— Ford has re-recalled its 2021 F-150 trucks that should have been repaired in 2022 but were not.

Nearly 600 F-150 trucks are recalled because they can suddenly shift into NEUTRAL while driving.

Ford says the diagnostic trouble code for low transmission fluid pressure may falsely activate and cause the transmission to unexpectedly shift into NEUTRAL.

If a false activation occurs, the Ford F-150 will coast to a stop and the electronic gear shifter will try to engage PARK below speeds of 2 mph/3 kph. The electronic shifter will automatically shift into PARK once the truck comes to a complete stop.

According to Ford, dealerships recorded the F-150 recall repairs as completed when they were not.

Ford F-150 recall letters should be mailed April 24, 2025, and dealers will update the powertrain control module software.

Truck owners may call 866-436-7332 and refer to Ford F-150 recall number 25S24.
