I was notified about the airbag recall. Two months after notification I went to the oxmoor Ford dealership to find out the time to have car fixed. They told me they will call me when they get the parts in. Over a year and a half later, I heard nothing. Please not2 I am babysitting my younger grandchildren and use my car for transportation. I have been back several more time to talk to them. (and phone calls) which I am told overtime they do not have the parts. Overtime I am told they have me on their list but overtime I go they never heard of me. I feel like I am being put off. P>S> I got an offer to buy another car from them.

Takata recall. Received notice, in March 2017, from Ford, that my passenger airbag was being recalled. Was told that Ford would send me another letter when I needed to schedule a service appointment. 8 months later and I have received no letter. When I called the dealership, they have no answers. I was told they do not have the parts and have no idea when they will get them in. On the airbag recall.com website, it said that my vehicle was eligible for recall since January 2017.

I received the attached recall notice in July 2016 from Ford Motor Company concerning a defective airbag inflator. To date, I have not received any further notification from Ford Motor Company about the availability of the part and instructions on what to do in order to remedy this dangerous condition. I have contacted the Ford dealership, auto nation in marietta, Georgia, a number of times to determine the status of this and have been told that the part is not yet available. Considering the dangerous condition that they describe in the recall notice, I certainly think that this has dragged on much too long, and I am extremely concerned about the danger of death or severe injury.

I have received a recall letter dated July 2016 and no action by the dealer or Ford Motor Company....none, zero not even a explanation from the dealer service department what happened to the recall for the "air bag" replacement. If this is a troubled vehicle I really would like to have action and a replacement of the vehicle my recall number is 16S26. Ford must have an answer....
