On the 2011 we had no vision problems with the backup camera at night. The vision was clear and you were able to see everything.
With the 2016 the night vision has stripes of yellow on it and my husband cannot see what is back there. When problem reported to the dealership they said "That's just the way it is" and turned up the dash lights as far as they will go making it nearly impossible for me to drive because of the glare from the bright lights of the dashboard. I am so sick of hearing "that's just the way it is" to "that's just a characteristic of the car". For the price of the Odyssey there should be no problems that they cannot fix. Our minivan was built in Alabama leaving the assembly line in August.
