Immediately after the driver started the car, many notifications popped up on the dashboard including: cross traffic system fault, service vehicle soon, full accessory power active, hill start assist not available, service AdvanceTrac, Engine Coolant Over Temperature, and Cross Traffic System Fault. The gauge showed fuel empty and other dashboard indicators were illuminated such as engine, battery, oil, seatbelt, airbag, faulty blindspot monitoring, and traction control. Driver took pictures of these notifications and indicators for documentation. Driver turned off the car and discovered recall # 25S02 for the vehicle. Owner recognized the notification explosion from similar experience on May 5, 2024 in reference to recall # 24V267000. In May 2024, the notification system showed all of the above alerts before the vehicle shut off and lost power. At this time, the vehicle was traveling at 60 mph on the interstate. Driver was fortunately able to exit and get to a parking lot before losing steering control. Vehicle would not restart, even with a jump. The vehicle was towed to dealer, however, dealer would not honor the issued recall as it was "not yet active". The dealer replaced the battery and alternator (deemed to caused by faulty battery included in recall) at expense to the driver. Driver was not reimbursed. The manufacturer was notified for May 2024 incident and again after February 4, 2025 incident. Vehicle was towed on 2/5/25 to dealer for service. Despite the active recall, there is "no current remedy" for the problem. Driver is expected to pay all costs (i.e., tow, service parts, rental car) to HOPEFULLY be reimbursed by the manufacturer once the recall solution is released. The fact that the same issue occurred with a second recall under a year is a huge inconvenience and safety risk. Current recall states, "vehicles in this recall were previously repaired under 24V-267 and will need to have the new remedy completed".

Driver was driving on the interstate. The car flashed several electrical system failure issues and notified that the alternator no longer functioned and that the system would then pull from the battery. The battery light came on and then flashed several warnings along with sounds. Driver was luckily able to exit the interstate and make it to a parking lot off before vehicle lost all power. Once parked and turned off, the accessories like radio and dashboard screen and lights were still functioning. The car would not start until we jumped it. Afterwards the car would not switch gears and then again flashed the electric system was experiencing failure. This and along with some whirring sounds from under the hood (what I could hear from driver seat), gave me enough reason to stop trying altogether to avoid further issues. After turning the car off, the dashboard flashed errors saying that features like electric braking, lane assist, and others were not available. Car was towed to dealership. Owners notified Ford dealership of recall # 24V267000 for the vehicle on 5/5/24. Dealership said it was not yet active recall (although issued by Ford on 4/11/2024), refused to pay for new battery and alternator needed (caused by the defunct battery- part of the recall). Owner paid out of pocket and was not reimbursed for replacement parts covered by the recall. The vehicle shutting off abruptly while driving at a high speed could have caused injuries or deaths.

August 2024 had multiple instances where the Bronco Sport would stall out while driving, had to maneuver to the side of the road, turn the vehicle completely off, and try multiple times to restart the vehicle. Jack Demmer Ford sent a technician to our house to flash the Powertrain Control Module and Body Control Module. We saw the Part 573 Safety Recall Report 24V-267, where these modules were undercharging the battery, causing the stalling of the vehicle. The vehicle stalled out two more times after the update and has continued to run thereafter. On [XXX], Bronco Sport was struck from behind on the driver's side rear tire, car came to rest against the back axle. There was damage to the axle, rear quarter panel, tail light, and aligned rear tailgate. The vehicle battery was disconnected 12-15 times during the work, we would get messages on the app that "Remote features disabled to preserve battery" as they worked on the vehicle. The vehicle was finally ready on [XXX], for pickup. Drove the car approximately 22 miles and parked in the garage. The following morning we went to start the Bronco and there was a loud bang when we pushed the start button, and all electrical features were dead. We had to vacate the vehicle, all the power features were dead, unload, and take another vehicle for travel. When we returned on [XXX], I popped open the hood and discovered battery damage. Battery acid leaked out into a 5-foot puddle on the garage floor, power steering reservoir drained also. [XXX] had Jack Demmer Ford tow the vehicle back to their facility, they charged for inspection and denied any responsibility for battery failure. Had to have the battery replaced so they could fix the rear damage that was not done correctly the first time. This caused another claim to be filed with insurance. Now Ford is recalling Bronco's due to battery concerns. Continuous undercharging of lead battery causes sulfation, shortening battery life. Battery failed exactly as described in Ford recall 25S02 NHTSA# 25V019. On 11/1/24 drove vehicle 125 miles home on a return trip and parked car in garage. Morning of 11/2/24, vehicle would not start, battery is dead. Tried to charge battery with external charger, would not take a charge. Called dealer, scheduled appointment for 11/4/24. Morning of 11/4/24, started vehicle with a jump box, took vehicle to dealer. Vehicle would not start when shut off at Dealer. Lucky have made it there, I had shut off the auto restart vie dash button, if I had not shut it off, I would have been stranded at my first traffic stop. Dealer determined it was a failed battery, replaced it at a cost of $510 as vehicle was 2 weeks out of warranty. I reluctantly paid the $510. I was lucky that the vehicle did not start running on that (11/1/25) 125 mile drive, the battery was almost dead at the end of the trip, and of course, it would have stalled when battery got too low. There were in-dash warning messages about low battery near the end of the trip. Ford and the dealership won't reimburse me for the $510. They state that they have to test the battery under the recall, even though that original battery was disposed of by the dealership. Dealership wants to test the 2 month old replacement battery under the recall before they can do anything about a refund. That makes no sense, the replacement almost certainly will test ok.

In August of 2024, my vehicle shut down after sitting at a red light. The vehicle would not turn back on nor could I put it in neutral to move it out of the way of traffic. It was explained to me that the battery was bad and had to be replaced when I took it in for service the next day. A recall was placed on my vehicle yesterday related to battery issues and I suspect my prior battery had the same issue as referenced in the recall. My car at the time was under 40,000 miles.

This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the vehicle in July 2024. It has become so bad that the vehicle is nearly un-driveable. FORD states it is a non-issue, non safety related and there is no know fix at this time. FORD has been buying vehicles back due to this "secret recall" but after numerous calls and visits to both dealers and the Ford customer care line, nothing is being done. And while FORD might state it is an "inconvenience", when driving on the highway and a cylinder just randomly shuts down, the vehicle loses power and backfires and vibrates it is a safety concern. I have been EXTREMELY patience and professional in all my dealings with FORD on this matter, yet they refuse to offer me any help or come to a resolution in my case.

The vehicle has been in the shop since day one with many many problems! The TURBO failed under warranty so they replaced it without doing proper procedures. A few months later the turbo failed again out of warranty but this time cracked the head causing damages I can not afford!! The vehicle is sitting at the dealership not fixed!! I want out of this lemon!!! I tried getting them to buy it back when I took it to the shop three different times due to break issues they could not fix but a Ford representative told me it "had too many miles" I work out of this vehicle and have not been able to work now for three months!! Note...after the first TURBO was replaced I told the dealership the vehicle was loosing antifreeze but all they did was pressure check the radiator. A few months later engine failure due to turbo failure!!

Battery is healthy, but car wouldn-??t start. Car was just inspected and passed with flying colors. The car has stalled three times while driving, and a fourth time, it wouldn-??t start. It gave the red battery warning on the dashboard when it wouldn-??t start. Waited a few minutes and tried a couple times and it finally started. Drove it home nearby and don-??t plan on driving it until problem is eradicated. The battery works sometimes and then doesn-??t other times. There-??s no warning, just stalls out of nowhere every once in a while.
