Unstable driving at 50 mph after small road unevenness. (death wobble) almost hit a vehicle while driving on highway 52 in puerto rico. Took it to the dealer and provided with a fix but the problem persist increasingly. Also, computer code P2074 for a 2019 unit. Oil leaking from the left front side of the upper crankcase. Have an appointment at the dealer on March 08, 2021. Dealer informed, upfront, that there is no permanent solution for the so call death wobble unless Ford issues a re-call and provides it.

From the time it was brand new on multiple occasions when driving over a small bump in the road the steering wheel and truck shakes violently especially at highway speeds and will not stop until you brake to almost a complete stop, I took it in to the dealer dealership for the first oil change and voiced my concern and they said Ford was aware of the problem and that they would install an upgraded steering stabilizer. I now have 16,000 miles on my truck with no improvement and when I call the dealership I am told there are no repair parts available.

It is known on the internet as the "death wobble." While traveling around 70 mph in dry conditions on I-185, the truck hit a small bump in the road coming off a bridge. The truck shook violently until I pulled over. I had difficulty controlling the vehicle as I was being tossed about and had difficulty even holding onto the steering wheel. It happened again 10 miles later. The vehicle has less than 30,000 miles and is well maintained included front end alignments, brakes and tire rotations.

The steering began to wobble uncontrollably after hitting a small bump going around 60mph. Happened 3 times. Ford has attempted to fix it but it has not worked. I have researched the problem and it is known as the death wobble. Vehicle is uncontrollable until speed was reduced to around 15mph.

Purchased new, at 9,000 miles was traveling on interstate at 70mph and hit a bump in the road, causing truck to shake uncontrollably. I had to rapidly decrease speed and pull into grass median as to not get struck from behind by another vehicle. Ford service replaced factory steering damper with another oem factory steering damper under warranty and aligned the vehicle. Now at 21000 miles on the vehicle, on (8) separate occasions within a two week period, while traveling over 55mph the vehicle has started shaking uncontrollably again. The only way to control the vehicle is to reduce speed and stop. I have contacted Ford and the dealership. The dealership stated that Ford was aware of a problem with the factory oem steering parts, but has not yet provided guidance on a permanent fix. This issue with faulty oem parts will soon cause the loss of lives if a remedy is not found. I have a brand new truck I am too scared to drive or allow my family to ride in.

While driving at approximately 70 mph on 1 285 in atlanta I was rounding a slight left hand corner hit a bump and the steering wheel shook violently. I almost hit 2 other cars while slowing down and the truck was changing lanes on its own. The shaking subsided at approximately 50mph. This is the third time this has happened in 30 days and the most violent. It was taken to the shop this am.

2019 Ford F250 shakes violently six months after purchasing. Hitting bump on highway at highway speed, or even low speeds on street makes it difficulty to steer, and dangerous close calls. Frightening experience. Have called Ford, and after being on hold, or transferred several times, disconnected. No call back returned.

While driving at regulated highway speeds the truck will develop a violent, uncontrollable shaking when any "normal" roadway bump or hole is struck. The truck lunges violently and is difficulty to control. Rapid deceleration is required by removing foot from accelerator & gently applying brakes. The vehicle's speed must be reduced to less than an estimated 20mph and sometimes stopped before the violent shaking stops. Interstate travel is impossible as most roadway imperfections can cause this violent shaking while traveling at 70mph. Ford is aware of this condition and merely replaced a front steering stabilizer which only reduced the frequency of the problem and did not correct the issue. Ford technicians do not know how to fix and only cite that they will once again replace the steering stabilizer. The front steering components are seeing serious premature wear/damage to the violent shaking. This issue will cause fatalities...and most likely has if properly investigated due to loss of control associated with this aptly named "death wobble" this problem has now continually occurred over a period of 3 months on a new F250 which has 18, xxx miles. The problem began with only 13, xxx miles on the vehicle. Ford has not fixed the problem and sends customers back onto roads with a vehicle which is uncontrollable in normal driving conditions... and will result in losing control of the vehicle. This problem began in 2020 & continues to date. The first occurrence was at a speed of 50mph and continues to occur from 55 -70mph

I am filing a formal complaint regarding my 2019 Ford F250. I experienced what is being called the "death wobble" on a recent trip with my truck. While driving on the highway at approximately 78 mph, I hit a raised section of a culvert crossing which caused my steering to become unstable. The shaking of the steering wheel made the vehicle hard to control and caused us to hit the guard rail and cable barrier. I was in the left lane, and the barrier runs about 3 feet from the roadway. I have damage to the left side of my truck.

On 01-09-21, traveling North on I -75 in Kentucky at approximately 75-80 mph. Traveled over a section of road that was rough and uneven. Vehicle started to shake violently, causing uncontrolled travel into the left high speed lane. Attempted to slow the vehicle to gain control and had to enter the emergency lane and stop the vehicle before the shaking stopped. Had to exit vehicle and check for possible cause and none found. Continued North on I-75 for several miles and again traveled over rough pavement. Vehicle began to shake violently and had to enter the right side emergency lane and slow vehicle to a stop before control was gained.

While driving my 2019 Ford F250 on the highway at around 55 mph, hit a small rough patch on road and the steering wheel started shaking violently, almost lost control. Was able to lower speed and pulled over luckily me and my family did not crash. Ford need to be held accountable and fix this problem before someone gets killed! they need to address the problem with there steering components.
