Manufacturer recall number19S16 NHTSA recall number19V362 recall statusrecall incomplete, remedy not yet available summary on your vehicle, the bushing in the transmission shifter cable may degrade over time. This may cause the transmission shifter cable to not be able to fully move the transmission to the selected gear position. Ford has yet to repair this recall and its been over 4 months me driving with an unsafe vehicle. They even mailed me a letter back in may about it.

I was getting ready to leave my place of employment in the parking lot and I tried to put my car in drive but the gear shift was not registering. Gear shift inside the car said drive but my car was still in park. Later found out after I did some inspecting that the shift cable bushing had pop off, and that's why I wasn't able to move my car

When attempting to start car, it clicks but will not start. I had road side assistance boot battery and got the car to start, I took the car to auto zone to test battery they said battery is good. When I attempt to turn off the car and put the car in park I can remove the keys from ignition and open the door but the car never actually powers completely off, the dash board lights are still on and my car charger is still working. After several attempts of starting my car and shifting to park it finally does power all the way off.

While attempting to pull off after starting my car (vehicle stationary). The gear shift would read park on the dash and the gear shift would not change regardless of me moving it. After calling my mechanic the inspection showed the bushing came off. I received a letter from Ford a few days before about the potential warning of the bushing possibly deteriorating. I have spoken with multiple Ford reps and have been unable to get an appointment after being told that with my car being effected now, my process of being seen would be expedited. I was also told about having received compensation for a rental or loaner car while my car is unable to drive. I think Ford is giving me the run around until they can find a solution but that does not change the fact that I have been effected today. Richmond Ford Lincoln refused to service me and take my case number while belittling corporate the entire way. I also received the incorrect name from one employee. This recall process has been excruciating and as a Ford consumer this being my second Ford. I am debating if the company even values me, I definitely can't tell after continually asking for an update. The last representative I spoke with said it isn't his department and someone would reach out to me. He said that the day before. I don't know what my next steps are but Ford is not assisting during this recall situation.

Takata recall, when stationary and shifting from park to drive it is very harsh and grinds (it sounds like metal on metal),, then from reverse to drive it grinds even more.

My car has apparently been under a recall from Ford regarding the steering wheel since March of 2018. I have taken it to crain Ford to be serviced multiple times since 2018 and was never told about the recall. I had to have it towed to crain on Thursday night after an issue with the gear shift. Upon doing some research on the NHTSA website on Friday, I found that my car is now under 2 different recalls. I was told Friday that my car would be serviced first thing Monday morning and I would be called and updated on the situation. I also was not offered a loaner car, and upon asking if I could obtain one, was told that they were completely out. I have since had to call them twice this morning, and was put on hold in the excess of 10 minutes each time. I am currently waiting on a call back to determine what time I will be able to go pick up my car, if I can at all, today. I have been without a vehicle all weekend. I am currently having to miss work because I do not have means of transportation to get there. I am very unsatisfied with Ford, and crain Ford of little rock.

My vehicle was stationary and when I decided to switch gear into drive I realized it would go into gear correctly I didn't know what else to do so I got my car towed to get out of a privately owned parking lot. I looked up to see if there was a recall I didn't know about and it's so crazy because the recall just announced a few days ago.

The bushing that attaches to the shifter cable broke from the transmission, which made my car appear to be in park, however, it was not. I was pumping gas, when I was done, I turned my car on and went to take it out of park and it would not move, showing my car was in another gear, which caused my car to roll forward almost slamming into the gas station. The parking brake was not applied until after this happened. This left us stranded for over 8 hours in snow, my car was not towed until the next day. It took until the next morning for Ford to help with towing, I was told I was out of luck basically because of other wrecks. I then had a towing bill to pay for. I also have a bill for repairs that I have refused to pay because of the recall (they said my car was not on the list, one mechanic says he knows mine should be because this is a huge known issue). I called the hotline and did not get anywhere, they were rude. I was advised if this hit the recall list, then I would be reimbursed. However, prior to this and still, when you touch the brakes, there is a noise in the shifter, which has been repaired a few times, then I'm told there is no permanent fix for it, it will keep doing this after every repair. Why? I feel unsafe for my children and myself in this car, granted I love the Ford Fusion comfort and how it rides smooth. Not only have I had these issues, I've put 3 sets of brand new tires on it, yet every time I'm told there is no issue with the alignment or anything. I should not need new tires after 10,000 miles! if I could trade this in, I would because it's put me in debt with 3 sets of tires and towings.

I have just recently purchased my 2016 Ford Fusion AWD vehicle and the check engine light has come on. I had a professional scanner run the code and it has to do with faulty emission sensors near the gas tank, which I have heard are common for these vehicles. No recall means I'm out $300 after just purchasing a brand new "used" vehicle.

Put the vehicle in park and it proceeded to continue to drive. Had to use the emergency break to stop car from moving. After that the car would not start and it was towed to dealer. It should be noted my car was at the dealer for months for the same car and they stated the problem was fixed.
