My steering wheel coupler is broken no one is able to due the work on it my wheel shakes bad when I get onto the highway and when driving street way also also the brakes lights are keep going out I have to get my brake lights changed every two weeks

Steering coupler is broken but I can't get it fixed because the extend warranty only goes to 100,000 miles! I'm over that mileage! the part is very cheap but the labor to get it replaced is over $300. Please make this a recall for everyone asap!!! it is not safe for us to be driving with this broken part!!

The steering has been progressively getting worse over time. Initially I started with my steering wheel locking occasionally. Then started small clicking and clunking noises when turning steering wheel or going over bumps. Now the noise is all lot worse and the steering wheel feels like it wants to come off at times. I have read several complaints with the same issues and yet Hyundai has not admitted this is an issue with these vehicles. I have been basically pleased with this vehicle up until this issue started. A lot of complaints I read was that this started around the 100,000 mile point, which would be correct with me as well, it started just before I hit 100,000 and has continued and progressively gotten worse.

When driving, my steering wheel shakes/rattles major on highway to wear I have to hold the steering tighter to try to make it more secure. It also shakes/rattles just driving through the city at lower speeds. It does not feel safe, secure or normal for this to be occurring. It feels like it is the entire steering column that is having issues and just seems to be getting worse over time.

So my steering wheel coupler has gone bad I knew there was a recall on this when I first got the car; when I went to the Hyundai dealership nobody would fix it and they tried to charge me $600 to fix it. And because of covid I couldnt get it fixed since I was furloughed. Then I was charged $500 to try to find what a ticking noise.was in my car and I was charged for.something that Hyundai didnt fix and other dealers charged me and my issue still wasnt fixed. All together I wasted almost $1100 to find a way to fix my issues and nothing was fixed. The second issue I was told was heat box and actuator but it wasnt fixed because Hyundai tried to charge me $3,041.84..... I know alot of.things are apart of these recalls this car have but no one even Hyundai was willing to fix it free of charge.

My steering wheel clicks and always feels as if I'm swerving. Now on the highway, starts shaking once to 70 miles an hour. This has happened 3 times within 2 weeks. Rattled or shakes real bad going over railroad tracks or hitting a small whole. This is a very serious and dangerous issue that is eventually gonna cause accidents if not fixed. I asked the dealer ship if there had been a recall for this and the response was no and the cost would be $250 to repair.

Took my car to (Hyundai sanota 2013 turbo) to dealer to get brake lights fixed and the steering wheel fixed acouple of years ago...which was covered by my warranty the underwriter notice the paint had pealed from the front bumper and stated he will have them paint the bumper after he checked with someone they stated the other owner had bumper wrapped so Hyundai not responsible... since then I've seen many of Hyundai bumbers with the same problem 🤔 #2 while driving my car last this weekend a tapping sound coming from engine so I chaged my oil...after I chaged the oil the I drove my car not even 2 miles and it seemed the tapping sound was getting worse... the oil and check engine light came on and it started knocking and shut off now my car want even start my extended warranty expired 2/2020😖

My 2013 90K mile Hyundai Sonata's steering has been making a cluncking/clicking noise when turned/moved from right to left. The steering wheel has noticeable play when parked and when driving at freeway speeds seems to not maintain a straight line pulls right to left. I have an appointment at the Hyundai dealer on Thursday to have it checked to see what the issue is. I will update when I hear what the problem is/remedy. It looks like from what I am ready there are many complaints on this issue.

I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and for the past year and a half every month I'm having to replace the driver side brake light it keeps burning up and melting I have contacted Hyundai numerous times about this with no resolution to the problem from them.. for the past two years my steering column has been making a weird clicking noise in the steering is extremely loose I have contacted Hyundai about this situation as well and have taken the car to a mechanic for both reasons the brakes and the steering and they say that they are constantly having people with high on days come in with these exact same problems
