On Easter 2023, my family and I were traveling when the check engine light came on. A warning indicated there may be an emissions problem. I contacted my local dealership the following morning and was told that there was a safety recall on seatbelts ( had no idea) and that I-??d have to wait until 5/1 in order to get a loaner. I was advised if I brought the car in sooner, I wouldn-??t be allowed to leave in it if needed parts weren-??t available. I was told that the car was safe to drive as long as check engine didn-??t flash. On 4/26, I was a block away from my home when several warnings began to illuminate all at once- -??adaptive cruise control is failing, see dealer-??, -?? collision mitigation braking system failure, see dealer-?? among several more warnings. I contacted the dealership again and was told to keep my appointment the following week. I took my car in on 5/1 and was told that I needed to replace fuel injectors at 68k miles! I was quoted $2100 for the repair and parts however the part can-??t be located due to being on a critical back order. It seems that staff at Honda have been provided a script to ask consumers to pay for the part in order to be given an eta which is ridiculous. I questioned why the dealership couldn-??t order the part and I pay once it arrives to ensure my car received the part. 2 weeks later and still no ETA. Honda should honor their brand and customers and issue a recall as I-??ve read this is a frequent problem on the 2018 model Accords.

Check engine and 11 other warning lights appear. Dealership reports it as faulty fuel injectors and driving should be avoided or limited. The repair is covered under an extended warranty as there is apparently a known issue with design of the parts used in manufacturing. The issue is no parts are available to repair it under warranty however dealership claims they can fix it for cost of about $1500 using -??other fuel injectors.-??

There has been a series of constant issues with this model and each issue has been brought to a certified Honda dealership and was supposedly "fixed" engine code P0300 (random/multiple cylinder misfire),P2651 B rocker arm Actuator system, P0087 Fuel Rail/system pressure, P0304, P0303 cylinder 3 and 4 misfire, engine temperature always above normal. These issues on multiple situations has put my safety and the safety of others at the highest risk. The motor vehicle due to these issues randomly would lose power to the point where stepping on the gas doesn't not accelerate the car, forcing me to stop in the middle of the highway having other vehicles stop suddenly and swerve around me with children in the vehicle. Another occasion going up a hill the car beings to stutter losing power resulting to the car shutting off, forcing me engage These reoccurring issues have also randomly caused the vehicle to not start. Multiple warning signs are lit across the dashboard. These occurrence are random with no warning sign The vehicle has been brought to the same dealership numerous times claiming each issue was fixed but within a few weeks more issues came. The last visit i was told as a "solution" i need to buy a new engine out of pocket, unacceptable for a Honda engine with 64000 miles on it. This oil dilution issue need a proper answer before someone is serious injured.

I have taken my Honda because of engine misfiring. They said there is coolant seeping in the pistons and we red a new engine gasket and the cost is $4,000. All the warning lights are turning on and alerting the driver but when I took it in and paid $380 they can-??t figure out why these are turning on. The fuel injectors and belt are another item that has been alerted to being an issue. These are problems my 20 year old car has not encountered and this is a 2018. The airbags warning has been an issue at least once every few months.

My 2018 Honda Accord Ex-L 91,560 miles has an issue with the fuel pump/injectors while driving on the roadway and/or highway. My vehicle will come to a mid stop abruptly because it is not getting enough power to the engine from the fuel pump. This has caused safety issue to myself, passengers in my vehicle, pedestrians and and other drivers while operating my vehicle. Honda has been made aware of this issue and has over 650,000 vehicles manufactured between 2018-2020 with the same reported issue and has previously issued a recall for only certain 2018-2020 vehicles. Furthermore, Honda refuses to repair my 2018 vehicle under the recall for the same issue based on my VIN#. I have notified Honda of the inherent danger to myself and others and they have ignored the safety hazard and refuse to repair the fuel pump which typically has a life span of 250,000 miles or more.

Two cylinders began misfiring on the same day due to fuel injectors. Dealership inspected the injectors and confirmed they needed to be replaced. Under 60k miles on the vehicle. This caused a check engine light as well as 8 other error messages to show on the dash. Exhaust system error message was seen. Brake system light and ABS light turned on due to the fault in the exhaust system. Unclear if the systems are still working as intended. There were no prior warnings or issues until these dash lights turned on. Fuel injector issues causing engine misfire is dangerous at high speeds and can cause further damage to the vehicle.

Hello, On 12/19/2022 when I started my 2018 Honda Accord EX 1.5L it started giving me all the warning lights at a time and suggested me see Honda dealer. I took it nearby Honda dealer and they diagnosed the issue and found that there is issue with fuel injector CODED PO301 CYLINDER 1 MISFIRE 1st - CLEARED CODES Upon rescanning - recorded multiple misfires on cylinder 2, swapped coils and plugs no change misfire did not follow. Failed Air Fuel Test -?" Step 1: Replace Fuel injectors with Fuel Pipe AND CHECK VALVE CLEARANCE (Valve Adjustment). And Honda dealer mentioned that it is not covered by warranty.

2018 Honda Accord 1.5 with 56k miles: while driving on the freeway, all the warning lights came on and jerked. Pulled over for a safety measure and turned engine off and turned it back on. Error code did not clear. My first initial thought was a file injector issue. Took it to the shop, After diagnosis, they said it was a misfiring (I-??m like ok) they replaced coil and spark plug. After 1-2 months, tissue had came back. I checked a error code and it was another misfire. After a thorough search, looks like Honda has been having issues with fuel injectors but is not acknowledging the problem. They keep getting a misfire code on cylinder 4, but after checking the coil and spark plugs they said nothing is wrong.

One day all the car warning lights came on. After I backed out of the driveway, I placed the car in drive and tried to accelerate. When I stepped on the gas pedal the car barely accelerated. It barely moved. I turned of the engine and turned it back on again and the car was ok again, but this keeps happening from time to time. I've had the car checked a few times, but mechanics weren't sure what's wrong with the car. They keep getting a misfire code on number one, but after checking the spark plugs they said nothing is wrong with the spark plugs.

I purchase my 2018 Honda Accord 1.5l Touring as a second owner from a Honda dealership when it had one previous owner and only 14,000 miles on it. Since the day I drove away the vehicle would shake slightly for a few seconds upon a cold start up. I really didn't think much of it at first because I have never had a Honda and it quickly would stop. Fast Forward about 14 days Lateran I was getting on the highway and when I went to move from the on ramp into a lane the car suddenly went into limp mode and every light on the dashboard came on. I was almost killed by a semi truck no joke. I then had it towed to the dealership and they called me literally one hour after they opened and said it was just because my tail light was getting water (this made zero sense to me but I said ok). Turns out that they magically figured out what the issue was (because it would happen once every couple months) right after warranty was up. They claim it is the fuel injectors and they need to be replaced at the cost of $1,600. This is insane and clearly a major issue they are ignoring.

You lose power while driving than it stalls to about 20 mph Emmission warning lights come on. After cool down the car will drive normal speed again for a short time before it repeats itself driving 20 mph with emission warning light coming on. It is a very hazardous condition and dealerships can-??t figure anything out. We have spent $1600 on fuel ejectors And car still doing the same thing. Next morning my husband drive it to work and was put in a hazardous condition.

2018 Accord Sport 1.5T - got a tune-up at around 98,000 miles. 1 month later, car went into 'limp' mode while trying to accelerate. Check engine code indicated misfire on cylinder 3. Had to have it towed - dealer found it also misfiring on cylinder 4 and determined it was a defective spark plug since they had just replaced all of them. 1 month later, did the same thing. Took it to a different dealer and they put a camera into each cylinder and found that cylinder 3 and to a lesser extent cylinder 4 were dirty. They are saying that head gasket is leaking coolant into the cylinders and recommending cylinder head replacement. This poses a safety issue as it is dangerous if the car won't accelerate when you expect that it should. Standard internet search indicates that this seems to be a fairly common issue with this particular engine (1.5T).

I have a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0. Twice it left me stranded on the side of the road due to a failing fuel pump. the first time it kicked back on after an hour and all the lights turned off so they said a diagnostic cannot be performed. The second time I was driving in the middle of the road and the engine cut off and would not start, luckily I had some space to pull over but I was still in traffic and I called a tow truck. It took 6 1/2 hours to finally get it to the Honda dealership and they told me my fuel pump had failed and there is a recall for 2018 2.0s but not my specific Vin so I have to cover the cost. It-??s $1055 plus taxes even though there-??s an active recall for other 2018 2.0-??s but not my exact vehicle. The part is on back order and can take up to a month they are providing no service car and no help on the recall.
