Airbags did not deploy during a head on collision. The backseat seatbelt also did not lock when the collision occurred, which resulted in my child's car seat moving forward and allowing the child to sustain head trauma during the accident. The passenger of the vehicle sustained injuries. The driver sustained bruised ribs from hitting the steering wheel. The truck had quite a bit of frontal damage and took several weeks to repair. I assumed the airbags would've been checked during the time the repairs were done at a local Dodge dealership.

NHTSA campaign 01V153000. Daimler/Chrysler issued a clock spring recall. This vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN although it experienced the same problem that was mentioned in the recall. The consumer had accidents on two separate occasion in which the air bags did not deploy.

Horn would sound with engine off and on (no alarm system) for up to 40 min. Any time of day. Steady sound! then shut off. No onset. Had to pull fuse to stop resulting in no horn at all. Consequences: Irate neighbors, road rage from surrounding drivers. Replaced T control module and clockspring. Dealer preformed repair. Has old parts. Seems to be fixed. Took 12 days.
