My Jeep has been and looked at for shaking in the front end when getting to a certain speed. I have found out after going to get a wheel alignment and being told it may be my tires and having them changed and then told it may be the balance of the tires and having that checked the issue is still present. After looking into this issue more and talking to other Jeep owners about this they said it is what is called the Jeep shakes. And according to looking this issue up this is present on many Jeep years and for me as a car owner there is no recall to fix this issue. The cost of fixing this issue can range from $900 to 1500 dollars depending on where it is taken. The Jeep when driving and reaching 55 plus mph and it starts to shake and if able to get to 65 mph the shaking ceases.

While driving the car on 2 separate occasions, the car died while in motion. The first time, I was leaving church and made a left turn. The car stalled and I was able to move out of the way of traffic onto the shoulder of the road. I put the vehicle in park and started it up a couple of times and was able to go. The second time (today), I turned into a parking lot and it just killed. I put the vehicle in park and then started the car again and moved on. Fortunately, both times, I was able to safely address this. Who knows what will happen the next time? this first happened the 4th Sunday in may of 2018 and the second time, June 10, 2018.

The car would stall in the middle of the road. This happened before, I took it to the dealership, they told me it was due to low/dirty oil level, they did the oil change and it was fine for a while. This morning the car stalled in the middle of the road, I have about 5,000 miles on the car since last maintenance, but when I checked the oil change indicator, it showed that I still have about 36%.

The check engine light is on once in two weeks. My local dealer in san diego (rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge) said that there is a problem with engine gas valve. They said it was leaking. Each time this is the issue. This is my 4th time going to the dealer. I strongly believe that its very risky for passengers to drive such cars with leaks. I request NHTSA team to please review all Jeep Cherokee models as they need re-calls and its unsafe for public to drive such leaky vehicles. I was very afraid when I was turning on highway and my car started noise as if something is bursting, it was very frightening moment.

I've owned this vehicle for three weeks. I parked my Cherokee outside my office at work, shut it off as normal, and came back out a few hours later to run some errands. I received a message that stated 'no fob detected'. I tried the auto start, which worked, the lock and unlock from the key fob worked, but when I tried to start the vehicle the only message received was 'no fob detected'. I called Jeep and they tried to walk me through a reset, which did not work. Aaa came out to try to assist. They disconnected the battery, tried jumping the vehicle, and performed the reset as well. None of this worked. I had to have it towed to the dealership and am still waiting on diagnostics to tell me what was wrong with it and how much it will cost to fix.

The engine shuts off without any warning. It has happened on ramps, a parking garage, on the highway and the middle of an intersection. No warning lights come on until after the engine stops. The steering fails, the brakes fail and the vehicle rolls to a stop. Often, it will take several minutes and attempts to restart the engine. I was advised by the dealership that the oil was low. The engine continues to shut off and with no correlation to time frame after having the oil replaced, time it has been driven, or duration of the trip. This is completely unsafe to the person operating the vehicle and to others on the road. Jeep and the dealership have ignored the problem and I have even been told by Jeep customer service that "the engine is operating as designed" which means that it will shut off without warning to protect the engine, not those inside the vehicle. They have refused to fix or acknowledge the issue, refused to void the lease and refused to replace the vehicle.

Please help me with my potentially deadly problem? my 2016 Cherokee dies while I'm driving (city & highway ["dinged" but didn't die-I won't drive it on the highway]). it is frightening and potentially deadly. There is no pattern to when or why this happens. It happens repeatedly and the dealership cannot identify nor correct the problem. The computer doesn't register any codes and doesn't recognize that the vehicle has died. Nothing shows on the dashboard either when this happens. There is a "ding" and the car dies. I have been reading (online) many other identical accounts of this problem with others who won the 2015 & 2016 Cherokee models. My car is, yet again, at the dealership. Please help me? this is a potentially deadly situation. I am afraid to drive this vehicle. And, others are experiencing exactly the same thing. Thank you!

Jeep wobble. I was towing my vehicle behind my motor home. I had traveled approximately 300 miles without problems. Near the end of my trip I made a right turn. Just after making the turn I felt a violent shaking. The incident occurred at low speed estimated to be 20 to 25 mile per hour. I looked into the rear camera and was able to see the vehicle oscillating from side to side.I immediately slowed to a stop to get the shaking to stop. Since I was blocking traffic I continued on to a safe place. After proceeding about a mile to my destination, I had no further issues. I have contacted Jeep concerning the issue. They stated that it was on me to buy a wiring kit to correct the problem. When I purchased the vehicle on December 31, 2017, I told the dealer that I was in the market for a vehicle for towing. They did not have one with the equipment necessary for towing in stock but stated they could get one from louisville ky. I agreed to have get it. In short I purchase a vehicle that the dealership said was ready for towing. At now time during the sales process or after was I ever notified a a wiring package requirement. I just learned of it in recent days when I had it in the shop. I feel that Chrysler should pay for the fix and not me as the consumer based on their representation that the vehicle was ready for towing.

Since my previous complaint, 11048717 I was denied a buy back by fca, llc via first class mail stating I was not eligible under ga lemon law regardless of it being out of service more than 30 days. Since this letter the vehicle has died 3 times while in motion and continues to skip along with a decrease in rpms while idling (observed my dealership service). I also had smoke and a strong odor coming from the left front side of the vehicle with no reason as to why. This car is dangerous and I cannot believe there has not been a total recall since it is shutting off while driving for so many people.

I was driving on a highway and I heard an audible alert while "service transmission" lit on the display and the check engine light came on. I pulled into the right lane to get off the next exit, and the car started shaking lightly. As I was on the exit ramp, my gas pedal wouldn't do anything. Seems like it just stopped working. I glided to a stop and was able to safely make some phone calls. There was a tech service bulletin "to reprogram transmission control module with updated software". I feel this is a very big safety issue and it should be a recall, not just a tech service bulletin. The dealer was excellent in handling this situation, but I'd like to see this problem turn into a recall before someone gets seriously injured. The trouble code they found is "P088700 transmission control circuit". thank you.

Service shifter light randomly comes on. Nothing else seems to be affected, sometimes when engine is turned off then back on the light disappears. Other times, it remains on. The drive ability of this vehicle is unaffected, how ever something is obviously wrong with this. This first occurred when backing from my driveway, I shifted from reverse to drive, the vehicle dinged, and the light appeared on my dash. Now it will randomly do it, doesn't matter when or where, driving down the road, or simply turning on the vehicle.

My car is a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and only has 44,000 miles on it. I keep up with my maintenance. My check engine light came on and my heat isn't working properly. We took it to the dealership in mobile, al this morning and they are saying my warranty for this is up. It's $400 plus dollars to fix and I searched online and other people with this same vehicle are having this problem. This is obviously unfair to consumers. Please look into this matter.

First the car kept reporting that my front left tire was low and even after I checked the pressure, it continued to do so. It took several hours for it to stop. Now I have a 'service shifter' error and all of the lights on my shifter are on. I hear a high-pitched electronic sound when I shift into drive. I have read several forums and there are consumers reporting that when that happened to them, their wheels locked up and the car completely stopped. A few of the cars were totaled! I am going to call the dealer in the morning. Apparently this very dangerous problem has not happened enough for Jeep/Chrysler to consider a recall. One last note: When these errors light up on the dash, you cannot access any other information. You cannot even see your speedometer.

While driving the vehicle at about 30 miles an hour on a city street, I start slowing down at a stop sign and at about 10 miles an hour the power in my car turns completely off engine turns off, lights turn off, inside lights turn off, I let the car roll to the side of the road put the car on park then turn the ignition to see if they'll turn on. The car does turn back on so I continue on my way. This has happened twice in the last 3 weeks every time it has happened the car has always been in motion the lights flicker and then it shuts off.

Water saturating floor and carpets under floor mats, passenger front and rear. May be the cause of intermitant door locks, and at time uconnect radio and climate control system restarts. First visit to dealer, dealer resealed/rewelded rocker panels and improperly sealed areas. Second vist dealer stated the leaking was a sun roof. However, vehicle doesn't have a sun roof. ? the dealer is unable to replicate water coming in from rain but has not checked ac condensation or other means of entry that we know of. Water does appear to show up faster during periods of hot eather and ac usage. Please note - I have pictures of mold growing rapidly on the carpet under the floor mats.
