant to leak into the foam baffle in the air intake behind the engine. Took to dealer while under basic warranty to complain about gurgling noise from engine. Was advised that there was nothing wrong other than low on coolant.
