Received recall letter from Ford Motor Company in July 2016 for defective passenger air bag advising it was to be replaced and I would be notified by Ford Motor Company when to bring it in for replacement. To date (11/02/17), a year and 1/2 later no communication has been received from Ford Motor Company. Front seat passengers in my vehicle, which at times includes myself, continue to risk injury and/or the possibility of death. The stress and anxiety of this continued lack of resolution of this problem needs to end. I do not feel my vehicle is safe.

Takata recall the airbag warning light came on in the vehicle when the vehicle was in motion. I took it to garage and they replace some parts with the but were unable to fix airbag problem. I paid $411 for this service. I called Ford when I received the recall notice in July 2016. They stated they did not have the parts available to fix the recall. I took it to the same Ford dealer and they did not have replacement parts to fix it. This was in November 2016. I was told I would hear from the dealer when parts became available. Under the passenger seat. The light remains on. I have never heard from Ford dealer and my call not returned.

I contacted my Ford dealer where I bought my vehicle from & was advised they have no fix for the airbag system yet. I was re-ended breaking at a round a bout in Feb. & the airbag never went off. I got whiplash & a concussion from the blow of being hit.

Air bag recall by Ford in 2016 dealer is telling me no parts are available and there is no projected date when the parts to correct will be available. I received a legal notice the takata is going into chapter 11 and Ford still has no parts for 1.5 years to repair my car

Takata recall I received a letter in July 2016 informing me of a recall on my passenger side airbags. The letter makers it appear as though this is a serious, life-threatening issue, but I have called several Ford dealerships over the last year and they all claim that they do not have the parts of takata to fix it. Today I received a letter informing me that takata has filed chapter 11 and that I really need to get it resolved. I called a dealership today and they once again claimed not to have the parts. What is the point of sending me all of these warnings if I cant get it fixed? if the point is that I shouldnt be driving my car until its fixed then they should be giving me a replacement vehicle.

Takata recall -- since mid 2016 I have received numerous recall notifications and always check with Ford dealer immediately and am always told that parts are not available and that no one knows when they will be available. I most recently received legal notice from tk holdings that I should take my vehicle to dealership immediately for free recall repair and that I must do so before 12/31/17. I called local Ford dealership to make appointment for repairs and was told that repair parts are still being tested and that no one knows when they will be available. Please let me know what action is being taken by NHTSA to protect the safety of owners of all vehicles affected by these takata airbags. It is hard to understand why Ford and/or takata have not been forced to make repairs. Does anyone care about the vehicle owners that are stuck with these sorry airbags?

Takata recall: Received a letter from Ford postmarked July 15, 2016 and letter dated July 2016. Letter stated an important safety recall on the air bags. Letter stated that Ford will notify me via mail to schedule a service appointment to have the passenger frontal airbag inflator replaced free of charge. I have not received any further information from Ford in any form on this issue. Over a year surely is enough time to provide a resolution for a safety issue.

Takata recall - recall 16S26 - the passenger frontal airbag inflator could rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash where the supplemental frontal airbags are designed to deploy. This defect report is in response to takata dirs 16E-042, 16E-043, 16E-044. There is still no solution since 1 June 2016 for the Ford Fusion 2010. How long should this take and is it safe for someone to sit in the front passenger seat?

Takata recall. In 2016 I was notified of a recall involving the passenger side air bag and instructed to go to the dealer for repair. To date the dealer is unable to get the parts necessary to perform the repair and the recall web site says "recall status- recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available". when will they ship the parts to fix this" everything I read about the problem points to extreme safety concerns! how long can they get away with this"

I have contacted key scales Ford in leesburg fl at least 4 or 5 times over the last couple of years. Their reply has always been we done have any replacement airbags for my car. They will contact me when they receive the replacement airbag. Can you help to get this issue resolved? Takata recall in July of 2016 I received a recall notice from Ford Motor Company in regards to a recall for defective takata airbags. I have since had my vehicle in for service many times and each time have asked about the recall. Each time I have been told that the part is not available. As of today 10/26/2017 the part is still not available.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Fusion. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags). The part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair. The dealer (advantage Ford of stuart, 4000 SE federal hwy, stuart, fl 34997, (772) 287-0955) did not give a specific date for when the part would become available. The manufacturer was contacted and could not provide an estimated date for when the contact's vehicle would receive the recall repair. The contact was not experiencing a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Takata recall. I called woody anderson Ford at (256) 539-9441 and was told that they have not received any replacements for the faulty takata airbags. They do not know when Ford will send replacement airbags. Complaint is that I cannot find an answer when the fix will be available or if it will ever be available.
