The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. the contact stated that the rear hatch would not open and the engine was difficult to start. Later, while driving approximately 70 mph, the forward collision avoidance system erroneously activated and caused the vehicle to abruptly stop. The vehicle was taken to flow Honda of burlington (2920 S. church St, burlington, nc) where it was diagnosed that the battery was faulty and the automatic braking system required an update. The battery was replaced and the update was performed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 60,135. The consumer stated the brake warning indicator occasionally illuminates.

Gas gets in the oil, gas fumes go into the car itself and make us dizzy while driving (not safe). Car sputters (not safe) and heater does not get warm enough to keep the windshield clear in cold weather reducing viability and creating a safety issue. It takes 15 minutes of driving for car to warm up, I don't know how to see out of the windshield for the first 15 minutes. I'm aware this is a known issue with my model, I would like Honda to do a recall and really actually fix it. Dealer says there is no fix at this time. The service campaign isn't working. I'm reading that the 2019 were supposedly fixed with the same service campaign and it's not working.

On 10/16/2019, dealer replaced all of the fuel injectors, because they failed Honda's tests. Picked up the vehicle on the evening of 10/16/2019 and drove it home. Started driving it to work on 10/17/2019 and while accelerating on the interestate, the engine started misfiring (violent thuds) and the check engine light started flashing repeatedly. I lost power and was able to make it to the side of the road. As soon as the vehicle was stopped, I placed the vehicle in park and then the check engine light no longer blinked or illuminated. Had the vehicle towed to the Honda dealership. Vehicle did not misfire prior to the repairs made by Honda. Attached is the fuel injector repairs invoice. I also had all required maintenance as indicated in the Honda service manual. Vehicle has approximately 61000 miles.

When I go to Honda dealership, they tell me I have no recalls on my car, although im reading everywhere else, and im getting notices in the mail on a few of them. I feel like im being lied to about my car and im afraid that my car is going to fall apart the longer I keep it. I would like to see if I can get someone to advocate for me on the issies that I am having with the Honda dealership/corporation. I was on my way home from work three days ago, and I could not get my car to shift into reverse, I released the shift button and it popped out onto my floorboard. Honda now says they will not cover the full cost of repair. My recall that I was supposed to have done about my motor leaking gas into the oil was never repaired and they are telling me that even though I got the notice in the mail, my vehicle shows does not need repaired. Please help me. I have never felt so helpless and they tell me I was never sent a recall notice, when I have it in my hand.

The oil level has consistently increased after every oil change, and has had the smell of gasoline, even within 1200 miles. I have brought this to the attention of Honda on three separate occasions, but the dealership refuses to acknowledge the problem since I live in a warm climate area, and they insist, in the face of clear evidence, that only cold climates have the problem. 1,168 miles after an oil and filter change, I smelled gas from the dipstick, so I sent the oil in for analysis. The report came back with critical (>5%) dilution. This is a safety issue, as many people may not know that their engines may sieze, or just stop running, due to lack of lubrication.

I was driving my Honda CR-V on a city street all off sudden the low tire pressure and brake system failure came on and the car just stalled and won't start. Once I got off the car, the locked and I couldn't unlock the door anymore. I towed it home as the dealership was closed for the day. Now the lights come on and the dash lights up and I can't turn it off.

Emissions issue detected, then eventual error codes diagnosed as P0172 and P291F. Replaced fuel injectors and high pressure pipe under service bulletins 10=8-025, 18-027, and 19-015. This is a common issue that should be addressed through a redesign and recall. Failure of this component could cause the engine to stall unexpectedly, causing a safety issue.

Engine oil level on dipstick way above what it should be and there is a strong gasoline smell in the engine oil. The Honda maintenance minder says 70% engine oil life is left. Also the seat heaters don't seem to work. Based on what I read online this seems to be somehow linked with the engine oil dilution issue

The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. while the contact's friend was driving 75 mph, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The contact's friend claimed that she smelled an odor coming from the vehicle. The vehicle was pulled over and turned off. When the contact's friend attempted to restart the vehicle, all the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel and the vehicle would not restart. The vehicle was towed to port charlotte Honda (1252 tamiami trail, port charlotte, fl 33953, 941-564-3343) where it was diagnosed that the engine failed. The dealer informed the contact that they repaired the motor and changed the battery; however, the failure recurred three days later. The contact took the vehicle back to the same dealer and was informed that the battery was never changed and that they would replace the battery to repair the defect. The manufacturer was notified regarding the failures and complaint number: 09758024 was filed. The failure mileage was 24,600.

I have read that there are problems with Honda's 1.5 liter turbo earthdreams engine related to gasoline in the engine oil. I check my engine oil dipstick today and discovered there is indeed gasoline in it (per smelling it). I have filed a case with Honda, but since they don't have a fix for this yet, I am worried that having gas in the engine oil is going to cause severe damage to the engine. I have asked Honda what they intend to do to remedy this problem, but have not received a response as of yet. I had an oil change approximately 2,000 miles ago. There is about 39,950 miles on the car. I have not yet noticed any major problems with the engine, but it does not seem to have the power it did when I first purchased it. Thank you.

My 2017 Honda CRV-touring was just about 10K & recently, when turning on ac while running, engine is making very loud noise. It was not supposed to be built in this way for top of the line of CRV model. Since my car is under manufacturer warranty such that I want it to be checked to defect the issue.

Warranty extension:2017-18 CR-V - gasoline seeping into engine oil. No problems have occurred yet, but a one year extension on a warranty is a totally insufficient remedy to the problem that can significantly reduce a vehicles life if the symptoms become evident after the short warranty extension period. A recall that requires a permanent fix to the problem is in order. See this link: Https://www.motor1.com/news/268789/Honda-CR-V-engine-troubles-report/

The oil level reading is above the full mark on the dipstick. The dealer has told me that it is normal for this engine to do this. They tell me they do not have a fix for it. Problem with this overfilling is that gasoline is deluting engine oil which may cause engine failure and lead to an accident.

I purchased a 2017 Honda brand new from my local dealer on 9/28/2017 I had the oil changed as required. A few months ago I had a oil change done at the dealer at the same visit they did a fuel injection software upgrade. Since the upgrade my engine runs very rough when first started this never happened be fore the upgrade. The reason for the upgrade was that there was gas getting into the oil causing the oil level to rise which stated in the owners manual can cause engine damage. Today I listened to my engine and the ticking noise is getting much loader than when I purchased the car.iam very concern that there is engine damage its seems that Honda is in no hurry at all fixing the problem and when they do its going to be to late and the engine will be ruined
