The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Altima. While driving various speeds with the headlights activated, the headlights turned off without waning. The contact mentioned that the bulbs were changed twice; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to david mcdavid Nissan (11911 gulf fwy, houston, tx 77034) where it was diagnosed that the lens in the headlights needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 115,000.

I bought my 2013 Nissan Altima 3 & a half years ago when the car only had 16K miles on it. It now has 72K miles on it. Over the past several months my husband and I both have noticed a significant diminished brightness in the low beam head lights. So much so that I personally will not drive my car at night. I will be contacting Nissan to see if / how they will rectify this issue.

Low beam issue cannot see at night time when driving. Reach out to Nissan but no help with this issue. Gave me a quote to have them fix and in so many words that it was not there problem. I've learned that this low beam is an issue with other vehicles of same make, model, and years. I feel this is a safety issue and should have a recall for this. Driving at night is unsafe with these headlights.

Having trouble with my low beam headlights not able to see at night when driving. Reached out to Nissan but they said it was nothing they could do to help with this issue and was given a quote to have them fixed. I feel that this is a safety issue and found out this is a issue with other vehicle. So why haven't a recall been issued for this matter? driving at night is very difficult.

We bought the Altima new in 2013. After three years, the headlights started getting dim. Now it is unsafe to drive at night. High beams work great, but unsafe to use on two way roads. Went to local Nissan dealer, and there is no recall, and I would need to pay $1200 to replace headlights. This is a known safety issue, and needs to be corrected by Nissan.

This is a safety issue, the reflector bowl on for the low beam headlight deteriorates and does not reflect light. You can not see the road, this is very dangerous and Nissan is aware of the problem and has not issued a recall.

My lights are very dim and it is very hard to see in unlit areas. It doesn't appear the light are on but they are. If you want to see you have to put on high beams but have to take off on on coming traffic. There needs to be a recall for this issue and they are to fix the lighting

My headlights are extremely dangerous and I can't believe there hasn't been a recall yet. These things can't light up more than 5-10ft in front of you at night. I have become a rideshare driver and this is unacceptable. Completely unacceptable if you ask me. I have to use the high beams whenever driving in a non-lit area which affects oncoming traffic regularly. I have replaced bulbs multiple times, upgrading to the best lights each time and to no effect. What's it gonna take"?? death before this issue becomes a problem to you people?" sickening is what it is. I don't have $1000 to fix on my own and if I did I still wouldn't. please recall vehicle immediately before I kill people

Takata recall- the front headlights are so dim, it's almost as if they don't even work. I can barely see in front of me and I have to use the brights if I am driving to even see a little bit. This car is totally unsafe to drive! this should have been recalled already and Nissan needs to address this issue! I have seen numerous complaints about the same issue and nothing is being done. Safety hazard by far!!!

My low beams have been very dim to the point where I use my high beams to see at night. I recently replaced the bulbs with brand new ones thinking that would fix the issue. They still show very dim. When I have passengers in my vehicle, they ask if my headlights are even on. I don't feel safe driving with almost no visibility at night or in the rain.

The headlights on the 2013 Nissan Altima are very dim and I have a very difficult time seeing at night when driving this car.
