Air conditioning failure after manufacturer warranty expires, it seems like common problem for 2018 honda CR-V.

the air condition of the car does not work properly. there has been multiple complaints about the ac not cooling properly making it a safety hazard for people in the car in hot weather. The ac compressor seems to always have a leak or the condessor. I believe they should make a recall the the ac compressor of this year of the Honda crv.

From 4/12/21 till 6/18/21 have had intermittently, all safety warnings lights on dash roll constantly while driving. Usually for 1-3 days, then it stops. Brought into dealership 3 times. First time, 4/12/21 battery changed at 41,525 miles. Second time, 5/1/21, they said warning light not on when they turn the car on, but they checked it out anyway. Third time 6/14-15/21, 43,293 miles, they kept my car, said last software update wasn't completed. On 6/18/21 the safety warning lights came back on. They have not answered my question, because this is happening, is my car safe to drive? My concern is, the warnings lights are telling me there is a problem, but the dealership is not. So are these safety features working, or disabled while they stay on.

Glass sunroof spontaneously shattered while on highway. Glass shards flew off the roof of the vehicle causing unsafe road hazards to those behind us. Glass shards will fall into vehicle if screen is pulled back under sunroof. Contacted dealer and was told this is a insurance issue. No impact to sunroof by debris. No warning before it shattered. Has not been inspected yet by dealer, manufacturer or insurance.

Driving on city street and interstate the infotainment system in the vehicle will randomly go out. This has happened in the past but has progressively gotten worse. The infotainment system houses the gps and climate control (defrost) system along with the car settings (adas) and entertainment system. When you are dependent on the gps for navigation and you loose the directions you go into a panic situation trying to figure things out. When the windshield fogs and you can't use the defrost system it becomes a visibility issue. Dealership has updated the software but still continues to happen.

The heating/ cooling system does not function very well in cold temperatures. I live in Michigan and it takes a long time for the cabin to heat up in the winter, and on short trips it does not heat up sufficiently, even when I let the car "warm up" in the driveway for a long time before I drive away. While this may seem like a minor inconvenience, it is also a safety hazard as the windows keep fogging up, making it difficult to see. The rear windows are hard to keep defrosted and visibility is very limited when making a lane change and having to check my blind spot. I sometimes have to lower my back windows in order to check my blind spot, but that is also limited because the windows do not go down all the way. I always have to do this when they fog up because I almost side swiped another vehicle due to limited visibility due being unable to defrost the windows properly. From all of the complaints that I have read online, I am not the only one having this problem, and one would think that the manufacturer would address this issue as it is a safety concern.

Driving along and car starts beeping and all the dash lights start blinking. I mean all. Brakes, engine, cruise, etc. Car was in motion. I had it to Honda in October they said they replaced A/C control unit, update PCM and tcm and changed oil. Also said valve cover leaking replace valve cover gasket set. This was in October 2020 and was gratis. The same thing happened in Feb. 2021. They tell me now that the fuel injectors are bad and they are not covered under warranty and it will cost $1477 + to repair. I took it to another repair shop and they said nothing is wrong with fuel injectors and that it is a software problem. This scares you so bad when the car beeps all the way home and all the lights are flashing on the dash.

It was a clear day with no other cars around and I was driving 75mph on the interstate when my car slammed on the brakes while my foot was still on the gas pedal. Nothing was around to trigger the sensor, yet the aeb went into full effect. The car beeped, flashed the brake sign on the dashboard and slammed on the brakes.

Florida arbitration claim in progress: After the first year of purchasing this vehicle, the CRV navigation display system has begun to malfunction. This includes freezing, change in brightness, loss of functions such as navigation control, radio control and camera control. Additionally, this is a safety hazard for myself and those around me as the system will lock up and if the hands free is in use a screeching noise will occur until the car has been stopped and completely restarted as this occurs only while the car is in operation and moving.. the only temporary fix has been to restart the car until it occurs again. Also when this occurs, the A/C will cease functioning. Honda has repeatedly sated that the issue is an isolated issue and that it was due to my phone saying that my samsung is not compatible with the car. However, the car is feature specifically with android audio.

When the temperature is below 25 the heater does not heat unless you drive above 50 mph you can let the car idle for 30 min and no heat. I think the thermostat is stuck open. Have taken it to Honda 104 and federal in westminster where the car was bought and they said too bad.

The dealer stated it was due to defective return hose. The car stay at dealer for 7 days in order to get the new part in. Honda refused to pay for a rental car as it was too hot to drive. I believe I bought a defective car.

The safety system (Honda sensing) that detects a car or pedestrian in your path and engages the brake warning light and automatic braking mechanism will sometimes engage at highway speeds when there is no object any where near the car. If this engages that could cause the car to stop on the highway causing a collision. I have had this happen 6 times and 2 of those 6 times the warning light came on and and braking occurred. The other 4 times the warning light with the brake indicator came on which was distracting.

I was traveling approximately 45 mph and approached a green light. The light was green and there were no cars traveling in front of me. There was a car sitting in the turning lane facing me waiting to turn. The car was not moving. All of a sudden an alarm went off in the CRV and the brakes were applied hard for no reason. The CRV almost came to a complete stop throwing me forward. I quickly evaluated the situation. The light was green, no vehicles in front of me except the car facing me in the turning lane. I am afraid the car will do it again for no reason to me or my partner. No damage occured.05

This is the third time in past three weeks. Car starts and and all lights come on blinking on dashboard including brake, brake system, and continue blinking. Blinking lights continue when car is stationary or moving and on gravel road and paved roads. The first trip to local Honda and report was bad battery. Second trip and I was told connector box. This is third time and its weekend and local Honda closed. This is a huge safety concern. The date below is third time date.
